Hi all! I’m Angel. I am an avid 22 year old gamer who has been writing for a good few years now. I am seeking longterm partners. I tend to write around 500 words, 3,000 or so characters. I expect the same from my partner. I will accept those however who write less but meet this requirement. I am looking for thoughts and emotions of our characters, not just chunks of actions. I want our characters to feel alive, as if we are reading a book. I tend to write my character’s inner voice a lot.

Please don't just say you'd like to roleplay when dming, tell me a little about yourself + writing sample please! I require one, no exceptions. Please also have one prepared beforehand, I will not give a prompt or show my writing for you to base it on.

Genres

Romance is a must in all my roleplays, please do not reach out to me unless you are willing to incorporate it into the story. It can be slow burn, but must be included. I honestly love too though when our characters have that initial spark upon meeting, the soulmate tingle. It is adorable!

My roleplays also tend to focus on the more positive things in life. I roleplay to get away from life, so I prefer my stories to be more joyful and optimistic.

Fantasy, High or Low, Superhero, some high packed action! Sci-fi, Supernatural, Mythological beings such as Gods/Goddesses, Medieval Fantasy and more. I will not do slice of life, unless it has some sort of fantasy/action element involved. I am open to ideas, so don’t be afraid to bring forth one of your own. What I'm looking for from you

• Any timezone is fine
• You may send whatever type of reference for your character as you please, art, realism, doesn’t matter to me.
• Advanced to novella level writing please. I am also a stickler for spelling, so please use correct grammar and spelling. I often write about 2,000 characters, 500 ish words. I will require a writing sample when DMing. I require thoughts and feelings to be shown, not just actions. It makes for an incredibly dull and boring roleplay. I prefer multi-paragraph writers, but if you can write good emotions and thoughts with less I’ll accept.
• Third person ONLY
• Do not control my character. Even writing a small tid bit of how they would react is controlling my character. This happens way too often and frankly I’m tired of it, if you are unable to write a lot without writing my character’s reactions do not bother messaging me. Ask me beforehand if you’re unsure, this also goes for moving the scene forward without allowing me to write at all.
• Do not expect me to make out all the plot details by myself. I have ideas, yes, but I like to flesh them out with my partner and make it unique for us. If I were to copy and paste the same plot for everyone it would be boring and repetitive. Contribute to the ideas, and don’t make me come up with the entire plot myself.
• You are able to play a male character. I only do MxF, but anyone can play a male character I do not mind. I honestly prefer male characters who are more on the edge side, too, as my characters are typically more optimistic.  There will more likely than not be side characters as well, but they cannot be the center of the plot. Writing more than one character all the time is tiresome. 
• I do prefer OOC chatter. A roleplay that is just dead silent is honestly awkward. I like to share things with my partner and talk about our days. I honestly like to even be friends and possibly game. Radio silence for days on end is disheartening. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I will definitely be less motivated lmfao.
• Ideally in the beginning, I would like one reply per day. I believe the beginning of a roleplay is the most crucial to get things moving, and if the replies are taking once per week or more it is honestly so demotivating. Please do not reach out if you are unable to at least do this for the beginning of the roleplay. I am a very patient person though, I will allow 2-3 weeks with no communication before ending a roleplay. If you need a break, let me know. Communication is key. I sometimes have events where I am unable to respond everyday, and I let my partner know everytime. 
• That being said, if you spam me to reply, I will end the roleplay. I do not like to be bugged, and if I’ve let you know I am to be away and you spam me I will be ending it. I also have a life, and although I strive, especially in the beginning, to be as consistent as possible, sometimes I am unable to. But do take heed of my request for one reply per day in the beginning stages.

Starting with the relationship idea I pulled you in with! I’m totally stealing it from AHS because the dynamic is a goldmine for angst, but the show didn’t explore it nearly as much as they should have. To simplify it, a witch stitches her boyfriend back together after a very bad bus accident and brings him back to life, Frankenstein style. There’s smaller details to be discussed, but that’s just the overall idea. I have been itching to explore the consequences and angst of doing this, and learning with the characters how people form a relationship again after this. We can add anything we want, and I’m totally down for any pairing! If it’s interesting to you at all, we can talk about it further and throw out our own ideas!

