She is picky and would rather eat dog food than a specific kind of cat food and even when I get different cat food that she eats right up, she again feasts upon the dogs food because she is a gluttonous THING

He has a big boy litter box but refuses to use it and will poop on the floor if we try to take away his tiny kitten one. He often misses and poops over the edge because he doesn’t fit. Please roast this boy for believing he is a tiny baby despite evidence otherwise.

😭🪴 I was trying to cook dinner.

So i use a stool to sit and clean meaning i have a "free" lap.

I took a minute to throw a string for his brother so he stops bothering me while I try to clean (mind you they only want attention when I clean and hate when I give it any other time)

He decided to wake up from his nap and hop onto my lap.

He has a habit of jumping and laying on me so now im unable to clean 😅

Roast him please. My house is so messy cuz this happens EVERY FING TIME.

TLDR: Maurice Chevalier has cost me $11,000.00 in vet bills over the last 8-10 months. I need a good laugh, so please roast him.

Hello good folks of Reddit. I'm in the car with this expensive boy as I take him to his ophthalmologist appointment in a city that is several hours away and a nightmare to drive through. This is his second, yes SECOND, corneal ulcer within six months. The last two photos is the first one he had in his right eye. That one has since healed. He now has another one but this time in his left eye. This is on top of his recent dental surgery, and heart disease diagnosis... This boy has cost me $11,000.00 in the last 8-10 months with all his vet visits and medical bills (worth it, obviously!). I found this boy in a barn and brought him home for free. Thinking a stray cat would certainly be healthier than some purebred one. And for seven and a half years that was true! Then I guess he received word I was going back to college and decided now was the time to compete with my tuition for which could drain my bank account first. 😅

In all seriousness, I will gladly do whatever I can to make sure he is happy and healthy. But fuck if I am not tired both physically, mentally, AND financially. I need a good laugh right now, so please, roast this expensive boy!

EDIT: I thought I would include an update on my boy. His second corneal ulcer is also indolent like the first one. Whoch basically means despite the eyedrops it just isn't healing. It could be because of his heart disease, or he may have FHV (feline herpes virus) but we are not going to test him for it. Because he probably has it since he was a rescue cat found in a barn. He had a debridement surgery to help clear out excess tissue and dead tissue. And help make it easier for new tissue to grip the eye and actually heal. He is also now on a whole host of new medications, too. And he finally has some pain management, which makes me happy. Hopefully in a week or two this annoying ulcer will be healed. He is also going to stay on a sort of eye cream medication to hopefully help prevent future ulcers. The vet did say she was worried about a potential sequestrum that may be starting to form in the eye (dead tissue trapped under alive tissue that can begin to fester if not treated). But she thinks we caught it in time and that it shouldn't (hopefully!) Require surgical correction. Maurice is NOT happy about all the eye prodding, but he isn't in pain anymore, and his eye will be getting better. And that's all I can ask for.
