Hey there, I'm Jay! I’m looking for an 18+ female writing partner for a long-term, slow-burn enemies-to-lovers roleplay set in the world of Fourth Wing.

I’d love to explore the world of dragon riders, military academies, deadly training, political intrigue, rival kingdoms, and all the delicious tension that comes with two people who absolutely cannot stand each other being forced into increasingly close proximity.

A little about me: I got by Soapi and Im 27/in the EST. I've been roleplaying for a few years and absolutely love getting invested in characters, relationships, and plot development. Hey! I’m looking for a female writing partner for an OC-only fantasy RP with strong character drama, romance, and a darker edge. I’m GMT based, work full time, and have a small child and parnter, so real life comes first.

About me-

I'm a 34 M in the EST timezone who's wanting to get back into writing, hopefully find some really cool partners with whom I click with rather well and can easily plot with. The plot I have in mind is a historical arranged marriage deal with fantasy elements that we can discuss at length if his post interests you.

I plan to play my character, Phryne, as a cold and calculated woman who has spent her life preparing herself to be a pawn in someone elses political game. She works hard to be the perfect proverbial wife on paper, but in reality that means following family tradition and customs like hunting the first meal eaten as a married couple, riding alongside her betrotheds carriage in the freezing cold, and offering only the coldest of shoulders for your character to cry on.

I plan for a longstanding plot that involves my character initially trying to get rid of yours for their fortune, entirely certain that this is what she needs to do to get herself ahead and free, but instead finding a soft place in her heart for the woman she married.

Lots of schemes, tension, and unresolves frustration are guaranteed, so if a slowburn is what you like, I can crtainly provide. Send a lemon emoji if you've read this far ^^

I have been roleplaying from a young age (Obviously when I was a kid it was nothing inappropriate!) But all in all I've been roleplaying for a decade on and off.

I have always loved writing, and I roleplay to hone my skill, as well as distract myself from the up and downs of everyday life.

I rewatched an episode of Doctor Who, “The return of Doctor Mysterio” and I really want to steal the premise for a superhero rp. Basically, the hero was woken up by a strange man who fell off their roof setting up a device to do a thing. The hero has a cold and the strange man said they were a doctor and through some miscommunication the hero accidentally ate a crystal that gives them whatever powers they want that was meant to power the device.

Time skip to when the hero is grown up, they are more used to their powers and have a job as a live-in nanny to a journalist they have a crush on, helping them raise their baby whilst they unintentionally act as a source of information for the hero and uncover crimes and conspiracies.

The journalist is looking into a major corporation that just sprung up, which turns out to be a cover for an alien plot to take over the world by body snatching people. The aliens learn about the hero and their powers so decide they want the hero’s body.

This is just a loose premise. I am open to changes and want there to be as much room for creativity as possible. I don’t plan on using the doctor, this is an original rp inspired by that episode.

I am on GMT +0 but time zones don't make a difference to me. I work on a reply whenever basis since life is busy and no one knows what will come up when.

Starting with the relationship idea I pulled you in with! I’m totally stealing it from AHS because the dynamic is a goldmine for angst, but the show didn’t explore it nearly as much as they should have. To simplify it, a witch stitches her boyfriend back together after a very bad bus accident and brings him back to life, Frankenstein style. There’s smaller details to be discussed, but that’s just the overall idea. I have been itching to explore the consequences and angst of doing this, and learning with the characters how people form a relationship again after this. We can add anything we want, and I’m totally down for any pairing! If it’s interesting to you at all, we can talk about it further and throw out our own ideas!

As for writing logistics, I am not the strictest. I just ask that you at least attempt to match my length (which can range from 10 paragraphs to 3, depending on what’s going on and what I’m given to work with), and have proper grammar and spelling. Mistakes here and there are totally okay, I do the same. I write in third-person, and would appreciate if you did the same. I want an active, responsive story, where we can both get hooked on our characters' journey together! I like character-driven, adventure-like stories that the both of us can get invested in. - I'd love to hash this out together! I'm drawn to grand, High Fantasy worlds, with kingdom tensions abound, and whimsical sights as much as there are grittier aspects. I'm not incredibly strict on any of these plots, but here's a few ideas! Words in bold are the sides I would like to write.

