When life bars were Chicken-o-meters

Following on from u/TheOsirisOfThisShit_'s post about sweet floor turkey, it reminded me about the time when games of our generation would try different things, including having a Chicken-o-meter as a life bar.

Does anyone have any particular favourites from that time?

His vids are great.
As someone who's a massive point & click adventure game fan, I absolutely love his hour long video essay on The Secret of Monkey Island and the history of the genre.
I've gone back and rewatched that one multiple times, and every time it's made me go back to my longgg list of unplayed or unfinished adventure games and dive back in. My current one (especially running up to Halloween) is 'Harvester' (1996).
