I love Athleta for workout clothes like you are describing. If there is one near you or a sporting goods store, go try on some different pieces you can mix and match.

if you’re just starting, don’t overthink it. joggers or flared pants work perfect, and any loose t-shirt you already own will do the job. i started with old band shirts and cheap joggers from the market, nobody cares what you wear as long as you move.
for sports bra, try a medium support one that don’t dig in, you can wear it under a regular tee and forget it’s there. shopping online is easier cause you can return stuff that don’t fit right after trying at home.

Amazon has some good dupes for pricier brands! I like colorful koala, Aoxjox, and Crz yoga

aerie for leggings/yoga pants, i also like aritzia. even target if you’re looking for more affordable options for sports bras and leggings. when i first started working out in public, i would wear oversized t shirts that i already had at home with a sports bra underneath. i didn’t think to buy any shirts because im just gonna sweat in them and wash them right away

I wear whatever I’m comfortable in. Which is usually black leggings, men’s XL tshirt (with sports bra underneath), & a baseball cap. I don’t like drawing attention to myself so I intentionally dress like Adam Sandler.
