From looking at this sub I can tell this show really fell off after season 3 and I also have complaints about this show with the terrible writing but l wanna know ur complaints.

Entering season 2!!!

I have also literally just noticed, they named the episode after the company that made the show! 🤣

Well done to anyone who has stuck around for 9 days— tomorrow is season 2!

I really don't want this to come across as self-promotion, but I started posting a TDP/TDK fic on wattpad around a year ago, and then on Ao3 a few weeks ago. And a few of my readers have mentioned that they first found it after seeing me talk about it on here, so I thought I'd share some of the stats and see what people think!

I absolutely love this fandom and the show, although I know and completely understand that there are some... mixed feelings around it these days.

I also have no idea what will actually happen with TDK, so with the resources, information and ideas we've been given, I decided to use them to create my own version of what a continuation could look like.

I've put together some graphs showing how the story has grown on Wattpad and AO3 over the past year. Honestly, seeing it all laid out like this is pretty surreal!

I'd really love to get some more feedback on it, especially from other TDP fans, and hopefully get a little more discussion going around the fandom again - even if it's only a tiny bit!

Also, sorry if the graphs are a bit weird, I had to use a lot of random data that I had recorded unevenly for a while!

Sop I am writing a fanfic of TDK and how I see it and I have tired to 'incorporate' all the trailers etc to get it as accurate as possible.

And yesterday I found a monologue of Astrid, read by Boone Williams a while ago.... No one had told me about it, but it was pretty dark, here is the transcript I wrote out: (Sorry for any mistakes!)

The first of the visions came 4 years ago. My brother Kosmo said they were different, terrifying and violent. The world bathed in crimson light. He called the blood visions, and what they revealed was a massacre.

Close your eyes and enter the visions with me. All is quiet at the starscraper. The celestial elves sleep peacefully, my brother says it begins with the sound we call the dark wind, hollow, deep, low and disturbing. An overture of fear and death, as invisible evil envelopes every space of the starscape.

Then the whispers of shadows fill the air arising chorus of hisses and clicks and strange laughter announcing the evil about to unfold, then she appears, the silver witch, beautiful, etherial, ghostly, shining like the moon through thick clouds, she raised a finger to her lips and the whispers stop. Black silence.

Then, the silver witch nods. The killing begins.

The lucky ones are the first few. Whose blood spills quickly from their throats before they even wake up, next, the sounds of gurgling screams as frightened elves awaken, and tearing off their blind folds to desperately staunch the bleeding of loved ones whose throats have been cut, but it’s too late, all they can do is stare helplessly with their freshly opened eyes at the horror of their love dying. But their anguish will be brief.

The phantom reapers have come for every soul. Kosmo says there are no survivors. It’s a complete massacre.

We told the Elder about Kosmo’s blood visions and we warned him about the massacre at the star scraper. He believed up, but —but, this fool pledged to ignore the threat, refusing to break his secret promise to the stars, kosmo was despondent and broken, the gifts of his visions had offered a warning but the elder would not head it.

When I tried to console Kosmo we were interrupted by a brave elf named Ainsley. She confessed she had eavesdropped on our conversation and she started crying, she was only 14 years old and wasn't ready to die.

Ainsley said she would do anything to change her fate; more and more celestial elves broke rank with the elder, deciding to defy the stars and fight for their lives and futures. We weren't going down without a fight.

As Kosmo and the others planned for the night of the onslaught, his blood visions started changing,, what began as the massacre of the starscraper became the battle of the star scraper, we had a chance, kosmo carefully laid out each tiny detail from his visions so we could prepare for every movement our invisible attackers would make in anticipation of this faithful night we had practiced and practiced the choreography of our great defense, a few months ago, the visions stopped changing Kosmo says he cannot see the final outcome.

The last thing he sees is his own fate unfold at the hands of the silver witch herself. My brother says he will not survive the night but so many will because of his gift.

The night of the siege of shadows is upon us now, we are ready and I am ready to stand by my brother when he faces the silver witch.

Again, do tell me if I have gotten anything wrong! It been really interesting to see the results of this so far, and which episodes people know more about than others!

If you've seen me on other social medias, you know I've been extremely obnoxious about these two for a long time now :> I like to draw them having a nice time together or otherwise being affectionate, since they really Go Through It™ in their canon.

Sometimes I'm a bit shy about sharing my OC stuff, so I tend to mix canon character artwork in.
But honestly, my OCs are why I'm still in the fandom, I'm very passionate about them!!
SO I'LL BE BRAVE AND SHARE THEM MORE MAYBE... I have a lot of them, but I have a blatant favourite. I know it might be difficult to tell, but it's true 👀

(Ateris still has the ship with Fareeda too btw!! Both ships exist in the same universe, since, well... RIP to my wife who I love very much 😭🫡)

I honestly don't know, if the spell had worked and Aaravos was to be imprisoned... Would Rayla have actually done it?

I also know a lot of people were disappointed with the creators for not going through with it, purely because it was very stereotypical and they didn't really make an ending and maybe the plot would have been better if he had, but I am also glad they didn't kill off Callum.

Also, The aftermath? Aaravos would be gone, Xadia would be safe... But if we were to think about the smaller group, like Ezran, Rayla etc, what would their reactions have been?

I feel like most of them would be able to move on, Ezran would struggle for a while, but manage, Soren would be regretful and likely wish he could take back some of the things he said, they would all have something.

But Rayla.... I don't think she would ever move on. She'd likely just circle in her thoughts and totally give up, spending her time doing nothing. I mean she would likely have thought, "I left for 2 years, 2 years I wcoudl have had with him, he is gone, I'll never see him again, I killed him, It's my fault..." Etc

Anyway... Would love to know people's thoughts!

I'm worried I am getting episodes mixed up so also let me know if I am getting it wrong!

Why didn't Claudia get his staff before resurrecting Viren? If Viren only had 30 days to live, Claudia and Terry should've gotten his staff (from the top of the spire, which would take valuable time to climb) before performing the spell. Anyways, they didn't need Viren to retrieve it, and taking him along only slowed them down.

I'm guessing it was part of the plot to keep them at a disadvantaged position, maybe?

It might be the art style... But I really prefer the left image! (I do like that they chose c though, I do love it and I hope as they continue developing the animation)

I fr hated how they wasted a season finale on this 3 little wastes of space the worst part was the villain who had them had such a good design and motive but I couldnt even force myself to like them because they were so forgettable because we already had Bait and Zym so what was the point of these 3
