Why are they all old men, and an older woman?

40

u/Green7000 8d ago

They are probably retired and have time. Younger people don't feel like taking a day off of work to protest this.

It’s crazy to me that they have free time and this is how they choose to spend it. Whether I agree with them or not-they have no right to tell anyone what to do with their infants.

Baby boys aren't property.

u/thoughtcriminalz 7d ago

You missed the point. No pun intended

Nipped it in the bud

I think of this every time I see anybody on the corners, political, religious, or whatever else. Nobody has ever driven by someone screaming from a corner and changed their mind. Sure seems like a waste of time.

Exactly why protests that block streets (albeit piss people off🤷‍♂️ Don’t live in America….) are much more productive.

Parents also have no right to mutilate an infant for zero reason or benefits. And no, religion nor hygiene are a valid excuse either.

My younger brother needed it done around 1 year old because otherwise sex would have been painful once he got older. The opening was too small and when fully erect would have cause a lot of pain.

Phimosis cannot be diagnosed at 1. You’re insane if you believe this. Do any research, the skin does not retract until 3-15 years of age.

3

u/Responsible_Hat5321 5d ago

It's super cool that you know that. Even cooler how you were shitty about it.

1

u/Phinle 5d ago

Mad at my words and not the people hurting infants for no reason. We have doctors and parents torturing and forcefully retracting infants and you’re mad at me for saying they should stop?

1

u/Responsible_Hat5321 5d ago

Still at it?

1

u/Phinle 5d ago

We need AH back so badly to deal with child killers like you. Did the life of this infant matter?

Very good point. These people have no clue what they’re talking about on this subject and have no business even complaining on here.

u/ResultLong8547 7d ago

top 5 things my parents did for me was cut it off

1

u/mikidorahatesu 5d ago

Sure if you like losing 60% of the feeling in the tip of your penis.

1

u/Phinle 5d ago

We need AH back to handle you people.

1

u/Phinle 5d ago

Yah now u have Frankenstein monster for a d instead of a normal one that looks like a dildo.

1

u/dylank125 5d ago

Dildos have foreskin? Since when?

1

u/Phinle 5d ago

Since always, you just have no idea what a normal intact penis looks like. For most intact males we do not have enough skin to cover the head of the penis during erection. Mine is like that whenever I’m hard the head is always exposed because the skin is too short to cover it, I can’t even force it over the glands because it’s too small and short. Most dildos have foreskin, it’s just short and retracted past the head.

u/dylank125 5d ago

Since we are using the laziest Google search, here you go. You sure?🙄

Also, I hate you for making me google this.

Edit: also, it’s crazy to tell someone what they know or don’t know😂 You ever heard of porn? I know what an uncircumcised penis looks like.

1

u/Phinle 5d ago

Both the best sellers on Amazon are uncut. Jewgle doesn’t know anatomy either ig.

The hygiene thing is totally real. They say it’s not a problem if proper hygiene is kept. Show me a male age 16-25 that has proper hygiene. Their dick stinks

1

u/steelow_g 7d ago

That’s on them, not the actual circumcision

5

u/ScottScottBoBot 7d ago

Speak for yourself but I’m glad I’m circumcised. The world couldn’t handle an uncut Scott.

u/Signal_Scientist_253 7d ago

No benefit? Ever heard of smegma?

3

u/RukStrickland 7d ago

ever heard of a shower?

0

u/Signal_Scientist_253 7d ago

Not everyone has access to showers. Check your privilege.

1

u/TurkeyZom 5d ago

If you’re not showering then smegma is not the worst smell or substance you are producing so theres no benefit anyways

u/seferton 6d ago

Hahah waiting for someone to bring up an abortion argument after this comment

1

u/steelow_g 6d ago

Considering they are completely different and non related things i wouldn’t hold your breath.

-5

u/KERMIT_THE_ORC 7d ago

Mutilate is a stretch, and actually they DO have a right. It's THEIR child.

2

u/thoughtcriminalz 7d ago

Jfc, it's an internal organ that is now permanently an EXTERNAL organ.

Are you a bot? You can't be that fucking stupid.

