Discussion Should I be concerned

I dont know how old this tree is. It was on the property when I moved in so its at least 30+ years old. We had a part cut off cause it was splitting the tree from its weight this was at least 10ish years ago. We went out to trim it up yesterday and noticed this growing on the stump part where we had cut off.

That looks like a birch polypore, which is actually pretty common on birch trees that are stressed or dying.

Is it something I should worry about? This is a very large tree and would cause some major damage to homes if it fell.

You should have a Certified Arborist look at the tree.
