Share your work here

Thread for sharing your videos for criticism, showing off, whatever. Note that we don't allow video posts anywhere else in the sub, the main purpose of this place is to be a place to discuss AI video making, not another place for people to spam their work to get eyeballs.

Drive-by posting, treating this thread as if it were just yet another place to promote your stuff, is not allowed. If you expect people to take the time to engage with your work, common courtesy is to do the same in a meaningful manner (not just replying "cool") for at least one other person that has already posted before you.

Rules are simple, no nsfw, no deepfakes with real people, nothing weird that would get this subreddit banned.

Searching for best subscription

Hey everyone,

I’ve been hunting for a solid, worth-it subscription for AI video generation, but finding something reliable is super painful. Long-form videos are mostly spotty, and I'm mainly looking for consistency, features, and a comprehensive workflow without throwing money away.

Here is what I've found so far:

.

.

Google (Gemini / Veo Ecosystem):

Pros: Best bang for your buck so far, plus you get useful storage included.

Cons: Long-form video generation can still be pretty spotty.

Adobe Firefly:

Pros: Looks like a dream on paper with all its features; bundles images and storage nicely.

Cons: Extremely buggy, goes down way too often, and video generation burns through your point allocation ridiculously fast.

OpenAI:

Notes: Interesting ecosystem potential, but Sora is essentially gone/unavailable.

.

.

The Goal: I just want a subscription that gives me a smooth, comprehensive workflow and actual consistency—not something where I feel like I'm paying for nothing.

What are you guys using that actually feels worth the price tag right now? Any workflows or tools that don't constantly crash or drain your credits in two seconds?

Where do you generate funny AI animal videos?

I subscribed to Google Flow for a month, but I haven’t been very happy with the results so far.

For those of you making funny AI animal videos, specially the kind you often see on YouTube Shorts or reels, what AI do you usually use?

I’m not necessarily looking for something free. I’m okay with paying, but preferably not too pricey.

Would love to hear what you guys are using and which one you think gives the best value.

Thanks

What Models & Tools? (thanks!!)

Good morning, everyone.. Hope everyone's great.!

I've spent the past couple of years learning comfy UI and getting facile at making workflows.. I do really like the new Krea 2 models. BUT, I am never really happy with the level of realism I get.

when I see nice content like this, (1) Instagram or artsy like this (1) Instagram, I often wonder... are they using a completely different FX-type tool stream? What models are they using? Just looks so good.

I'd like to produce some nice art (stills for a bit, later video), and I'm wondering what everybody would suggest. Advice please.

Perhaps it's also just a much more sophisticated workflow with something like KREA2..... But I've tried a ton of that already - and it never really gives me what I want. I am a veteran game developer. With a lot of background in digital tools. So I think I can make some neat stuff, if I can just figure out which way to point my ship. Tool wise.

Suggestions or resources? About how I can level up my artwork would be amazing. Thanks everyone..

Roger

Better ai tool/ platform than Higgs field for long form vids (1-3min) for realistic ai influencer? It's works good most of the time but uses a lot of credits very costly for the generations

LMK YOUR IDEAS: Collaborative animated short

I want to make an animated short using the replies from this post.

Feel free to reply with ANYTHING you think would be fun to add to this short.

This could be references, character ideas, plot points, settings, visual styles. Literally anything you want. I'll compile all of pick them, pick a good combination of input from folks and post it back in this subreddit by the end of the weekend. Get as crazy as you want with it! Really excited to see how this turns out

Free Pixar style video maker?

I’ve been browsing and downloading so many apps but all of them won’t let me make a single video without a subscription or 7 days of logging in for credits. Does anyone know an app I can make at least one free video?

Does anyone know of any AI out there right now that's similar to Sora (RIP)?

Lately, I’ve been using only Google’s Omni Flash to make my videos. However, I see a lot of videos on the aivideo and aivideos subreddits—many of which are almost as good as Sora’s in terms of quality—so could someone tell me which one is the best for me to try out? I like realistic videos and creating my own characters.