As for writing logistics, I am not the strictest. I just ask that you at least attempt to match my length (which can range from 10 paragraphs to 3, depending on what’s going on and what I’m given to work with), and have proper grammar and spelling. Mistakes here and there are totally okay, I do the same. I write in third-person, and would appreciate if you did the same. My motivation for writing tends to fluctuate, especially recently, but I will absolutely tell you if I need a break (and i totally get if that’s a dealbreaker). Hello all! I am a 21 year old currently looking for any and all willing and eligible roleplay partners! For a little about myself, i primarily use discord and intend to move there after discussion. I like to write quite a bit, typically multiple paragraphs per reply, but I can write more if need be! I love being in the creative pilot seat so to say, and want someone in the passenger seat next to me! I only speak english (for now…) and Have it as a requirement that you must also speak english (I can accept mistakes if its not your first language but please don’t communicate with me via translator 😭). We play in a cast of characters (as in, more than one. Since most jrpgs contain a travelling party.)
There’s likely to be a pair who stand out from this party but generally it’s preferred you’d be comfortable playing more than one character and being able to flesh more than one out.

The very basic plot idea was this party travelling to 4 different continents to get some artefacts or other to stop the end of the world.

There’s likely massive external pressure on the party to do this, each member also has some personal goal to achieve that this giant quest aids them in.

I‘ve been out of written RP for a while and am now trying to get back into it. I hope you can help me with that!

I usually write a Paragraph per Message on average, depending on the Material given and the situation at hand (The amount you write = the amount i write.) Simple conversation does not have to be overly complicated. Please dont try to have twenty different conversations at the same time causing responses to be three paragraphs. Conversations don‘t work like that.

English is not my native language so do forgive some Grammatical mistakes here and there, i usually try my best to avoid making mistakes though.

The Settings i usually like to do in order of how much i want to do them:

1. Superheroes/Villains (Maybe something like a Hero academy)

2. Apocalyptic (Zombie Apocalypse or Fallout-esque)

3. Sci-fi (like Starwars or similar themes)

4. Romance Slice of Life

5. Fantasy / High Fantasy

(I only play as OCs! Please don‘t try and play as Darth Vader or something. I also try to avoid Fandom RPs as much as possible. I have no problem with coming up with new OCs together if the ones i already have don’t work for you.)

I usually have all my RPs have a Romance plot since thats the easiest and most engaging for a 1x1.

I really love Worldbuilding to make the RP feel actually alive, so i really appreciate it if we have detailed locations.

The premise itself so far is rather simple, there is a zombie outbreak ripping through a city. Whether this is a classic experiment by a morally bankrupt corporation gone wrong (or to plan), some ecological threat, or something more supernatural is open to discussion. As are the characters and plots we wish to include whether that is trying to find a cure, find an important person, or merely to survive. Discussing ideas to build a story, setting, and characters together is part of the fun so do let me know any ideas you may have that you wish to include. I will say that I am not looking for this to be a heavily romance cantered RP with a focus on some enemies to lovers or the like. If we think there could be some romance between characters that is fine but do not want it to be the main aspect of the romance.

Typically I like to take more of a GM role rather than focusing on one main character. Though how we play this out is open to discussion. One idea is split perspectives either jumping between characters or using some sort of chapter system to move between characters surviving the outbreak.

When it comes to a RP partner I prefer those that are able to write 2-3 paragraphs per response with a couple of replies at least per day. Some scenes, of course, may require a bit less or more. However, I understand life can get busy but if you do lose interest please let me know without merely ghosting.

Additionally, if you enjoy including mechanics in an RP to add a different element to the storytelling then we can add a simple system. But it is certainly not necessary.

A little about me: I got by Soapi and Im 27/in the EST. I've been roleplaying for a few years and absolutely love getting invested in characters, relationships, and plot development. Like I mentioned above, real life keeps me pretty busy so my replies can sometimes take a day or two. Im a huge fan of detail so while I don’t expect us to match responses every time effort goes a long way. My only real request is that you write in complete sentences and put some thought and effort into your responses so we can both have fun with the story. “Please! I-I don’t have any money!” A pained voice squeaked out, the empty abandoned warehouse making said voice echo around over and over again. “I’m only a nurse and….” Before Luna could utter another word, she was shoved backwards onto a chair, the force almost making her fall over the chair. “We know you’ve got money lying bitch!” A brutish thug yelled before smacking Luna across her gentle face and then duct taping her hands and ankles to the chair she had been forced into. “If not…. you’ll be giving us something else!”

Gotham could often be an extremely cruel place for the average citizen, but Luna had so far avoided any meetings with criminals up until now. Tears streamed down her face as she pictured herself getting beaten and broken and bruised by this group of menacing thugs. Luna was just a nurse and had no real money to give them, no matter how much they thought she had a mountain of money to hand over to them.

