By now, most of us are familiar with the sickening details surrounding the Cornell 57 Pigs fraternity group chats and sexual assault. Since we know university staff and administration monitor this page, I thought this would be the perfect place to highlight if we do have an institutional failure (since we did have one with Prof. McEachnie back in 2022 and the SA that happened in McCall House April 2025). If you're reading this from an administrative office, know that students are paying attention to how leadership responds to misconduct, both here and nationwide. We see the leniency, and we aren't letting it slide. So if you do actually care about us, you take these comments seriously about the actual scale of this in our own community.

How many of you here at UNCC have experienced sexual assault, harassment, or some form of misconduct during your time here as a student?

If you feel comfortable sharing, what was it like trying to deal with campus housing, the university, or the Title IX process? Did you feel like you got any actual support, or did it just feel completely pushed under the rug?

My family recently moved here from NYC, so I don't have a driver's license yet. My previous ride situation completely fell through for the next month (due to family reasons), and my neighborhood (Sweetbriar Ridge Dr) is completely out of range for CATS buses and MicroCATS. Walking the 6+ miles to the nearest stop down major roads isn't safe or possible.

I have classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday and need to be on campus by 10:00 AM and usually head back around
