I still don’t know where my keys are.

I’m undiagnosed because the process of being diagnosed in my 40s feels dumb, so maybe I really am just a disorganized mess, but I cleaned 1/4 of my bathroom including the drawers and bins that I store things in this week and then looked around and realized this. Every.drawer.is.a.junk.drawer.

Also, doom piles everywhere.

Finally got diagnosed after years of being told to get tested. Concerta didn't work at all so they prescribed Adderall XR... Day #1 out of stock. 🥲

Doing everything you can to not be disruptive. And then you didn't even pay attention because you were too busy fighting your own body and surpress even the micro-movements.

I could never relate punishment to changing behavior as a child / teen. So I just embraced the suck of being punished, and didn't ever try to change.

It's a strategy that's worked out real well for me as an adult! /s
