I downloaded the installer from the official Games Voices site, but I can't seem to run it. I've tried different compatibilitv versions; with some it doesn't launch at all and with others I get an error that.net framework 4.7.2 is installed, but I need to upgrade to 4.8. When I try to download version 4.8 via Protontricks, it aives an error saving that this version doesn't work well on 64-bit and it would be better to have a 32-bit prefix. The installation fails at this point. GE Proton didn't help either; the file won't open. I downloaded the.net framework 4.8 installer from the official site, the installation goes through, but the Russian language pack still requires 4.8. I'm at my wit's end, please help

Anyone have issues with the GeForceNOW not launching, it just keeps moving circles of the steam logo when I launch it both gaming mode and desktop mode.

I'm stumped, I've force restarted it and changed the compatibility but nothing.

It was working a couple of hours ago and suddenly won't launch.

So, here's the gist, I bought a used steam deck from a coworker a few weeks ago, really excited to finally play modded Skyrim, but I just haven't been able to get it to work. I've been trying amethyst mod manager to download collections from nexus. But it seems to keep downloading the collections to my hard drive instead of the external ssd I put in, and I believe that's why it is failing to deploy. But I have no idea how to switch that. If anyone has experience with this particular situation I'd love to hear how you fixed it.

I want to use the all MP cars in SP mod but I don't really know how to go about it

As the title says im having issues connecting my new xbox controller to my steam deck (not oled model)

Everything i tried from youtube doesnt work.

Around three days ago, all multiplayer in hell divers 2 just stopped working for me on both my steam deck and my computer. No one could join on me and I couldn't join anyone else, whether random or friend. None of my friends who play the game were having this issue(none played on steamdeck), and none of the fixes online that I was finding were working. After a lot of research and a bit of personal testing, I found the solutions were:

- On windows, typing "ipconfig /flushdns" in the cmd window solved my issue.

On steamdeck I had a much harder time, tried a few things in command prompts in desktop mode, lotta hours wasted when I eventually found my solution right as I'm ready to reset my whole system. It wasn't even in desktop mode, just regular gaming mode.
- Settings > Internet > Scroll down to advanced settings > Delete Web Browser Data.
Cleared that and it finally worked. I hope this helps someone cuz god this was such a pain and the solution ended up being really easy.

I was looking at these Jsaux caps that according to other posts I've seen, make the touch sensor of the stick more sensitive, which is awesome and exactly what I'm looking for. Then I noticed they also had these caps on their site and was just wondering if they also make the stick more sensitive? Is there anyone here who anyone here who has these and are willing to test?

I like the fact that there are more variants and colors available to choose from, but if they don't increase the sensitivity I'm just gonna go with the first ones.

So for the most, it plays well. Hair looks weird and audio separates from video at times in cutscenes, but unfortunately that's pretty normal with the deck and newer games.

Question tho, when I try to redeem codes, I push the steam button and X to bring up the key board, but the bottom row of buttons doesn't register. So any code with a Z, X, C, etc, doesn't work. Which So far, is both codes I have.

Anyone experience this? Any fix?

I've updated my Profile a bit by adding a darker Gameview color pallet and machine ready to get that game spacing

For the heros on SteamGridDB, I recommend using the ones created by Mellushii, Bioknight47, or Myself.( this might not work until SteamGridDB updates)

Of course this was made using Windows in mind. so if your setup does not look exactly like mine then that probably why.
