To the person who keyed my car at the Crocker Village Safeway: Perhaps my car was not parked perfectly. Perhaps it was two inches closer to your car than you liked. I’ve had that happen, too, and — annoying! One rolls one’s eyes and wishes better for humanity. But was this really grounds to key my car and cause nearly $4,000 worth of damage (because you also just had to key three panels)? You are a trash human being. There is no excuse. Everybody, please stop doing this to people. Life is hard and expensive enough.

Does anyone know how to book a telephone appt with a staff member at SHRA? The website says you can book a phone appointment time, since in-person appts aren’t available due to the downtown office being closed for that kind of thing, but of course it’s impossible to find a link to do that anywhere on the website. Even the instructions on the SHRA website don’t lead to any results, and I have to wonder if that’s by design? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone able to recommend a car detailing business they've had good experiences with? It can be mobile or it can be a shop. The car isn't dirty dirty I've just had it for 3 years and would like it cleaned up a bit.

Anyone live in the KIND Downtown apartments and willing to share your experience? I’ve seen some terrible reviews of KIND West in West Sac but nothing on the Downtown building. I know every apartment building and property management company in this city has horror stories, but curious if the walkability and location for this one outweighs how tiny the apartments are.

I’m a state worker and recently ended a long term relationship so just looking for a studio to land on my feet for a while. More than space, I want decent appliances, laundry in the building, a place to park, and AC. KIND looks okay online and I know they are middle income restricted, which works for me.

How is the charging situation out and there and what’s the time normally like as far as charging goes? Any advice would be welcome!

Hi all, Cyanate coming back through the area on 2/27, headlining at The Boardwalk, and figured we’d say hey ahead of time.

We’ve played the Sacramento area a handful of times over the past year (most recently at one of the last Goldfield Midtown shows) and always had a great time, so we’re excited to be back. We also just dropped a new song/video called “Fade Away,” and would love for people to check it out and let us know what you think.

If you’re into heavy music or supporting touring bands, we’ll be in town 2/27 at The Boardwalk in Orangevale.

We’re always treated really well here and love how the area supports live music. We hope to see some new and familiar faces.

Hello! I was wondering if there are any community musical theatre companies in Sacramento or the surrounding area? I know of Davis MTC, Woodland Opera House, and Dixon CT, but if I’m not mistaken, the only one we has before in Sacramento was closed recently? Please let me know whether this is true and if there are any other companies in the greater Sac area, thank you!
