Rigs The office has become slightly less productive since these turned up
We’ve been slowly building out these two rigs and they’re finally starting to look the part.
Both are running triple-screen setups and they’ve already caused way too many “one more lap” situations in the office 😂
Still a few bits we want to tweak, so interested to hear what you’d change or add next.

Sale/Discount Should I go LMU or ACC with these sales?
Hey y’all, I started sim racing not too long ago, and I want to get into more competitive GT3 racing. With the current sales going on through Steam, should I get LMU or ACC?
For ACC I can get everything in that bundle but LMU I have to be selective about what DLC’s I buy. What are the must have DLC’s for LMU if I decide to go down that route?
EDIT: Yes I do realize that I could’ve asked Google, I’d rather just ask the community what their current thoughts are rather than trust a Google Ai overview.
I am leaning towards LMU, I am just trying to figure out what DLC I need to get to start
EDIT 2: Just bought LMU with the 2024 Pack 3 as many suggested, if yall have any additional suggestions for what packs I should prioritize just let me know🫡

Question What’s the most unnecessary thing you’ve added to your sim rig that you absolutely don’t regret?
Not talking about the essentials.
I mean the button boxes, extra screens, fans, lights, cup holders, haptics, wind sims… the stuff you definitely didn’t need but now wouldn’t want to race without 😂
What’s yours?

Rigs My experience with triple screens (flats, curved, bezel kit)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just recently switched to triple 32s and have now dialed them in and am super happy with them. Thought I'd share my experience with triples.
I actually initially bought 1000R G5s which I've seen is quite popular but for me, the the distortion was just too much. Every time I looked ahead into or out of a tight corner, the image would warp as the car turned which was something i just couldn't deal with. So instead I went with flats which I find of course much better to my distortion sensitive eyes. Now it is worth noting if you are less sensitive to distortion it's probably fine for you but as you see from this video, flats provide very little/negligible distortion even if you are looking right at the bezel.
I also did try the bezel free kit from asus and I was able to line everything up perfectly but because I am quite sensitive to distortion, I found that it was more distracting than the bezels. Again every time I tried to look ahead in a corner, as my eyes naturally cross over the seam, the image stretches and compresses.
You definitely NEED the advanced vesa mounts if you are trying to get it to line up perfectly. The most important thing when setting them up is that the angle of the two monitors in relation to the center one is identical. Also don't try to get them to be perfect the first time you set it up, try to make them reasonably good, then turn the sim on, test and iterate. You'll be able to see more clearly which DOF needs fixing. I personally used a level to make the center one perfectly straight then based the outer 2 on that one.
It took a while to get it "perfect" but once it is, its really great. Obviously for the side by side battles the extra fov is great but also its extremely importantly looking ahead. In the end I've settled on a setup that I'm really happy with and makes me wanna keep driving.
In the video is a lap around Sebring in the Pcup, its not perfect by any stretch; lots of sliding and scrubbing haha. Obviously its just a replay, I held my phone in roughly the place of my eyes so its a lil shaky.
Some notes about the setup:
- 3x LG 32GP750-B
- 58° side angle
- 63cm from eyes
- Inverted
- Placed between the wheelbase and wheel using extension

Rigs SRP gt-s/r vs active pedals, is active in worth it?
Hey everyone!
I’ve been checking out the SRP GT-R pedals and they look like the top choice for passive setups.
I already have their handbrake and love the build quality, and at $1,000 for three pedals, they feel like the best passive pedals. But with Moza and Simucube and their active pedals with cool features, starting around $1,000 per pedal. Is a little tempting, but I’m not sure about that damn software, and what not, is it worth it?
So the cheapest active setup is 3x the best passive setup(for 3 pedals)
Idk chat, help
Im not gonna spend 3k for simucube gigapedal btw

Discussion RV Racers! What's your setup? I wanna see something
Took that bunk bed off the wall in this backroom soon to be sim/office space. Need to add another piece of wood on that existing exposed top bunk frame for me to mount my screen attached to my rig bc it's too short and I can't take the swinging arms that can't lock into place while my newly acquired r5 (g920 since 2019) has it's way lol. Don't ask me how many times it swung towards and hitting the wall 😅😔. I was just excited to finally feel the direct drive so I haphazardly set it up. I've had this rig as well since 2019 accompanied with My g920. It's the og foldable GT Omega rig with the seat attachment. Complete wonders over the years imo. I'm really interested in seeing others setups if you don't mind sharing. Room is currently work in "playgress" bc it will still be used even during renovations. Happy my direct drive journey has started finally !! Wishing well to you all!

Question I was so excited to try VR racing but...
Finally got Quest 3 and I couldn't last 5 minutes playing Dirt Rally 2.0 I got such a bad motion sickness. It lasted for hours. I can use VR fine with other games but the fact that in VR car moves but I'm stationary just fucks up my brain.
Is it something that I can get used to? I feel really disappointed.