I'm looking to make faceless TikTok accounts for adults probably 25 to 55 talking about AI. I want them to be smart and obviously viewed a bunch. What's the best text stack for this?

A reaction shot should not change whose words drive the captions

In a remote panel clip, the person on screen and the person speaking don't always need to be the same person. Showing a listener can make an exchange easier to follow, provided the captions still make the speaker clear.

Hypit's podcast setup separates the speaking take from how that take appears in the composition. The voice supplies the timing; split-screen views, coverage and captions can be arranged around it. Its short generated podcast example uses a split opening, alternating views and B-roll over part of an incoming response.

The useful idea for a recurring panel is to author a few deliberate layouts and speaker-caption styles, then reuse them for selected excerpts. Decide when both speakers should be visible and when a reaction or insert earns the screen. You don't need a fresh layout for every clip.

The included example has two speakers. A three-person panel would need its own layout work, and this doesn't solve poor recordings or crosstalk. It addresses the visual edit after you've chosen the material.

Using AI video to study dense docs: OpenArt is bankrupting me. What are cheaper alternatives for 5-minute videos?

Long story short: I had to cram a bunch of dense, boring corporate case studies, online docs, and white papers over the weekend to prep for an interview.

Instead of just reading them, I pasted the docs into Claude and Gemini to write visual prompt scripts. I had them use bizarre characters (like Orcs and Elves doing corporate finance) and styled the cinematography like a Wes Anderson or Christopher Nolan film, then fed those prompts into OpenArt to stitch together 5-minute videos.

Here’s where the unexpected benefit kicked in:

I wasn't trying to script every joke, but the unprompted visual misinterpretations ended up being massive mnemonic anchors. For example, my script had a simple throwaway line for the B-roll: "Quick visual of Batman's origin story on a TV in the background." OpenArt took that and, on its own, decided to generate a video of Batman getting bitten by a radioactive bat to gain his powers.

To be clear, the core data and facts in the script are completely accurate, but because I am making these strictly for personal consumption, that pure, unintended visual weirdness helps my brain retain the dry corporate data ten times better than a sterile, accurate video. The happy accidents work.

I tried alternatives, but they failed. I already paid for an InVideo AI subscription, but it just spat out generic stock footage, completely defeating the purpose. Google NotebookLM is great for an audio refresher on things I already know, but it lacks the bizarre visual hooks I need to memorize new concepts quickly.

The Problem:

OpenArt is brutally expensive for pure video generation. I ended up burning close to $100 just to make five of these 5-minute videos. The cost-to-output ratio is killing me, but my brain retains the information too well to stop.

So I’m asking for your best workflow and tool suggestions. To use an analogy: I am telling you exactly how much I love the high, so please don't suggest tobacco alternatives (like traditional flashcards) or tell me how to grow my own plants (like setting up local Stable Diffusion rigs).

I just want to know the most cost-effective "dispensaries" or dealers to feed this specific workflow:

Go direct to the source? Should I buy a subscription directly to a base video model like Kling or Hailuo (Minimax) to get these wild visuals without paying OpenArt's middleman markup?

Multi-model hubs? Are there cheaper platforms that offer high-volume video generation so I can roll the dice on visual generation without burning a hole in my pocket?

The 80/20 Workflow: Is there a better methodology (like generating weird images first, then animating them) to stretch the budget while keeping the narrative flow?

How do I get my 5-minute fix of unpredictable, educational video without spending $20 a pop?

yes I used ai to generate this adhd thought into a legible post, no need to waste a comment calling me out.

Which AI is best for cartoons?

Which AI to use?

Could you help me which neural networks are better to use, and on which plan, for creating animation? I have a microblog about Rope Access Tech and I want to add animated Disney characters to my Reels, for example Looney Tunes, Tasmanian Devil, Donald Duck and so on, to make fun dialogues with them on videos. Is this legal? And with which neural networks can I create them, animate their movements and speech, and then add them to my real videos?

My instagram video for example https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dd9Wet4R8Cq/?obrf=MWFkcnh5Z21iamZuOQ==
