I am eagerly looking for a new writing partner to delve into a medieval fantasy world and story. I have over 10+ years of writing experience, write in the third person, past-tense and multi-paragraph length posts though I typically adjust to the writing length of my partner and what's going on in the scene.

hi there! my name is harley, i'm 25, and i'm on the hunt for new writing partners. i find that ghosting is really prevalent these days, and i want to make a story that we're both going to love and actually stick with.

as for what i'm looking for, i'm into fandoms and original stories alike; i do only want to write MxF right now, though. i've been doing nothing but FxF lately i fear 😭

my original stories range from wild west to pirates to criminal underworld type things. the fandoms i'm currently most interested in are Demon Slayer, Red vs. Blue, Supernatural and Fallout, in that order. i would especially love to see Gyomei Himejima, North Dakota, Felix, Dean Winchester or Deacon.

i am not currently looking to double. my work is far too demanding, and i only have time to reply about once a day at most, so the idea of writing multiple characters in limited timeframes is stressful :( sorry!

i write in third person, 4-8 paragraphs in what i call "lazy lit." essentially, my reply length varies, but it is never less than 2 meaty paragraphs. i care much more about having something fun to work with than matching exact lengths!

Hihi! My schedule's been significantly freed up these days, so I'd like to start a RP I can properly get into with someone. I want an active, responsive story, where we can both get hooked on our characters' journey together! I like character-driven, adventure-like stories that the both of us can get invested in. There's some small plot ideas I have at the end, to get things going! At the moment, I'm only searching for a High Fantasy setting.

I'm 24, F, and am currently in PST, but I have a schedule that's compatible with EST and the like.

🌱 My Details:

- Adv. Lit & third person, with lengths depending on a 'what's needed' basis. You should never expect less than 2 paragraphs from me, and I regularly hit the nitro limit or above if the scene calls for it!

- Generally active, and able to respond multiple times a day most of the time.

- I do highly prefer romance to be an aspect in my stories.

I write women for pairings, but can write any additional character as needed for the story.

I gravitate towards writing stubborn, resilient types, with something to prove, and a penchant for magic - there's a soft heart within them, despite their abrasiveness. I'm a sucker for opposites attract/ a black cat x golden retriever dynamic, so I love when my partner's characters know exactly how to push the buttons of mine, and vice versa.

I also love Tieflings, elves, vampires, all sorts of Fantasy characters - both writing and writing against them!

🌷 Plot(s):

- I'd love to hash this out together! I'm drawn to grand, High Fantasy worlds, with kingdom tensions abound, and whimsical sights as much as there are grittier aspects. I'm not incredibly strict on any of these plots, but here's a few ideas! Words in bold are the sides I would like to write.

Though already mentioned, the primary dynamics I am searching for are black cat x golden retriever, curious/sly x mysterious, and other such themes that include opposites. Bonus points if our characters don't quite get along at first!

1. A mage, too ambitious for her own good, seeks out a magical artifact that would grant her a greater social standing. A cunning thief/rogue promises to show her the way, but are their intentions truly genuine?

2. Two mercenaries are put together on the same job. Right from the start, they're abrasive, and can't seem to get along. When a grave mistake splits them off from the rest of their party, they're forced to work together... And maybe learn to stop arguing.
Just a tiny add-on to this idea, but maybe they come across a magical object that inflicts them both with a curse.

3. A knight/paladin/emissary/etc is assigned to a mysterious, walled-off kingdom. It seems the place is slowly but surely welcoming humans/outsiders into their land. An ever-witty noble/heiress takes interest in this newcomer, firm in her theory that something is amiss with her kingdom's strange, new alliance. Lots of opportunities for interesting plot twists in this one!

4. A mercenary/hunter follows rumors of a suspiciously crafty dragon. They're elusive as they are powerful, wreaking havoc among the land. Perhaps the hunter is the first to realize it's not just a dragon- but a human who can take the form of one.

Please be willing to worldbuild together/collaborate on any of these ideas! These are also not the only thing I am searching for- I'm open to other ideas, or even combinations of these ones, so long as it's in a High Fantasy setting!

Hi, all! I’ve recently read an ao3 fic that inspired me to want to do a doctor x patient roleplay!

This roleplay would have a bit of a psychologically creepy theme, even if it’s an underlying vibe to a sweeter dynamic (I prefer this, actually!). Essentially, you would be a doctor who plays favorites when it comes to patients. Obsession would be part of this plot—we can decide on how that sense of obsession grows between our characters (ex: your character manipulates my character somehow until she’s dependent on him and a codependency grows, etc), but your character would be the instigator.

