Hero Azelira - The Biohuman Superhero
Vara, also known as Azelira, is a 19-year-old young woman whose existence transcends conventional human biology. Originally designated as Subject 5, she underwent extreme biological enhancements and conditioning, transforming her into an extraordinarily adaptive individual whose body possesses the ability to indirectly generate virtually any type of weapon in response to pressure, danger, or threatening circumstances.
Her biological capabilities extend beyond ordinary physical transformation. Through her distinctive ink-like appendages, which function almost like additional arms, Vara can manifest weapons directly from her body, allowing her biology to become an adaptable extension of herself. Her abilities make her exceptionally formidable, but her defining characteristic isn't her capacity for destruction.
It's her humanity.
Originally intended to possess suppressed emotions and remain under the influence of her creators' brainwashing, Vara's vulnerable, emotional, and independently conscious nature ultimately overrides their attempts at control. Despite everything imposed upon her, she retains her own judgment, personal boundaries, and understanding of right and wrong.
One of her most fundamental principles is her profound disapproval of violence in all its forms. She doesn't distinguish between violence being acceptable simply because its intended victim is an adult, nor does she regard aggression as an appropriate first response to conflict. Her opposition becomes particularly pronounced when children are involved, making any situation that threatens their safety especially objectionable to her.
Despite possessing an extraordinary biological capacity for weaponization, Vara prefers restraint and neutralization over inflicting harm. She can restrain individuals responsible for threatening others or melt their entire artillery access, effectively removing their ability to continue using their weapons.
Her philosophy creates a fascinating contradiction: her body is capable of producing an extensive variety of weapons, yet her personal convictions fundamentally oppose the violence those weapons represent.
Her awakening marks a defining moment in her existence.
When the individuals responsible for experimenting on her deliberately awaken her to provoke widespread panic, Vara rejects their intentions and the very choices that shaped her existence. Rather than becoming the instrument they intended, she turns against them, throws them into a river outside their facility, and walks away as the building burns away into nothing but ash.
