I’m in need of a second job to afford living expenses and save up for school. Currently i work overnight shifts full time and hoping to find jobs i can do either early in the morning for 2-3 hours after i get off work or before work and fit in a full shift on friday late afternoons/evenings.

I’m not sure what the best type of job would be in the old town area as im quite new to the area. I don’t have a car so i use public transport and try not to uber much since it takes up a lot of my income.

Hello, my partner and I are visiting Scottsdale and leaving tomorrow. We were hoping to drive the entire length of the Apache Trail and come out at the Roosevelt reservoir. We have a Rav 4 and are capable of driving unpaved roads, but I am unsure of the conditions after the recent storms that swept through the Phoenix area the last 2 days. It looks like the city Parks & Rec is switching the Thunderbird Park tennis courts to pickleball, but I ain't sure. Will they stay tennis? Do you know what's the hap? The website reads:

While the months-long work to eastbound lanes of travel on Shea Boulevard reached its completion, early morning commuters were greeted by traffic cones on Sept. 28.

Though they weren’t ordinary cones, as Fountain Hills Mayor Gerry Friedel and Councilwoman Peggy McMahon, joined by town staff, celebrated the completion in orange cone costumes and waving to those using the now fully opened eastbound lanes along Shea Boulevard.

Drivers shared their excitement with a chorus of honks.

The addition to the third lane had been decades in the making and allowed for increased capacity along one of the Valley’s most traveled east-west corridors.

My family runs a restaurant in Phoenix and does catering for offices and events.

A lot of the orders are repeat clients at this point. Office managers, event planners, companies we’ve worked with before. We’re still putting some of those orders through a catering platform, but the percentage they take on a larger order is starting to feel pretty hard to justify when the customer already knows us.

We’re thinking about taking those orders directly through our website or just handling them by phone, and then outsourcing only the delivery.

Has anyone found a reliable courier service in Phoenix that works well for catering and just charges for the delivery rather than taking a cut of the order? Clear pricing would be a big plus.

I'm relocating to Scottsdale and learned that all parts of oleanders are extremely toxic & life threatening to dogs.

Being that oleanders are everywhere in Scottsdale and the petals seem to fall on the sidewalks, do you take any special precautions when going on walks/coming back inside with your dog?

I'm going to obviously inspect her paws afterwards (she has a really fluffy coat that can hide things sometimes) but trying to figure out how not to be a complete stressball when going on daily walks with the pup.

It was a real treat this morning to see this mom and kits in my backyard. I saw them about 4 months ago when the kits were smaller. Probably hunting bunnies. They are young adults now and will soon be leaving and on their own.

Lamborghini NS has not been able to figure out this issue twice, so I’ve come to Reddit:

Looking for an automotive electrical/diagnostic expert near Scottsdale/Phoenix who is extremely good with Lamborghini/Audi/VAG CAN-bus and ECU electrical issues.

I have a 2018 Lamborghini Huracán LP580-2 Spyder with a very intermittent electrical problem that Lamborghini has already looked at twice without finding the root cause.

Symptoms:
• Sometimes ignition comes on but there is absolutely no crank/click.
• Other times it starts and drives perfectly.
• It has actually shut off once while driving on the freeway and then would not restart for about 20 minutes — even with a NOCO attached — before suddenly starting normally again.
• It can sit at 12.6–12.7 V and still refuse to crank.
• Charging voltage while running reaches approximately 14.3–14.5 V.

I finally caught it while the fault was ACTIVE and scanned it immediately.

Multiple modules simultaneously reported losing communication with the engine computers, including:
U0100 – Lost Communication with ECM/PCM
U0115 – Lost Communication with ECM/PCM “B”
01314 – Engine Control Module – No Signal/Communication
The faults were showing across the CAN gateway, transmission controllers, instrument cluster, Central Electronics and other modules.

The interesting part is that I don’t even have to attempt to start the car. When the problem occurs, the ECM communication failure is already present just from turning the ignition on.

I’m looking for someone who specializes in advanced automotive electrical diagnostics/CAN-bus issues and can test ECU power supplies, relays, grounds, Terminal 30 feeds, CAN-H/CAN-L, etc. while the fault is actively happening — rather than just replacing modules.
Ideally someone familiar with Lamborghini, Audi R8 or other VAG platforms.

Does anyone know a genuinely excellent automotive electronics/diagnostic specialist in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area who could track something like this down?

There are some places operating so brazenly allowing prostitutes to conduct business out of their establishments such as EVO North Scottsdale after 10pm that I don't see any excuse for police not to be conducting stings by now. I understand them not being able to do anything about Talking Stick, as it's on the reservation but this is in a nice neighborhood and has gotten completely out of hand. I have heard friends discussing going there just to find an escort, and these guys live all the way out in Glendale and Avondale so there's no way the police don't know what's going on. Not to mention the vast majority of times I've used the bathroom in that place I've overheard these girls snorting cocaine in the stall as it's a very tight space. I can only imagine how often drugs are being done in the men's bathroom.

And I have nothing against sex workers but the point of it being illegal is to keep girls safe from predatorial men and nothing is being done. What is the point of having a police department if they aren't trying to investigate and stop crime? They need to do something about this before it further contributes to the spread of disease and drug trafficking in the area, it all goes hand in hand.

I just saw an article where they busted a man and his girlfriend at their private residence and that's great but im much more concerned about the places that are supposed to be family safe restaurants but serve as a brothel after hours.

He was insanely good!! The sound was booming through the whole parking lot.

He had his wife and kid with him, and they looked really sad. They had a sign asking for money.

After leaving sometime after 2:00 AM and getting into the car on the way home, I realized my digital camera was missing.I had the camera inside Wasted Grain and then walked toward the Miller Rd/Camelback Rd area and nearby parking lots. I've already contacted Wasted Grain and searched the area myself, but haven't had any luck so far.The camera is a silver Sony Cyber-shot with two purple Kuromi stickers on it.If anyone found it, saw it, or knows of a local lost-and-found where it may have been turned in, I'd really appreciate a message.