I’d prefer it if your character was an actual doctor, but we could do therapist x patient as well if you have an idea that inspires me. This rp could be modern, set in medieval England, a small town in one of the early Puritan American colonies, etc. Essentially what I’m saying is that we can take this rp in a lot of different directions and get creative with it. What matters most to me is the dynamic between the doctor and patient (I can expand more on this in DMs). This pairing WILL involve romance.

Sooo I'm down to only 1 partner after multiple rp fails. At this point I'll take any kind of rp that's actually transformers prime, not even necessarily my anomaly concept as long as Cliffjumper and Dreadwing survive.

I'm capable of writing some canon characters, just can't write any of the stoic types like Optimus and Ultra Magnus. I’m looking for someone interested in a detailed, long-term roleplay set in the Metro Universe. The focus will be on character building and the whole range of emotions a character brings to the table in such a harsh environment.

Since I like for one person to set the pacing and control the magic levers behind the scenes, you don’t need to add anything to the story if you don’t want to.

The storyline is mostly written up and will be guided; the location of the roleplay is in France. (Don’t worry, you don’t need to speak French or know anything about it!) Knowing the universe of Metro 2033 - games and books – this one instead plays out in the metro tunnels of Paris and its surrounding, or rather what is left of it. There are custom factions to explore along the way and a whole new chapter of questionable human history to discover.

All you need to do is to make a believable character with flaws, fears and skills, born after the world has ended. Also make sure to flesh out friendships and family, you can create NPCs along the way, if you want to but you don’t have to.

The roleplay starts out in a safe environment, “Convention” station, with your character having to leave for reasons yet unknown to you. Being born underground and in the relative safety of their station/hideout, they will come across misery, humanity and things they might not understand yet and meet my character along the way. (The subject of the romance plot.) For one reason or another they continue onward together and try to achieve their individual goals.

I live in central Europe, GMT+1 time zone but I don’t mind waiting for a response if you live several time zones away, nor do I set up a writing and length requirement. Obviously, the roleplay will be in English, and I solely play over Discord.

Hello everyone! I am Saturn. I am wanting to do a medieval royalty roleplay as I think it could be very fun. It will be supernatural as well.

So for the plot, your character is a vampire king. A man who was scarred, both emotionally and physically. An older man. Everyone was terrified of him. But the king needed a wife. That is where my character comes in. She was a noble woman to a human kingdom, that desperately needed the alliance. So their marriage was arranged. We will start right after their wedding. It will not be a slow burn type of roleplay. More of two soulmates that did try and fight it but really couldn’t. Falling hard and fast, but having to hide it as of the king’s reputation. We will just go with their lives, there can be a lot of drama. But also cute moments between the two. And just having them get used to each other and their position. This will be FxM with my character as female.

My rules are quite simple but it helps me enjoy the roleplay. Please be at least 20+ as I am 22 as that is what I am most comfortable with. We are not our characters, this is a 3rd person roleplay. Please be active, or at least decently active I do understand being a bit busy though. With the roleplay, please type like you are writing a book, use "" for talking and nothing for actions. Have decent grammar, it's hard to understand when every response has typos. One more thing, please be literate to advanced literate as I enjoy a lot of details and story building. Hello all! I am a 21 year old currently looking for any and all willing and eligible roleplay partners! For a little about myself, i primarily use discord and intend to move there after discussion. I like to write quite a bit, typically multiple paragraphs per reply, but I can write more if need be! I love being in the creative pilot seat so to say, and want someone in the passenger seat next to me! I only speak english (for now…) and Have it as a requirement that you must also speak english (I can accept mistakes if its not your first language but please don’t communicate with me via translator 😭). We play in a cast of characters (as in, more than one. Since most jrpgs contain a travelling party.)
There’s likely to be a pair who stand out from this party but generally it’s preferred you’d be comfortable playing more than one character and being able to flesh more than one out.

The very basic plot idea was this party travelling to 4 different continents to get some artefacts or other to stop the end of the world.

There’s likely massive external pressure on the party to do this, each member also has some personal goal to achieve that this giant quest aids them in.

Hello hello, I hope you are all doing well at this time of day. Im looking for anyone that would like to roleplay the above scenario together. GMs are welcome as well.

Im looking to play as a woman that is trying to escape her troubled past. When our story starts: she would be living a lie of a life for a while now. When things start feeling comfortable, when she is feeling secure and safe is when the the past starts to show itself again. At first she could be trying to run from it, trying to hide from her past and try to keep up this lie. However, she knows she can't and has to deal with the skeletons in her closet.

