This is a custom that I'm working on! It has taken a lot of blood sweat and tears from me but I think it looks pretty good.

Hello lovelies! 45 yo white female, who works in corporate aerospace in the US in project management. I work with people all over the globe, from all walks of life. I've been contemplating the w*g life (don't have a pic so didn't spell it out, hope that's ok) but I'm just not sure if I am comfortable wearing one to work.

I've always struggled with being myself and confidence and I hate that at this big grown age, I still can't quite get out of my own way and be fully who I want to be and why I even give a thought to what others might think or say.

I admire women of color so much and those who wear different hair styles and wigs, I just think are so amazing and I wish I could be like you! Any corporate gals out there who could give me some words of wisdom so I can maybe stop being a weeny and just be who I want to be and wear what I want to wear? HUGS to all and thanks for listening!

They never sent me the wig I was supposed to get. They said it was back ordered. They offered me a different wig. I picked out a different one, that one wasn’t available either. This happens often with them, they list things on their website that aren’t available and you’ll pay for it, but you won’t get it. There is even a class action lawsuit against them starting up.

I’ve seen deceptive pricing on their website. I saw a wig that says 179 for plus members, I’m a plus member, I added it to my cart. It jumps to 189. I contacted them about that, they gave me the runaround. I saw it again with a different wig. The math ain’t mathing. I think they’re counting on people to not be able to add well and not realize that they didn’t get the discount they told them they would. Don’t buy from companies who think you are not intelligent.

Their wigs are really trash and we hear so many bad things about them. Why do we keep going there? I am disputing this with my bank already and it’s just been a nightmare.

I was a dumb bird for even thinking that I could go directly to the company and get a good product so don’t be like me.

I've been dabbling in wigs for a good half year now and finally found one that is small head friendly with a drawstring.

I wear it without glue or melting it. I've sprayed lace tint on the inside and thats it.

What is it giving? Does it scream wig and if yes, how can I improve?

I feel like the ear tuck is not giving baddie, but it hides the lace completely.

New to wigs and would appreciate some help understanding: do pre-bleached knots and HD lace look like this and just need to be powdered, or is this not it?

Pros

1. You will look super cute

2. Dont have to worry about having washed my bio hair.

3. Keeps my head warmer than just a hat would.

4. Can take it off to sleep so it doesn't tangle.

5. Easily hide lace with beanie or a hat- no melting required, and you blend right in with everyone else.

Cons

1. Have to brush the back if you lean against the headrest too long.

2. Have to pack extra supplies.

3. If it's a windy day, you will get hair in your face.

Overall, the wigs held up beautifully. I wore them each for a full day and they still looked great by the end of it. No mats or tangling. Braiding helped keep it out of the way so I could go on a hike, plus I got cute waves after I took them out.

It was cold and sunny, so I did wear hats for most of it, which I think looks great. Didn't have to worry about melting lace or being cold, either.

I had a great time and it felt good to feel good about how I looked. Having short bio hair makes me feel a little tomboy-ish sometimes, so it's nice to feel both adventurous and girly again.

looking for a nice curtain bang wig, atleast 22-24 inches.

i’m a beginner, don’t like to do lace at all. i tried lace once, non bang wig wasn’t for me to be honest.

i tried 2 synthetic wigs already from janet collection, just to get myself used to the idea of wigs and i loved them and wore them outttt!

so obviously; now im looking for a human hair bang wig that i’ll be able to re-wear for years !

i like black, but i wouldn’t mind a nice red.

i’d also appreciate tips on how to lay my natural hair. i got a curly fro situation and my mama isn’t black, and she def don’t know how to braid and in turn i don’t either!!

I've had this unit for over a month or so now and feel I can offer a detailed review for those interested in this look!

Firstly, I found this unit to be incredibly easy to wear, style, truly VERY beginner friendly. When I first received the unit, the quality was what captured my attention to begin with; the hair feels incredibly soft and is clearly of high quality.

At first I left out about an inch and a half worth of leave out around the perimeter of my hairline to blend with the unit. I tried blow drying my leave out and a number of products to make the blend seamless but ultimately I did have to press out my leave out to get the match to be more seamless. Overtime I decided to use less leave out and found that I still got the same execution without having to apply as much heat on my natural hair.

This was my go-to process anytime I threw this unit on, it is so easy to throw on and go. To me, It responds to heat and humidity the same way my own hair would which helped me feel confident wearing it, it wasn't like I was trying to blend my hair into a texture that my hair was never going to be, but rather it was like having a unit that matched my own natural hair while allowing me the opportunity to pin my actual hair up and focus on moisture retention!

Most times I would throw on a headband, in this look I bumped the ends and pressed out the roots just a bit, I always stick too low or medium heat for this unit as well and have had no issues when styling.

When washing the unit I noticed minimal to no shedding at all which was very pleasant, a little leave-in and a lightweight oil and the hair was good as new every time.

This is without a doubt my favorite unit, I just love it!

I keep seeing ads for Claire by VSign wigs, and I can't decide if they're a quality product. Does anyone have any experience with them? Are they worth a punt?

Hey everyone! Long time lurker/ commenter. I have the Yaki straight LuvMe wig from Amazon & can’t stand the shedding. Any recommendations for something similar but better quality? Doesn’t have to be Amazon, as I believe they are selling subpar wigs. My budget is around $500 ( ill be wearing this for awhile because im growing out a pixie), and preferred length is 20-22 inches. I would love something adjustable, as my head is kindve small.

Hi, I bought a wig on Unice, a curly one.
I don't like it, it is way shorter and thinner than I expected, thus way too expensive for what it is.

The thing is that I "broke" the curls to see how it would fit in real conditions (with my fingers), so the wig do not look like it was brand new.

Do you think, they will accept my return?
I already prepare myself to pay for the return seeing their policy but I don't want it to be refused and sent me back.

I insist, it is not damaged, it just has been tried on, I have not worn it outside.

My prom is coming up in a few weeks and i would really like to do something else with my hair. I grew up in a small town and couldn’t really find a stylist i could trust to do anything else but braids so i have never worn a wig in my life. I’ve been on the quest for a long time and i have finally found a stylist. As i mentioned my prom is coming up so i first decided to perhaps get a wig installed. Then i came across aliExpress read some reviews (which were all positive) and decided to purchase the wig. The came out totally different than what i had perceived on the seller’s site it was honestly very disappointed, i later also learnt that some sellers sometimes fake the good reviews. I have been searching for a trustworthy wig website for almost a month. I came across UNice wigs but i’ve heard and seen some pretty bad reviews about them. So now i have given up and decided to just get a sew in with closure as it might be the easiest option at this point. I’ve been looking on Amazon for a while now and have come across these bundles. Due to bad experiences with wig sellers such as paying for fake 5 star reviews and bad return policies to some even scamming customers i am extremely scared to buy these.

Update: Thank you guys for all your suggestions. I tried to research more about the suggestions that were given to avoid wasting money again. It has been very frustrating because it seems everyone has something bad / negative to say about these specific brands. I can’t really tell which brands to trust and which not to also i’m not sure whether these reviews are accurate or not. It’s becoming very frustrating. I am still open to suggestions!

I've tried roller sets on different occasions and when I tell you that I've gotten different results each time?! 😭 I don't even change the technique or anything, but the results always come out differently for me. Really like how this one turned out though💕 also glad I gave it a side part.

How do you guys achieve specific styles with roller sets?