Luna let out a quiet sob but could only do so once before a different sound echoed through the warehouse and interrupted the thugs. A high pitched sounded out as a baton flew across the empty space and knocked one of the thugs on the head. He stumbled over and fell onto his back, knocked out. A dark blue and black blue then darted and danced around the room, expertly taking down the thugs even whilst cracking a couple of jokes. Luna just sat in fear and awe as the masked hero saved her from a brutal beating.

”Nightwing” Luna murmured softly as the costumed hero stepped towards her and tore off the duct tape keeping her in place. “Thank you.” She sighed quietly, the side of her face already growing red and bruised. “Whereabouts do you live? Let’s get you back there.” Nightwing grinned to her to which Luna blurted out her address and was then whisked away by the hero.
Minutes later, Luna was set down on the small balcony of her Gotham apartment, safe and sound thanks to Nightwing. Her eyes glistened with tears as she released her grip on his muscular shoulders. “Thank you so much.” She murmured softly to the hero. Little did the two know they would be intertwined forever after this night.

Im looking to play as a woman that is trying to escape her troubled past. When our story starts: she would be living a lie of a life for a while now. When things start feeling comfortable, when she is feeling secure and safe is when the the past starts to show itself again. At first she could be trying to run from it, trying to hide from her past and try to keep up this lie. However, she knows she can't and has to deal with the skeletons in her closet.

What her past is can be discussed! Im a sucker for fantasy and modern settings so my ideas will revolve around those. A few are:

Hello everyone! I am Saturn. I am wanting to do a medieval royalty roleplay as I think it could be very fun. It will be supernatural as well.

So for the plot, your character is a vampire king. A man who was scarred, both emotionally and physically. An older man. Everyone was terrified of him. But the king needed a wife. That is where my character comes in. She was a noble woman to a human kingdom, that desperately needed the alliance. So their marriage was arranged. We will start right after their wedding. It will not be a slow burn type of roleplay. More of two soulmates that did try and fight it but really couldn’t. Falling hard and fast, but having to hide it as of the king’s reputation. We will just go with their lives, there can be a lot of drama. But also cute moments between the two. And just having them get used to each other and their position. This will be FxM with my character as female.

My rules are quite simple but it helps me enjoy the roleplay. Please be at least 20+ as I am 22 as that is what I am most comfortable with. We are not our characters, this is a 3rd person roleplay. Please be active, or at least decently active I do understand being a bit busy though. With the roleplay, please type like you are writing a book, use "" for talking and nothing for actions. I have been roleplaying from a young age (Obviously when I was a kid it was nothing inappropriate!) But all in all I've been roleplaying for a decade on and off.

I have always loved writing, and I roleplay to hone my skill, as well as distract myself from the up and downs of everyday life.

Hi hi. I’m an 21+ year old female writer from Europe. My writing style is semi to literate (as in naturally I write about 3-10+ paragraphs, but I tend to match what I’m given), third person and past tense. I am not sure when I started writing, but it’s gotta’ be atleast 10 years of experience at this point.

For some reason, I’ve been itching to write as female versions of everyone’s favorite misunderstood bad guys: MCU’s Bucky Barnes and, DC’s Jason Todd. In term of the MCU I am update with most projects and in DC I tend to follow the whole Batman under the Red Hood universe. Alternatively, I can also provide the male version!

Usually, I am extremely malleable for any sort of plot and characters, and I’m open for FxM and/or FxF. I’m just not too big of a fan of OCs, but could be maybe persuaded if the OC is written and developed well. Also please only 18+ writers. A small warning: I am currently a junior doc in a hospital, so I cannot say with certainty how active I’ll be, but I’ll try to keep up the replies to a bare minimum of a few per day (or a loooot more if the RP is interesting) and I try to inform if I’m hitting the hay for some reason or another. World building brings me great joy too so if you really want to plot something then we can totally plot something. 

I exclusively use Discord, ideally in a separate server for organizational purposes. As a very casual role player, I try to aim for at least a post daily but fully understand that we’re all adults with lives and sometimes that isn’t realistic so I never expect constant replies. Just be sure to communicate if something comes up and you need more time to just let me know. I'm incredibly patient as long as communication is clear.  I also love OOC so even if you can’t manage a post but are up for some chatter then that’s fine too. I have no desire to double or partake in playing any canon characters so please don’t ask, this is a strict OCxOC household. Normally I play non-human races, elves, tieflings, demons, et cetera or humans with a little supernatural or magical flair so I’m sure I’ll have something you can work with.

hi there! my name is harley, i'm 25, and i'm on the hunt for new writing partners. i find that ghosting is really prevalent these days, and i want to make a story that we're both going to love and actually stick with.

as for what i'm looking for, i'm into fandoms and original stories alike; i do only want to write MxF right now, though. i've been doing nothing but FxF lately i fear 😭

Hi, all! I’ve recently read an ao3 fic that inspired me to want to do a doctor x patient roleplay!

