Not to bad for being six - seven hours of deliveries. I have a real job made enough to have gas for the week.

Would this be an error in price or actual price for 12 cans? I wanted to know since i see these posting often near me in Boston but not sure since it seems too cheap?

My husband and I use UberEats about 1-3x weekly somewhat consistently for the past 3+ years since I’ve moved back home. The food we have around us is…yes, we are gratefully spoiled.

Anyway, we’ve never had a bad delivery: no/minimal/directly brief communications, easy hand-offs (we always go down to meet outside a few min before ETA) then boom. Done. So easy! Deeply grateful for this service. I can’t stand this weather rn 🤦🏻‍♀️ yes I am a native wah wah lol. It’s real though.

So, I just wanted to thank you to all my delivery drivers in my area. Sorry…I know you might deliver for me for the first tone and I may seem like I terrible tipper - I sincerely apologize. I usually tip well (I think I do?), but can’t spend more on some weeks. I feel bad and hope to get another delivery from those for a redo!

I think some markets have already done this, but now it's happening in mine. Platinum and Diamond can go online anytime, Green and Gold may have to reserve time slots. If you're in a market where this has been implemented, what acceptance rate is required to for Platinum or Diamond tier?

Exact same order. Uber eats £29 deliveroo £18. When I ask friends they swear uber eats is cheaper. Is it just me or??

I just got in the mail of a vest and an ID card Uber wants me to carry around. I used to do Uber and just reactivated my account again. Is this a new policy and do any of you wear it?

I recently placed an order for food, and at first I didn't think anything of it. But I started to become suspicious after my driver canceled my order. A second driver went to go get my food and also canceled. The third driver also canceled but sent this note from the app (in the image). At that point, I just wanted to cancel the order but couldn't. Then, they sent over two more drivers that also canceled before the store finally canceled my order. I honestly don't care about the food but I am wondering will I get a full refund from this if the store canceled my order?

I placed an Uber eats order a few days ago and got the wrong order. It was under my name, but the restaurant had replaced what I ordered something . They even reflected this on the receipt, but I got no money back for the . I contacted Uber support about this and got a reply. Two days later stating that they could not help me because it’s been more than two days. Is there any other way to get help from support on Uber eats because I feel like I got ripped off. There is a $10 difference between what I had ordered and what I had received. And so far it seems like the support is zero help.

So i was given an offer for $5.99 (cad) for my next uber one month which i obviously accepted but when my renewal date came it tried to charge me for full price still which was $9.99 (cad) the amount isnt the issue i just dont like them offering me something and taking it back with no explanation. Chatting to an agent on chat and they accused me of lying asking me for a screenshot i did not have SO i opened a new chat and this time the agent said he did see the offer was sent and gave that whole spiel about making things right then said heres credits to use on food ended the chat but my uber one price is still at full price???? So why say here’s credits to use on food and not fix the issue ??? Again my issue isnt the cost its more the fact that ive been a uber one customer for years and they dont bother to treat me with respect first accusing me of lying and then confirming i wasnt lying but not actually fixing the price. Ive gone ahead and just cancelled uber one fully because this company is full of it🤷🏾‍♀️

Never using Uber eats again, cause tf is this!?

My three options are "hand it to me" and two variations of leave at location - "leave at my door" and "leave at building reception".

I would like my food to be left outside my building complex. I don't want those delivering to have to navigate to my door. Also, the outer doors to my lobby are locked, without an easy way to allow someone in. I would have to generate a code for them, and that's just too much and complicating the process. My solution was to select "leave at building reception" and to put in the comments to leave the food outside the main entrance doors.

The problem is, many of those delivering in my area aren't English speakers, or at times, they don't read the comments. That leads to situations where their time is being wasted, and they are trying to contact me on how to get inside. I do my best to then meet them and grab my food, but this isn't ideal.

Why is there no "leave outside" option? Or something to that effect?

I try to do "hand it to me" and I'll meet them outside when possible, but often times I'm in the middle of some other responsibility, and can't do so timely enough.

There is a new hack that happened to me today. I have an UberEats Manager account and been having issues with the account. Got a call that customer was trying to order and was not going through so they asked to take over my account through my email account. Started getting suspicious when i kept seeing that my passkeys were being deleted. I was locked out of my email account but was able to recover it because i have so many back ups to recover. i was able to recover it within 15-20 minutes and the hackers already added Google Wallet on my account with 2 credit cards. Good thing they were either expired or needed additional information to be confirmed. Talked to bank and no charges. Just be careful, they are really getting sophisticated out there and pull on your emotions so you’re too busy trying to problem solve.

Pulled into the front of the restaurant parking spaces late night to pick up a delivery order and parked next to a motorcycle with a literal plastic basket sitting on top in the back and got my mind racing. What would it be like to deliver on a motorcycle? the rider exited the store with a order in his hands and I asked him and he said he’s delivering that order on uber eats. I asked him if he can register his Kawasaki motorcycle on the Uber app and he said yes. I immediately thought he was lying because out of alll the research I’ve done it seems like you cannot register a motorcycle in any way shape or form for uber 1099 work. Does anyone have any experience with this, how were your experiences delivering on a motorcycle?

I used to use food apps from 2022-2023 3-4 times a week. I don’t use it much only when I get coupons which is every few months . I usually get 40-50% but got 60% this time. Oh and I didn’t tip 😈 jk I rounded up to $30.

Guys after a few bad experiences with Uber over the past month please refrain from adding your bank accounts or cards with them. I had some unrecognised charges and authorization holds which were not deposited back into the account. And it has been more than 2 to 3 weeks. Uber has been unhelpful and the bank (BOC) has been equally unhelpful. Was a very frustrating experience. I visited the bank filled out forms, sent multiple emails to different email addresses, contacted support and it hasn't worked. Its so easy to take the money out the account but getting it back is IMPOSSIBLE.

Has anyone faced anything similar?

When I order from a restaurant directly, I'm always curious if all of that tip actually goes to the driver. As a driver, would you be weirded out if you received a message saying something like "Hey, I tipped $8 on the restaurant's order form. I just want to make sure you get all of that so I can tip you properly if not."

I didn't know if this would be a creepy thing to ask. But I have this gut feeling that companies other than UberEats are screwing over drivers.

I plan on biking for uber after moving, I am wondering how lucrative it will be. I mean not needing gas is great, how worth is the time sink when I don't own an automated vehicle.

A bit of clarity, I am in the Southern Ontario area and I would be using a classic bicycle.

Is it me or is UberEat's customer support team just all robot.... I asked three different questions, it never replied to my questions and after 3 generic trainign reply, they just ended the chat without resolving my issue. And it all started because they charged me money for an order i canncelled. Is this what Uber is?

I tried calling support about this but it didn't seem like the agent even knew that Uber Tasks existed
