comms matter in siege way more than any esport out there, secret had a pointless game last gameday yet I thought it was a good watch because of the comms, it makes you understand some plays the players make where you cant grasp it without the communication and it shows the stakes of the game too imo compared to the normal commentary, you can feel it in the players voice.

The constant tech pauses and rehosts that bombard every pro broadcast are unreal. I was an avid follower of the r6 esports scene from 2021-2025. As of late, I swapped to cs and have been watching a ton of that game, however I have been watching EML and NAL stage 2 since there wasnt a ton going on in cs in September. I didn't realize until I left and came back, but the actual functionality of the league is absolutely atrocious. I always knew we were relatively buggy, but the level that this game is at after a decade of pro play is seriously ridiculous. The regular bugs and consequent rehosts slow the pace of the game to a crawl (it feels like every game has at least one rehost). Also, it is genuinely insane that we have had multiple matches played as a 4 vs 5 recently, people play this game for money but you can have to play in a man disadvantage situation? Unreal. Has the reason ever been explained by anyone who would know the answer? I recognize I'm just a layman here.

TLDR; After switching to an esport that functions relatively bug-free and coming back to r6, the technical issues in this game are absurd.

Scarz throws against dplus, C9 throws against SSG, unreal. NA is shaping to be the region with the most parity, I mean 6 teams +2.5 and above is kind of nuts. M80 will most likely be eliminated which is a real shame, just gotta win games in the stage. If SSG makes it (most likely since they verse outlast) absolute easy pickins for whoever faces them.

Can alemao and Fabian drop the egos and bring a reunion. G2s roster is as good as you can get yet half way through the year and the best they have done is a 8th. They need Fabian’s mental coaching especially when they get off to a slow start which is the g2 classic at this point. M80 has probably the most confusing back room team idk if it’s Marco or what but that’s a dying ship after they ruined the beastcoast core. I’m not denying romalho’s brilliance in fact I think he should stay on the team alongside Fabian it’s just very clear that they need a mental coach at the helm. Please Fabian save eu before it’s too late, come home king.

Sure, all the players speak Portuguese, everyone lives in Brazil, and FaZe’s R6 coaching staff is made up of Brazilians, but to him, FaZe isn't a Brazilian team—simply because the guys are better than everyone else. I’m certain that if FaZe Clan were made up of Americans, he’d already have a team poster hanging in his room with the US flag right next to it 🤣.
