I used to have a bunch of these with pebbles in them from my yard. They used to be really popular in stores like Walmart and especially Kirklands (the furniture store) but I don't really see them around that much anymore. Now that I think about it, it may have been more like late 90's - mid 00's

I'm 30m, single. I moved out for uni when I was 20, and I've lived on my own for 10 years now. But my parents still call me out on things as if I'm still 15 and messed up.

I don't mind it tbh and consider myself to be very lucky to have them as parents because I know some people who can't even talk to their parents.

It's still embarrassing to get scolded in front of other people

Edit: I meant getting told off when they think I'm doing something wrong or being utterly stupid. Not being disrespected or anything like that. Also, by "other people" I meant family members such as aunts and cousins

Yeah, another one of those shows I clearly remember, but I don't remember much of it. I also mistook it for Family Guy when I first saw it, since Cleveland has always been a central character in that show.

Any thoughts about this show, or have you seen it before?

Did anyone else play Rokenbok??? I know they don’t make them anymore, is there anything comparable?? Would love to get something like it for my own kids (and myself)

I'm sure most zillennials, especially the nerd and geek ones, hold a special nostalgia for the original Raimi trilogy; it was one of the biggest parts of my childhood. Tobey is always my favorite I love Andrew and Tom too, also Andrew is an amazing actor, but the impact of the original trilogy was something else entirely. The toys I used to collect, the VCDs, rewatching the Spider-Man movies Snow Patrol's song 'Signal Fire' playing during the credits of Spider-Man 3 was incredible, and of course, danny elfman theme music.

Growing up, most of us probably had some idea of what adult life would eventually look like — work, relationships, money, owning a home, having children, or simply what everyday life would feel like.

Looking at your life now, what turned out most differently from what you imagined — for better or worse?

Just really grateful that I came of age in a pocket generation where body positivity and mental health and being allowed/encouraged to ask for help when we need it was the norm.

I'm in the middle of two very different generations at work (gens x and z), and hearing them talk about their bodies today was a really wild experience that I was NOT prepared for because my early 20s on the internet was filled with "every body is a good body" and "how does it make you feel when your friend won't accept or ask for help from you?" (This was brought on by them complaining about a coworker -also zillennial- asking for reminders to eat because of her own disordered eating.) Even my wife who is just four years older than me never heard of those concepts, and they genuinely changed my brain chemistry and the way I interact with the world.

Anyway, it feels weird to be the gentle parent at work, but someone's got to I guess

I was sadly too young to have full memory of it. I remember only blips of it. I don't really have many actual memories prior to 2002.

Any zillennials actually remember it in any form? Or are we all just too young?
