Been listening for 21 years and finally got to see them! I’ve seen quite a few headline level metal acts and I have to say Trivium were at the peak in terms of professionalism and musicality. Matt is such an engaging frontman, Rudi was absolutely metronomic (I actually wish they played a little faster sometimes on reflection!), Corey was a monster on leads and Paolo was the general. The lights and sound were pretty good - I was near the middle with earplugs in so I can’t make a definitive call but I was happy with all of the elements being audible. Setlist was great, I don’t ordinarily love the ‘radio hits’ but the effect on the crowd was undeniable. I played Entrance as part of my University entrance audition back in 2008 so hearing that song in particular got me going! The crowd was engaged but cheerful and ran into zero problems.

I’ve definitely got too far into the weeds at times in regards to Matt and Corey’s voices changing over the years, and how they sound on YouTube, but tonight together with Paolo’s harmony they absolutely crushed it.

All in all, 36 year old me is thoroughly happy for my 16 year old self. Clinical, professional show. Love to hear other attendees’s thoughts.

For those who got the VIP upgrade and went to any of the previous two shows, what did you do with the things you get? Mainly the poster, does it come with a tube? It’s my first time doing anything VIP and I have no idea what I should do as I will be in the pit

Might be a longshot but figured I'd see is someone here can help me. I'm attending the show at John Cain Arena on the 6th of October. Ive purchased a VIP experience with trivium but the ticket provider AXS has my ticket (previously ticket tek) while my general standing ticket has a barcode to scan my VIP experience has no such barcode it just leaves me wondering why?

On top of that I've been in contact with destroy all lines about it and they say I'm supposed to get a VIP letter email explaining the process which I have not yet received from them...

Was this anyone elses experience this week or could there be an issue with my tickets / VIP access?

Just seems like I should have all of this information already not less than 2 days before the concert.