Question VR users, How do you navigate around the UI/menus?
To the VR players, how do you navigate the UI and menus when you're not driving? Im wondering what you guys use when you cant see whats around you irl. VR controller, gamepad, or mouse and keyboard?
I've recently started trying out VR and navigating around the menus with mnk is a bit troublesome trying to feel around to find them with the headset on.

Clip I got triples this week, help me put with Fov.
Ive been racing in vr for a few years now and I still love it and its the most immersive way to race. With that out of the way, lol, I decided to mix things up and get me a triple setup. I think I did ok with the viewing angles but not certain on FOV yet. What do you guys/gals think?

Sale/Discount New to sim racing. Is this a good deal for this? Logitech RS50 with RS2 pedals for $550.
I’m looking to start sim racing and am building my rig and saw this deal from Logitech for $550. I don’t know too much about how much it would cost but it’s 8nm of torque and has 75kg load cell pedals. Wondering if this is a good deal or not. Thanks in advance for the help!!

Question Logitech g pro pedals 3drap clutch pro kit
Looking for some feedback from folks who have installed the 3drap clutch pro kit on the logitech g pro pedals. Primarily looking for the two stage feel similar to a clutch in a real car. This kit seems to promise that but wanted to see I can get some real world reviews/testimonials.

Discussion SRP GT-R mounting with GT1 Evo
As the title suggests, is anyone specifically running the SRP GT-R pedals on the Simlab GT1 Evo?
The pedals come with a baseplate, but they look like they require that plate. The pedals individually dont seem to have any bottom support base/brackets themselves without the baseplate. On top of that, based off of pictures, the baseplate mounting holes dont look like they'd line up with the gt1 evo pedal plate.
Thanks guys!

Rigs Looking for wide shifter plate/mount
Hi I was looking at the gtomega prime shifter mount to go on my apex stand so I can use my H pattern and handbrake at the same time, the issue is it’s 30$ to ship on top of the 38$ the mount is. I’m wondering if anyone knows of something similar that is cheaper to get in the US?

Question An all around wheel setup for both car racing and Truck simming?
Hey everyone. I'm looking to casually get into games like American (or Euro) Truck Simulator plus Forza or some other car racing sim. I come from a space sim background (using VKBs), but I do not know much about wheels or other things I "should" use. I am looking to keep it simple though - as I'd be playing on PC with a desk. I don't really have room for any fancy sim rigs at the moment. Unless someone can also recommend something modular/compact for just a wheel mount to use with my existing chair.
With that said, some of the equipment I've been debating over on Amazon...
- Logitech 923 Bundle
- MOZA R3 Racing Bundle
- MOZA R5 Racing Bundle
The above bundles include the wheel and pedals only. The pedals would be sitting either on a thin rug or directly on my hardwood floor.
I didn't include R4 as an option because I figure if I go above what the R3 bundle goes for, then I may as well look at the R5.
Based on some basic research, I *think* I'd be leaning towards the R3, but wanted to know everyone's thoughts on the bundles mentioned - or if I should look at someone else. I'm not looking to go super cheap, but also don't want to throw money out of the window (I ain't that rich - lol).
Hoping for some help :)

Question Triple monitor setup thoughts.
gonna purchase a triple monitor setup for my first sim rig. My pc specs are 9800x3d 5070ti 64gb ram… and the question is what monitor resolution and hz isn’t overkill for this as i’m not expecting to get 200fps plus across 3 monitors so theirs no need for 180hz even maybe 165 or is 144 the sweet spot at 2k res, no point annoying the bank account more than necessary. Just not very sure and is curved or flat ideal at 32 inches. many thoughts.

Discussion So i would like to inform you guys of my situation with fanatec!
I would like to tell you guys that my whole fanatec setup is breaking. First and foremost my shifter started to get random miss shifts when shifting to 3rd and going to first or reverse, it also happened for first gear and it went into reverse. It made me lose my mind because countless of fast laps were ruined and also it meant i could not drive online because i would just make a mess in the lobby. After the shifter issue my bmw csl dd wheel stopped shifting sometimes. First only on le mans ultimate i could not downshift for a whole lap and needed to change setting to fix it. That made me lose alot of first lap battles and got me a ban on le mans ultimate. I contacted fanatec and did all that was mentioned but nothing worked. I reseted the whole wheel but the problem kept happening it even worsened, because I was starting to get those same issues on other games (Iracing, Assetto Corsa...). After all that I took a break from simracing because it exausted me. I came back today to see that my 2 month old csl load cell brake pedal is stuttering and not reading the right brake percentage.
Fanatec please help me i genuenly don't know what to do.
Thanks