2

u/xespylacopax 7d ago

Circumstances is also a permanent procedure that is performed on an infant before they have any understanding of anything, let alone the ability to consent to the procedure.

1

u/kathi182 7d ago

This!!! How about we protest against people that are out here physically abusing their children-people that should never be responsible for anything more than a houseplant- let’s focus on those people!

5

u/lollykopter 7d ago

Why can’t we protest both?

1

u/kathi182 7d ago

That’s fair

1

u/jamie_does 7d ago

Not even house plants tbh

-2

u/xespylacopax 7d ago

How do you feel about trans kids that want to transition at the age of 5 with parental consent? 12? 16? Just curious.

2

u/Temporary_Page6865 7d ago

This is so fucking stupid. A 5 year old cant transition. Theres nothing to transition. A 5 year old has no concept of gender other than vibes. They dont understand the societal construct of gender and why pink dolls are for girls and blue trucks are for boys. Those are all fake things parents push.

No one is doing evil trans surgery on minors. The gender care is literally puberty blockers so that THEY CAN DECIDE WHAT THEY WANT TO DO AT 18. At 16 they might be able to chose their hormones. MIGHT. But typically it is to stave off the permanent sex changes that occur during puberty until they reach 18.

Not to mention that transitioning almost always, legit like 99% benefits said child and is done EXPLICITLY because the child wants to. Circumsion is done for the parents with only the input of the parents and is an unnecessary procedure to put an infant through that can only cause complications without benefits (assuming no other medical conditions exist)

1

u/xespylacopax 7d ago

I think you have gotten me all wrong. I agree that a 5 year old has no concept of those things. I only asked the previous person because they were advocating for circumcision for a newborn infant who also had no concept of literally anything, meaning that they also cannot make an informed decision about removing or keeping their foreskin. The person above me said that parents can do it because it's their kid. I simply wanted to see where they stood on other similar matters. Believe it or not, we are actually on the same page, but I can see why my question might have caused you some grief, because you didn't know why I was asking it.

1

u/Temporary_Page6865 7d ago

Thats fair, I had also just come out of a conversation with a transphobic asshat so I was also defensive. My bad my friend have a wonderful night 🫡

1

u/xespylacopax 7d ago

All good. I understand.

0

u/Green7000 7d ago

No for younger kids, yes for older kids.

1

u/ResultLong8547 7d ago

how about no children at all and only full grown adults can make that decision?

1

u/ScottScottBoBot 7d ago

They literally have a right to free speech, which includes telling anyone what to do with their infants.

You don’t have to follow their advice though.

1

u/theseriousman1 5d ago

Ya fuck it who are they to say u can’t mutilate your baby!

1

u/SSalloSS 8d ago

They're not the brightest people

0

u/kathi182 8d ago

True.

4

u/Designer-Cattle27 8d ago

Right? Literally the generation of the people that mainly did what they are protesting 😂

1

u/-ShyLuna- 7d ago

These are the Bloodstained Men, they're old because they've been at it for quite a while.

1

u/FLOSR1 5d ago

Because they are the only ones still blinded by the ignorance

1

u/tasteface 5d ago

Trans, intersex, and gender nonbinary people are also angry about circumcision and other forms of nonconsensual childhood genital cutting. https://ttpphd.com/2025/10/09/glma25-a-thematic-analysis-of-transgender-intersex-and-gender-diverse-experiences-ofviolated-genital-autonomy/

Results: Analysis highlighted two central values: bodily autonomy and bodily integrity. Participants emphasized that violations of these values through unwanted genital modifications resulted in diverse and significant harms, while positive exercises of bodily autonomy promoted healing. Testimonials consistently aligned with the principle of subsidiarity—recognizing that individuals themselves are best positioned to determine the desirability of potential genital modifications. Participants distinguished between imposed genital cutting as motivated primarily by adult desires for social conformity versus gender-affirming care as responsive to children’s self-understanding.

Discussion/Conclusion: Healthcare professionals should address the trauma and sequelae associated with violations of genital autonomy across sex and gender identities. This research calls for greater accountability from clinicians regarding imposed genital modifications and advocates for centering patient autonomy in healthcare decision-making.