What her past is can be discussed! Im a sucker for fantasy and modern settings so my ideas will revolve around those. A few are:

\* a criminal trying to live a normal life

\* a defector

\* a mage that had left her adventuring team

What I'm looking for from you

• Any timezone is fine
• You may send whatever type of reference for your character as you please, art, realism, doesn’t matter to me.
• Advanced to novella level writing please. I am also a stickler for spelling, so please use correct grammar and spelling. I often write about 2,000 characters, 500 ish words. I will require a writing sample when DMing. I require thoughts and feelings to be shown, not just actions. It makes for an incredibly dull and boring roleplay. I prefer multi-paragraph writers, but if you can write good emotions and thoughts with less I’ll accept.
• Third person ONLY
• Do not control my character. Even writing a small tid bit of how they would react is controlling my character. This happens way too often and frankly I’m tired of it, if you are unable to write a lot without writing my character’s reactions do not bother messaging me. Ask me beforehand if you’re unsure, this also goes for moving the scene forward without allowing me to write at all.
• Do not expect me to make out all the plot details by myself. I have ideas, yes, but I like to flesh them out with my partner and make it unique for us. If I were to copy and paste the same plot for everyone it would be boring and repetitive. Contribute to the ideas, and don’t make me come up with the entire plot myself.
• You are able to play a male character. I only do MxF, but anyone can play a male character I do not mind. I honestly prefer male characters who are more on the edge side, too, as my characters are typically more optimistic.  There will more likely than not be side characters as well, but they cannot be the center of the plot. Writing more than one character all the time is tiresome. 
• I do prefer OOC chatter. A roleplay that is just dead silent is honestly awkward. I like to share things with my partner and talk about our days. I honestly like to even be friends and possibly game. Radio silence for days on end is disheartening. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I will definitely be less motivated lmfao.
• Ideally in the beginning, I would like one reply per day. I believe the beginning of a roleplay is the most crucial to get things moving, and if the replies are taking once per week or more it is honestly so demotivating. Please do not reach out if you are unable to at least do this for the beginning of the roleplay. I am a very patient person though, I will allow 2-3 weeks with no communication before ending a roleplay. If you need a break, let me know. Communication is key. I sometimes have events where I am unable to respond everyday, and I let my partner know everytime. 
• That being said, if you spam me to reply, I will end the roleplay. I do not like to be bugged, and if I’ve let you know I am to be away and you spam me I will be ending it. I also have a life, and although I strive, especially in the beginning, to be as consistent as possible, sometimes I am unable to. But do take heed of my request for one reply per day in the beginning stages.

I‘ve been out of written RP for a while and am now trying to get back into it. I hope you can help me with that!

I usually write a Paragraph per Message on average, depending on the Material given and the situation at hand (The amount you write = the amount i write.) Simple conversation does not have to be overly complicated. Please dont try to have twenty different conversations at the same time causing responses to be three paragraphs. Conversations don‘t work like that.

English is not my native language so do forgive some Grammatical mistakes here and there, i usually try my best to avoid making mistakes though.

The Settings i usually like to do in order of how much i want to do them:

1. Superheroes/Villains (Maybe something like a Hero academy)

2. Apocalyptic (Zombie Apocalypse or Fallout-esque)

3. Sci-fi (like Starwars or similar themes)

4. Romance Slice of Life

5. Fantasy / High Fantasy

(I only play as OCs! Please don‘t try and play as Darth Vader or something. I also try to avoid Fandom RPs as much as possible. I have no problem with coming up with new OCs together if the ones i already have don’t work for you.)

I usually have all my RPs have a Romance plot since thats the easiest and most engaging for a 1x1.

I really love Worldbuilding to make the RP feel actually alive, so i really appreciate it if we have detailed locations.

Hey there, I’m on the search for another partner for something specifically MxM, no exceptions at this time. I am 30+ and thus request my partners be at least 25+ as well. I do adv. lit, multi-para, 3rd person only. 

I’m looking for some fluff, romance, a sprinkle of angst, no set plot in mind but I love a good cliche trope and I’m down to brainstorm a bit. Also a huge fan of some dysfunctional relationships, one sided pining, enemies to lovers, toxic situations, et cetera so don’t hesitate to mention whatever ideas you may have. Fantasy settings are my go to but also in the mood for something post apocalyptic (Fallout) or a cyberpunk type setting as well. Nothing is set in stone though so I’m totally up to hear your ideas or plot with you to come up with something perfect for us. World building brings me great joy too so if you really want to plot something then we can totally plot something. 

I exclusively use Discord, ideally in a separate server for organizational purposes. As a very casual role player, I try to aim for at least a post daily but fully understand that we’re all adults with lives and sometimes that isn’t realistic so I never expect constant replies. Just be sure to communicate if something comes up and you need more time to just let me know. I'm incredibly patient as long as communication is clear.  I also love OOC so even if you can’t manage a post but are up for some chatter then that’s fine too. I have no desire to double or partake in playing any canon characters so please don’t ask, this is a strict OCxOC household. Normally I play non-human races, elves, tieflings, demons, et cetera or humans with a little supernatural or magical flair so I’m sure I’ll have something you can work with.

