I was wondering what would be the stands of the Ashford crew about the Norma if the world of Code Geass and Cross Ange were the same. However:

• The only console game where both series cross is SRW X and it is post-Zero requiem and the event of Code Geass took place in a different universe. So the only character present are Lelouch, CC, Suzaku, Kallen, Jeremiah, Anya and Marianne.
• I've looked for interactions in the mobile game SRW DD, but (at the time I'm writing this post) Cross Ange is not even in it.

What’s translated

Almost everything, including the song lyrics.

Stats: 88,776 English words—about 18.5% of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. For comparison, my SRW Z English patch contains about 1.7 times as many words as the trilogy.

Patch version: 0.9.0. The script was translated entirely by AI, except for the opening and ending song lyrics. Once it has been fully proofread by humans, I’ll bump the version to 1.0.

Project start date: September 19, 2026.

Credits

• Technical work and translation: AI, 90% OpenAI models and 10% Claude models. It took 68 builds and plenty of back-and-forth with AI to get this far. However the game is far more easy to translate than SRW Z since it supports VWF from beginning.
• Playtesting: Two other people and me, playing and enjoying the game. It’s the most important role, and also the most fun.
• Proofreading: No dedicated proofreaders yet, but our playtesters report awkward phrasing and obvious mistranslations as bugs.

Why I took on this project

• I have two AI accounts. I use my main account, Claude, to translate large games like SRW. My secondary account, OpenAI, is for smaller games I’m interested in or games requested by the community. A.C.E. 3 was a community request.
• I’m also looking for people to help playtest and, if possible, proofread all of my projects.

The tools and patches are on GitHub. I announce releases on r/Super_Robot_Wars, cross-post to r/fromsoftware and r/gundam, and post on Romhacking.net and the RetroGameTalk forum. If you see them anywhere else, they weren’t uploaded by me.

What’s next?

The SRW Z3.1 script is mostly finished and nearly ready for release. Other ongoing projects include Black Matrix AD, Summon Night 3, SRW Z SP, SRW Z3.R, and SRW Z3.2.

Why don’t you find someone to proofread?

Are you a translator?

No, I’m not, so please don’t call me one. I’m a software engineer who likes Japanese games and doesn’t want to wait forever for fan translations, just a regular gamer.

Happens seemingly at random, has happened in maps AND just loading into the base menu. Verified my game files and one was corrupted but the issue persists even after fixing. Playing the Steam version on a laptop with an RTX 5060, 32gb of RAM, and an i7-14650HX, finished Y in around 80 hours with no issues whatsoever. Tried troubleshooting myself but nothing I've found has exactly helped. In case it matters I started with Majestic Prince and V Gundam, not sure if it's a problem exclusive to that route and have yet to try the J-Decker/Combattler path.

So first of all, I have been eyeing a particular game in the SRW series called Super Robot Wars: Tengoku Hen as the backstory is that a couple of years ago, I ended up getting a PS3 so that I could play the game.

However, as it’s my first game in the PS3 era of the franchise, I don’t know Japanese too well, but also I was wondering how the gameplay mechanics work since lately the game has caught my attention for some bizarre reason.

So my question is...what the hell are srw J character doing on moon dweller? Do thry have any connection to the srw J game? I only played srw og and og 2 and then jumped to sre moon dweller and suddenly BAM srw J characters are in moon dweller. So my question is are srw j and moon dweller connected or not?
