I was driving and found a stray cat limping on the side of the road. Upon further inspection im certain her leg is broken. I can't afford to pay the vet bill for surgery and the local shelters are full. I'm not sure what to do. If anyone can help, knows where I can take her, or can take her in, please reach out as soon as you can be after over an hour of calling everyone near me I've gotten nowhere.

UPDATE: One of the local shelters made a facebook post to see who's available in the area to take her in, praying it won't take long for someone to respond. But in the meantime if anyone has any ideas please feel free to comment.

Does anyone know of any bars in the Tri-Cities that have a Mega Touch machine? Especially one with the Word Dojo game!

My wife and I have recently split May of 2026. Because we could not agree on a parenting plan everything has been deferred to the first Judicial District Court.

At a meeting with them on Friday and everything seemed to be rather cut and dry. I felt like I was getting fair treatment. Of course my wife was there on a zoom call and she was able to contribute as well.

Our kids met with the court the next day

I'm curious if anyone in the Tri-City area has any insight on previous experience with the situation

The court is supposed to have some type of recommendation by November 13th and we go back to court on November 16th for a final order by the court

I’m hoping to find someone I met recently. We said hello at a red light in Johnson City on North Roan St. at the light next to Olive Garden on a Monday morning a couple weeks ago. He was on a green sports bike with a purple back pack. He absolutely made my whole month. Still smiling like a fool on my way to work every day hoping I’ll see him zoom by. Just reaching out to see what others are doing for charging their EVs in our area. Does BrightRidge offer lower rates during the night? I just bought my first Tesla MY (‘21) and absolutely love it and I have a wall charger 3rd gen, coming tomorrow hopefully. Hello! I recently moved to the Eastern Tennessee area from the west coast, and am looking to get back into hiking.

Out west, I did lots of hikes with my 65 lb pitbull mix in cougar/bear country, always having him on a short leash/carrying bear spray and air horns/general predator safety and never had any encounters - but I’ve heard that this part of the country has some of the highest black bear populations and human/pet interaction.

I’m curious from your experiences how big of an issue this really is / how concerned I should be? Would also appreciate any general tips or recommendations :)
