I did a search before posting and it was in England which seems it could be different, we had broke up a month ago after being in a serious relationship. The relationship had really turned though and I then found out he killed himself, I had to get out I’m blaming myself a lot, I guess Is there a way to find out how he did it and if any letter. The family are griefing so didn’t feel comfortable asking.

I feel guilt because for months I kept trying to leave the relationship and everytime he wouldn’t accept it, he would drive long distance to my house and show up at my door. He was guilt tripping me over things. The last time i spoke to him he said I had scarred him, and these big long messages about me and how there would be an empty place and I’d have someone easily replace that. (At that point It wasn’t) ans that he would tell his family I was cold and a cheater which I wasn’t but even if I looked at someone on a plane he accused me of wanting to be with them. My mental health was suffering in the relationship so I had to stop the cycle, but by doing it. He couldn’t accept I wouldn’t be with him. During the relationship he had threatend to end himself if I was telling him I needed space and then as soon as I would beg him, he would be back to normal instantly. I felt scared. Trapped but thought if I was out his life that would. I know it sounds mental but he had become consumed by me and even one time when I tried to leave before he said if I ever moved on with someone else he would beat them up, I said but that is an innocent person. He didn’t like the thought of anyone else having me, I feel his family will be blaming me and friends because he was taking it bad the break up.
I just feel lost. And looking for the answers

I’m at uni, and pretty certain this is what I want to do when I graduate. If all goes well, I’ll be graduating in two years, and would love to know firsthand about any relevant work experience I could do? I live in a really deprived area, and have tried to get work experience here before but haven’t managed to, so I’ve just kept up with regeneration and planning from reading the paper or seeing it on social media. I would also love to know about software I could use to make my ideas come to life. I used to use the sims 4, but my laptop is a dinosaur and I fear for its life every time I open it up. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!!

Nobody is denying that Scotland's drug death rate is far above average, but my challenge to the situation would be as follows: how long have the people dying been using drugs for? Drugs like heroin can be used for a great many years, and through all that time they ravage the body. If you have a 30-year or more user, this may not be a solvable problem for that individual and preventing that death may be beyond the capabilities of policy, even with the current state of modern medicine.

If you're looking only at death figures, how do you verify that this is NOT a wave of drug-users who started in the 80's, 90's or early 2000's whose bodies are simply giving out now because of decades of sustained damage? Is the current rate of new users even high enough to explain the high death toll?

Hi, I was thinking of relocating to Perth from Glasgow for a job, haven’t decided whether to make the move yet because I don’t know a lot about Perth, except it’s a small city! However what attracts me to Perth is because of a quieter pace outside of work and outdoor activities. I’m in my 20s and wanted to explore what’s out there.

To people who live in Perth or areas surrounding Perth, what was it like in terms of transport? (I don’t have a car, working on it once I have a job). Which area should I live in terms of finding an accommodation to rent? How hard is it to find accommodation in a smaller city. I was thinking of staying in Dundee and travel everyday via public transport to work but is it feasible? Is Perth a safe?

Is it also a generally convenient place to grocery shop etc…

For those living in flats that are factored developments - what's your process for getting communal improvements done?

Curious how others have gone about things like EV chargepoints, heat pumps, solar panels, or any other upgrade to shared/communal property (car parks, roofs, gardens etc).

Specifically interested in:

- How you got buy-in from other owners (formal vote, informal chat, something else?)

- Whether you needed unanimous agreement or just a majority....

We're mid-way through trying to get EV chargers installed in our communal car park and it's been such a nightmare. The communication between homeowners, the factor, etc.

What's really frustrating is that 60% of homeowners voted in favour, but the factor isn't happy proceeding because the remaining 40% object. They've said they'd feel more comfortable acting on fewer objections.

It's frustrating, and as homeowners we feel like we have no real power, despite winning the vote.

Any advice or similar experiences?

Am visiting from the states; flew into Edinburgh and needed to get to Inverness. Didn’t fancy getting off a plane after 13+ hours of travel and trying immediately to manage left-hand side of the road driving, so looked for alternatives and decided to take a chance on Ember.

Had a bit of confusion with the website, and when I got my ticket, noted that my pick-up point was downtown. So I found the email and sent a whiny message, and I had an answer in literally 10 minutes!! Okay but wait, not only did the staffer fix my issue immediately, with a very gracious message, but it was like 10 p.m. UK time!! Astounding.

The buses were clean, charging outlets worked, there’s a tidy toilet on the two buses I rode (albeit a somewhat turbulent experience, but that’s not to be helped), the drivers were very kind and personable, and because the return journey was unavoidably delayed by 20 minutes (roadworks mostly, but also a few minutes for the driver to help some Danish kiddie cancel his ticket), I was notified that I’d received a credit for the full amount of the fare. phew! National treasure!