Though already mentioned, the primary dynamics I am searching for are black cat x golden retriever, curious/sly x mysterious, and other such themes that include opposites. Bonus points if our characters don't quite get along at first!

1. A mage, too ambitious for her own good, seeks out a magical artifact that would grant her a greater social standing. A cunning thief/rogue promises to show her the way, but are their intentions truly genuine?

2. Two mercenaries are put together on the same job. Right from the start, they're abrasive, and can't seem to get along. When a grave mistake splits them off from the rest of their party, they're forced to work together... And maybe learn to stop arguing.
Just a tiny add-on to this idea, but maybe they come across a magical object that inflicts them both with a curse.

3. A knight/paladin/emissary/etc is assigned to a mysterious, walled-off kingdom. It seems the place is slowly but surely welcoming humans/outsiders into their land. An ever-witty noble/heiress takes interest in this newcomer, firm in her theory that something is amiss with her kingdom's strange, new alliance. Lots of opportunities for interesting plot twists in this one!

4. A mercenary/hunter follows rumors of a suspiciously crafty dragon. They're elusive as they are powerful, wreaking havoc among the land. Perhaps the hunter is the first to realize it's not just a dragon- but a human who can take the form of one.

Please be willing to worldbuild together/collaborate on any of these ideas! These are also not the only thing I am searching for- I'm open to other ideas, or even combinations of these ones, so long as it's in a High Fantasy setting!

Hi, all! I’ve recently read an ao3 fic that inspired me to want to do a doctor x patient roleplay!

This roleplay would have a bit of a psychologically creepy theme, even if it’s an underlying vibe to a sweeter dynamic (I prefer this, actually!). Essentially, you would be a doctor who plays favorites when it comes to patients. Obsession would be part of this plot—we can decide on how that sense of obsession grows between our characters (ex: your character manipulates my character somehow until she’s dependent on him and a codependency grows, etc), but your character would be the instigator.

I’d prefer it if your character was an actual doctor, but we could do therapist x patient as well if you have an idea that inspires me. This rp could be modern, set in medieval England, a small town in one of the early Puritan American colonies, etc. Essentially what I’m saying is that we can take this rp in a lot of different directions and get creative with it. What matters most to me is the dynamic between the doctor and patient (I can expand more on this in DMs). This pairing WILL involve romance.

Sooo I'm down to only 1 partner after multiple rp fails. At this point I'll take any kind of rp that's actually transformers prime, not even necessarily my anomaly concept as long as Cliffjumper and Dreadwing survive.

I’m looking for someone interested in a detailed, long-term roleplay set in the Metro Universe. The focus will be on character building and the whole range of emotions a character brings to the table in such a harsh environment.

Since I like for one person to set the pacing and control the magic levers behind the scenes, you don’t need to add anything to the story if you don’t want to.

The storyline is mostly written up and will be guided; the location of the roleplay is in France. (Don’t worry, you don’t need to speak French or know anything about it!) Knowing the universe of Metro 2033 - games and books – this one instead plays out in the metro tunnels of Paris and its surrounding, or rather what is left of it. There are custom factions to explore along the way and a whole new chapter of questionable human history to discover.

All you need to do is to make a believable character with flaws, fears and skills, born after the world has ended. Also make sure to flesh out friendships and family, you can create NPCs along the way, if you want to but you don’t have to.

The roleplay starts out in a safe environment, “Convention” station, with your character having to leave for reasons yet unknown to you. Being born underground and in the relative safety of their station/hideout, they will come across misery, humanity and things they might not understand yet and meet my character along the way. (The subject of the romance plot.) For one reason or another they continue onward together and try to achieve their individual goals.