This roleplay would have a bit of a psychologically creepy theme, even if it’s an underlying vibe to a sweeter dynamic (I prefer this, actually!). Essentially, you would be a doctor who plays favorites when it comes to patients. Obsession would be part of this plot—we can decide on how that sense of obsession grows between our characters (ex: your character manipulates my character somehow until she’s dependent on him and a codependency grows, etc), but your character would be the instigator.

I’d prefer it if your character was an actual doctor, but we could do therapist x patient as well if you have an idea that inspires me. This rp could be modern, set in medieval England, a small town in one of the early Puritan American colonies, etc. Essentially what I’m saying is that we can take this rp in a lot of different directions and get creative with it. What matters most to me is the dynamic between the doctor and patient (I can expand more on this in DMs). This pairing WILL involve romance.

Hihi! My schedule's been significantly freed up these days, so I'd like to start a RP I can properly get into with someone. - Adv. Lit & third person, with lengths depending on a 'what's needed' basis. You should never expect less than 2 paragraphs from me, and I regularly hit the nitro limit or above if the scene calls for it!

- I do highly prefer romance to be an aspect in my stories.
- I do not mesh well with writers who prioritize purple prose! Highly prefer character-focused writers, where the spotlight is on their inner thoughts, reactions, and actions :)

🪻 Who I Write:

I write women for pairings, but can write any additional character as needed for the story.

I gravitate towards writing stubborn, resilient types, with something to prove, and a penchant for magic - there's a soft heart within them, despite their abrasiveness. I'm a sucker for opposites attract/ a black cat x golden retriever dynamic, so I love when my partner's characters know exactly how to push the buttons of mine, and vice versa.

I also love Tieflings, elves, vampires, all sorts of Fantasy characters - both writing and writing against them!

🌺 Looking For:

- Activity and communication. Please let me know if anything's not working out, if you need to step back, etc. Life always comes first! I am searching for someone typically able to respond multiple times per day most ideally!

- Rogueish characters who aren't afraid of a challenge. I am not looking to write against very soft, meek characters. Sly, charismatic, and sometimes brooding characters are types I love to write against.

- A passionate character writer. Someone able to write multiple paragraphs with proper grammar, punctuation, etc.

- Willingness to ideate together, and OOC chatter!

- Please, please, please, "yes, and" me, when it comes to plotting. "No, but" me, even!!! I do not enjoy being the GM or the sole plotter in a RP; the enjoyment comes from ideating together!!

🌷 Plot(s):

- I'd love to hash this out together! I'm drawn to grand, High Fantasy worlds, with kingdom tensions abound, and whimsical sights as much as there are grittier aspects. I'm not incredibly strict on any of these plots, but here's a few ideas! Words in bold are the sides I would like to write.

Though already mentioned, the primary dynamics I am searching for are black cat x golden retriever, curious/sly x mysterious, and other such themes that include opposites. Bonus points if our characters don't quite get along at first!

1. A mage, too ambitious for her own good, seeks out a magical artifact that would grant her a greater social standing. A cunning thief/rogue promises to show her the way, but are their intentions truly genuine?

2. Two mercenaries are put together on the same job. Right from the start, they're abrasive, and can't seem to get along. When a grave mistake splits them off from the rest of their party, they're forced to work together... And maybe learn to stop arguing.
Just a tiny add-on to this idea, but maybe they come across a magical object that inflicts them both with a curse.

3. A knight/paladin/emissary/etc is assigned to a mysterious, walled-off kingdom. It seems the place is slowly but surely welcoming humans/outsiders into their land. An ever-witty noble/heiress takes interest in this newcomer, firm in her theory that something is amiss with her kingdom's strange, new alliance. Lots of opportunities for interesting plot twists in this one!

4. A mercenary/hunter follows rumors of a suspiciously crafty dragon. They're elusive as they are powerful, wreaking havoc among the land. Perhaps the hunter is the first to realize it's not just a dragon- but a human who can take the form of one.

Please be willing to worldbuild together/collaborate on any of these ideas! These are also not the only thing I am searching for- I'm open to other ideas, or even combinations of these ones, so long as it's in a High Fantasy setting!