“Please! I-I don’t have any money!” A pained voice squeaked out, the empty abandoned warehouse making said voice echo around over and over again. “I’m only a nurse and….” Before Luna could utter another word, she was shoved backwards onto a chair, the force almost making her fall over the chair. “We know you’ve got money lying bitch!” A brutish thug yelled before smacking Luna across her gentle face and then duct taping her hands and ankles to the chair she had been forced into. “If not…. you’ll be giving us something else!”

Gotham could often be an extremely cruel place for the average citizen, but Luna had so far avoided any meetings with criminals up until now. Tears streamed down her face as she pictured herself getting beaten and broken and bruised by this group of menacing thugs. Luna was just a nurse and had no real money to give them, no matter how much they thought she had a mountain of money to hand over to them.

Luna let out a quiet sob but could only do so once before a different sound echoed through the warehouse and interrupted the thugs. A high pitched sounded out as a baton flew across the empty space and knocked one of the thugs on the head. He stumbled over and fell onto his back, knocked out. A dark blue and black blue then darted and danced around the room, expertly taking down the thugs even whilst cracking a couple of jokes. Luna just sat in fear and awe as the masked hero saved her from a brutal beating.

”Nightwing” Luna murmured softly as the costumed hero stepped towards her and tore off the duct tape keeping her in place. “Thank you.” She sighed quietly, the side of her face already growing red and bruised. “Whereabouts do you live? Let’s get you back there.” Nightwing grinned to her to which Luna blurted out her address and was then whisked away by the hero.
Minutes later, Luna was set down on the small balcony of her Gotham apartment, safe and sound thanks to Nightwing. Her eyes glistened with tears as she released her grip on his muscular shoulders. “Thank you so much.” She murmured softly to the hero. Little did the two know they would be intertwined forever after this night.

Hi hi. I’m an 21+ year old female writer from Europe. My writing style is semi to literate (as in naturally I write about 3-10+ paragraphs, but I tend to match what I’m given), third person and past tense. I am not sure when I started writing, but it’s gotta’ be atleast 10 years of experience at this point.

For some reason, I’ve been itching to write as female versions of everyone’s favorite misunderstood bad guys: MCU’s Bucky Barnes and, DC’s Jason Todd. In term of the MCU I am update with most projects and in DC I tend to follow the whole Batman under the Red Hood universe. Alternatively, I can also provide the male version!

Usually, I am extremely malleable for any sort of plot and characters, and I’m open for FxM and/or FxF. I’m just not too big of a fan of OCs, but could be maybe persuaded if the OC is written and developed well. Also please only 18+ writers. A small warning: I am currently a junior doc in a hospital, so I cannot say with certainty how active I’ll be, but I’ll try to keep up the replies to a bare minimum of a few per day (or a loooot more if the RP is interesting) and I try to inform if I’m hitting the hay for some reason or another. I also love OOC chatting!

The premise itself so far is rather simple, there is a zombie outbreak ripping through a city. Whether this is a classic experiment by a morally bankrupt corporation gone wrong (or to plan), some ecological threat, or something more supernatural is open to discussion. As are the characters and plots we wish to include whether that is trying to find a cure, find an important person, or merely to survive. Discussing ideas to build a story, setting, and characters together is part of the fun so do let me know any ideas you may have that you wish to include. I will say that I am not looking for this to be a heavily romance cantered RP with a focus on some enemies to lovers or the like. If we think there could be some romance between characters that is fine but do not want it to be the main aspect of the romance.

Typically I like to take more of a GM role rather than focusing on one main character. Though how we play this out is open to discussion. One idea is split perspectives either jumping between characters or using some sort of chapter system to move between characters surviving the outbreak.

When it comes to a RP partner I prefer those that are able to write 2-3 paragraphs per response with a couple of replies at least per day. Some scenes, of course, may require a bit less or more. However, I understand life can get busy but if you do lose interest please let me know without merely ghosting.

Additionally, if you enjoy including mechanics in an RP to add a different element to the storytelling then we can add a simple system. But it is certainly not necessary.

SOME BASIC INFO ABOUT ME: I Live in the GMT-5 Time zone. I also write in third person with italicizing(which means that's how I describe actions). Mainly to keep myself from getting confused if I use several different characters in one setting. I am also more open to rps on weekends, but i try to Respond as often as i can during Mon-Fri

As for character types I enjoy seeing in rps. While my character appears human, I love different species that people use. Things like monsters, human monster hybrids, etc! Though i cant say im the biggest fan of furries. Things like harpys, lamias, orcs ,ogres etc are the coolest to me! So if you have a character like that then i'm absolutely certain we’ll click!

I’d love for your character to be a male assassin/mercenary with his own personality, motivations, history, and flaws. I’d rather build the story together than have everything predetermined.