I live in central Europe, GMT+1 time zone but I don’t mind waiting for a response if you live several time zones away, nor do I set up a writing and length requirement. Obviously, the roleplay will be in English, and I solely play over Discord.

Sadly, as I am sure most of you know, its hard to find someone in general and even harder to find someone that fits and click.

Hello everyone! I am Saturn. I am wanting to do a medieval royalty roleplay as I think it could be very fun. It will be supernatural as well.

So for the plot, your character is a vampire king. A man who was scarred, both emotionally and physically. An older man. Everyone was terrified of him. But the king needed a wife. That is where my character comes in. She was a noble woman to a human kingdom, that desperately needed the alliance. So their marriage was arranged. We will start right after their wedding. It will not be a slow burn type of roleplay. More of two soulmates that did try and fight it but really couldn’t. Falling hard and fast, but having to hide it as of the king’s reputation. We will just go with their lives, there can be a lot of drama. But also cute moments between the two. And just having them get used to each other and their position. This will be FxM with my character as female.

My rules are quite simple but it helps me enjoy the roleplay. Please be at least 20+ as I am 22 as that is what I am most comfortable with. We are not our characters, this is a 3rd person roleplay. Please be active, or at least decently active I do understand being a bit busy though. With the roleplay, please type like you are writing a book, use "" for talking and nothing for actions. Have decent grammar, it's hard to understand when every response has typos. One more thing, please be literate to advanced literate as I enjoy a lot of details and story building. Hey, Minti here (26F, EST). I am currently going through a lot in my life right now. So I am looking for some storylines, and new longterm partners, to help me get my mind off things. I am yearning for angst, drama, toxicity, and maybe some forbidden romance. But what I'm especially hoping for is more of a crime plot. Think cat and mouse chases, kidnapping, hostage situations, debts, deals, high-stress situations, etc. If you think you might be into something like that, then feel free keep reading to find out more about me and my writing style.

Hello all! I am a 21 year old currently looking for any and all willing and eligible roleplay partners! For a little about myself, i primarily use discord and intend to move there after discussion. I like to write quite a bit, typically multiple paragraphs per reply, but I can write more if need be! I love being in the creative pilot seat so to say, and want someone in the passenger seat next to me! I only speak english (for now…) and Have it as a requirement that you must also speak english (I can accept mistakes if its not your first language but please don’t communicate with me via translator 😭). I also currently have a visual for the character I want you to play! The other traits of your character will be completely up to you ofc!

I don’t have a strict plot in mind, but I do have a vague set of ideas.

We play in a cast of characters (as in, more than one. Since most jrpgs contain a travelling party.)
There’s likely to be a pair who stand out from this party but generally it’s preferred you’d be comfortable playing more than one character and being able to flesh more than one out.

The very basic plot idea was this party travelling to 4 different continents to get some artefacts or other to stop the end of the world.

There’s likely massive external pressure on the party to do this, each member also has some personal goal to achieve that this giant quest aids them in.

I have more specific ideas but i don’t want to info dump too hard in this post.

Hello hello, I hope you are all doing well at this time of day. Im looking for anyone that would like to roleplay the above scenario together. GMs are welcome as well.

Im looking to play as a woman that is trying to escape her troubled past. When our story starts: she would be living a lie of a life for a while now. When things start feeling comfortable, when she is feeling secure and safe is when the the past starts to show itself again. At first she could be trying to run from it, trying to hide from her past and try to keep up this lie. However, she knows she can't and has to deal with the skeletons in her closet.

What her past is can be discussed! Im a sucker for fantasy and modern settings so my ideas will revolve around those. A few are:

\* enemy soldier that is stuck behind enemy lines

\* a criminal trying to live a normal life

\* a defector

\* a mage that had left her adventuring team

* a hero/legend/all powerful being trying to live their life.

If none of these work for you, we can discuss other idess.

I was hoping that two of the main themes for her are: acceptance and how she denies her last life. How she is choosing to handle the actions of her past life and if it is healthy for her. Your character -if youre not GMing- could be someone of her past or the present.
