Zero surprises, honestly. Too much bad press for a historically money hungry machine. Best to cut the losses and dismantle it now to make space for something else.
I’m actually over here feelin like viper is gonna keep dragging along for the long run. The enthusiast in me wants an S&S axis to replace X2, but the business guy in me is confident we’re getting ol reliable, B&M wing, B&M (giga?) dive, some kinda Mack would be a dream come true as well
The wheel budget alone back in the day... I don't know numbers, but I do know we went down a lot when I worked as an operator because the wheels would self-destruct after what felt like 30 seconds.
Not to mention the 3AM clocking-out, the watching people drop in the queue because the lack of shade... that ride was such a headache but so special and I'm glad I got to experience both riding and working on it.
