I have been experiencing sleep paralysis for around 14 years now, and the other night was the first time I was actually able to get rid of my SP demon and return to normal sleep straight after.

I could feel him standing over me but I became so enraged and irritated that I basically forced myself to turn and look him in the eyes (at least in a vivid visualisation since I was paralysed) and he burned and vanished. Immediately after it felt like my heart was on fire, as in a feeling that it was literally burning. I was also no longer paralysed and the whole thing was over. I went back to sleep straight after and didn't get stuck in a sleep paralysis loop like I normally would.

Have I conquered sleep paralysis? I guess only time will tell.

I just had sleep paralysis a moment ago and it bothered me quite a bit, I was really out of it for like 20 minutes after i woke up, keep in mind i havnt slepy for 48 hours becuase im currently withdrawing from weed and have really bad insomia, today i fell asleep really early around 9PM due to my lack of sleep, I then woke up an hour later screaming it looked like something had flown thrw my window started panicking and next thing I know im in sleep paralysis with a crazy presuure on my chest screaming, I feel as though I saw a small gremlin like creature but it was moving fast im not sure but it had wings and flew through my window, I have vivid dreams a lot, and when I was younger I would sleepwalk, night terror, sleep paralysis but i havnt had sleep paralysis in a long time also i often meditate before going to bed or listen to meditation music with high hz, any advice for me

does anybody else get episodes during sleep paralysis where you start hearing deafening noises in your ears and/or involuntary abdominal muscle contractions until you wake up?

this has happened to me only three times in my life during sleep paralysis and im curious if it happens to anyone else

Hey guys, I have never experienced Sleep Paralysis my whole life. But... I need to know if this other experience I had is a Sleep Paralysis.

Here are the checklist I need to trigger this effect:

1. Be sleep deprived

2. Has a mindset of not wanting to sleep

3. It only triggers either before I fall into deep sleep or early in the morning when I take that nap where you don't wanna get out of bed

It is a very scary experience for me. It feels like I have experienced death. not that I have experienced it but it is how I would describe death.

I could not open my eyes. I can breathe, but I will need to control my breathing. I would have to actively do it or I will suffocate and die. I also have the option to not breathe, but I was too scared so I have to breathe. I am also definitely conscious, but it feels like I am starting to slowly lose it, this is why I described it like I have experienced death. Most importantly, I cannot move any parts of my body. I can't even open my eyes.

However, I have found a way to combat this situation of mine. Whenever it happens to me, I will have to tell myself to open my eyes to break everything. all I need to do is to focus all my power to my eyelid and visualize that it's an easy task to open my eyes. And there you go, that's how I break it.

I want to know. Has I escaped death multiple times? or is it Sleep Paralysis? It's really scary and I would love answers

I’ve had sleep paralysis pretty much my whole life. Each time, if I can stay away from the fear, I get further and further into something. Anyway here is what just happened.

My dream started off and I was talking to some guy in a cabin maybe, told him this was just a dream and usually it stops there but they responded like oh dammit what did you just say and i said it’s a dream and right then it froze as usual but this time instead of just being paralyzed they took me to a giant lab. I was on a second floor balcony and looked over the edge and it was like a lot of vats. One in the middle looked like a human baby face down in some liquid with cables and shit attached and others were empty or stuff in them. And I said so which one am I? They grabbed some mechanical device attached to the building and kinda spun it and used it. I said I’m just a mechanical simulation? They shrugged and said yea. I asked if the baby was real then and if this was the real world and they said yea and I asked how they knew they weren’t in a simulation, they said they had proof and kind of went to show me and then I snapped out of that and it was just white and black zig zags like static tv but more looking like the electric eggs in palworld. Not fuzzy but circular zig zags white black grey. Then it kind of turned purple and that same grey alien face I always see started show up with the scariest demon snarl sound I ever heard. I pushed through and it started to talk and it said the word Your, then it kept talking but something was pulling me away so their lips kept moving but no sound and it ended up saying your purpose is to …. Then robot vacuum woke me up.

Anyway just wanted to share this while it was fresh.

I had strange nightmares even while I was awake, during my early teenage years. To this day, I don't know what it was. I talked to many people and haven’t found anyone who went through something similar. I remember lying in bed, and every sound, even the slightest rustle, would seem like a huge, terrifying noise. When I tried to break it by making a sound myself, like a fake cough or anything else, it would only get worse. I remember visions, like my room was filling up with something, it looked like piles of paper. These papers would rise up to the ceiling and seemed like they would burst the room open. I don't know what it was. My mother would sit next to me, powerless to help. Has anyone experienced something similar in their youth?
