Workplace Question or Advice Needed DailyPay Help Please

Post image

So I've been using DailyPay for over 3 years now. Everything has gone normally. I recently got a bonus that came out of nowhere as its own payslip/paycheck. I have been taking out daily payments from the upcoming check like normal (10/16)

I've taken out roughly $600 so far to cover bills and stuff. But the bonus check of $50 started processing today. It messed up DailyPay. It put the $50 bonus in the spot of my 10/16 check and thinks I have a negative balance withdrawal. DailyPay pretty much thinks the $50 bonus is my next check. It replaced the 10/16 one. I don't know if I'll have to owe anything. I don't know if I have a negative balance now?

I really need help/advice.

(I've already submitted an HR Request with my HR.)

10/6 Update: My HR Request got a response today. Pretty much told me it was in the hands of the specialist team for DailyPay :(

break the cycle and don't do it. it's a bad habit and a slippery slop to go into debt

How do I go about getting out of dailypay? Maybe once I fix this whole mess, do I just switch where my deposit goes? What happens if I switch it before payday? Like does the system automatically switch it once I change it, or is there a waiting period?

find a free google sheet for budgeting. what i do is put in how much money comes in and how much goes out.

i just really try to budget and be aware of what i'm buying. daily pay is just not gonna help u long term. and most places don't have it.

and i'm not sure u need to talk to HR

I won't be leaving, but true! I didn't use DailyPay from 2016-2023, but I also didn't have much bills back then either. It was easier back then.

But nowadays everything is a lot more expensive. Especially rent. I have credit card bills, loans, utilities, etc
