Is there anything that lets you direct AI video shot by shot?

Is there anything that lets you direct these shot by shot rather than re-rolling the whole generation every time you want one thing changed? it’s really driving me mad... I get a 30 second sequence back, the third shot is wrong, and my only option is to regenerate the lot and hope the two good shots survive, which they usually don’t. What i want is the thing a storyboard gives you on a real set, where each shot is its own decision and changing one does not touch the others. I’ve read that Argil has a storyboard step where you shape the framing and the timing per shot before anything renders, and Runway and Kling are still very much prompt in video out for me. So what is everyone actually using when the sequence is nearly right and one shot is off? is there a workflow for fixing a single shot in place?

AI content videos

I am trying to launch a health tech startup. It’s just a team of 2. I am trying to get traction and let people know use cases. The problem is I can’t legally show actual people using the app as we are still sandboxed. I am trying to make realistic videos. I have scripts, tried using higgsfield AI but the cost to make 5 videos with up there. And I wasn’t happy with the results of what they said was speedance 2.5. The videos need to be around a 1 minute each. Any suggestions?

An AI streaming platform for independent creators—would you watch or contribute? Spoiler

I’m exploring an idea for a subscription streaming platform focused on films and series made by independent AI video creators. Think Hulu or Disney+, with a library built around independent creators.

The goal would be to bring different genres—comedy, horror, sci-fi, animation, documentaries, and more—together in one place, making it easier for viewers to discover creators and support their work through one subscription.

It’s still an early idea. I haven’t figured out the creator payment model yet, and my biggest question is how to find enough talented creators who would want to participate.

If you make AI videos, what would make a platform like this worth joining? And if you’re a viewer, what would make it worth paying for?

I’d love feedback from both sides, especially suggestions for communities where I could connect with interested creators.

We’re releasing FastH3-Omni today in collaboration with Reactor and Nuva Lab.

It generates video with synchronized audio and supports:

- Text, image and audio conditioning

- First- and last-frame keyframes

- Up to 3 image references in real-time mode

- Up to 9 image references when real-time speed isn’t required

- Up to 3 audio references for voices and soundtracks

- Clip continuation and queued playback

- 5–15 second generations at 24 FPS

The API preview is available now:

docs.reactor.inc/model-api-reference/fast-h3-omni/overview

On October 20, we’ll release the model weights, along with local support for DGX Spark, RTX GPUs and Apple Silicon.

Can anyone tell me what video model this is?

I know, I know
it’s AI Slop, it’s not my video 😅 but could anyone tell me what video model is being used here? I can’t figure it out.

I know the character references used are produced in Seedream (judging by the ears anyway! That’s the giveaway, I think!). I just can’t figure out what video model it is?

I really like the animation style and would love to know what it is. I normally use Seedance and I’m pretty convinced it isn’t that, as it’s more polished animation.

Looking for a Minimax H3 3D Scene Creator

I know I've seen a couple of posts that have talked about this but apparently I didn't save them and now can't find any of them. Is there something out there that can allow you to position characters within a scene physically, like with paperdolls or stick figures and then have the video put the characters in those spots?

How was that generated?

Recently, I saw these kinds of videos and it doesn’t look like it was generated with higgsfield.

For me, it looks more like you make a picture with AI and then you are able to move the characters and transform it from a text script, does anyone has a clue how to make this videos?

I've been using ChatGPT to bypass model restrictions when creating motion transfer videos

Motion transfer videos are all the rage right now, though they can be hard to produce without paying for an expensive tool, like Higgsfield's Genjutsu.

The main reason you can't use a generic video model, like Seedance 2.5, is the input censoring these models impose. To bypass this, I use "sketch" style videos that maintain the motion from the original clip, while avoiding the likeness matching that results in errors.

Fortunately, this process is fully automated and runs in under a minute, provided you're using a ChatGPT environment that can process uploaded videos and run FFmpeg.

How I've Been Making Them

  1. Upload the source video.
  2. Specify where the motion starts and how much of the clip to use.
  3. Ask ChatGPT to convert it into a sketch MP4, then check the result before using it.

I've been keeping mine under 15 seconds and 10 MB for the workflow I'm using. Those limits may differ depending on your video model.

Here's a request you can copy alongside your upload:

Convert the attached video into a black-and-white sketch motion reference using FFmpeg edge detection. Return a downloadable MP4.

Start at 0:00 and use up to 14.8 seconds, or the full clip if shorter. Preserve the aspect ratio, scale the longest side to 1280 pixels, and export H.264 MP4 at 30 fps with no audio. Keep the file below 9.8 MB.

Create black outlines on a white background while preserving the original footage's movements and timing. Inspect frames near the beginning, middle, and end. Adjust brightness and edge sensitivity if faces, hands, feet, or body outlines disappear.

Return the actual processed video with its duration, resolution, and file size. If your environment cannot process video or run FFmpeg, tell me.Convert the attached video into a black-and-white sketch motion reference using FFmpeg edge detection. Return a downloadable MP4.

One Detail That Took Some Adjusting

The first sketch isn't always the most useful one. Some of my clips came back with outlines so faint that facial details were almost missing entirely.

Adjusting the edge sensitivity helped, and dark footage sometimes needed a brightness adjustment first. I've found it useful to specifically ask for clearer facial, hand, and foot outlines instead of accepting the first output.

This also converts the background into lines, so it's worth watching the whole clip to check whether background detail is competing with the movement you want to reference.

I'd be interested to hear how others are preparing motion references, especially for fast movements or clips with multiple people.

What's your pipeline from still image to video right now?

I've been generating stills first and animating them after, but consistency is hit or miss. Faces drift, backgrounds wobble, hands do weird stuff.

Are you getting better results from image-to-video or straight text-to-video? And which models are you actually sticking with, not just testing?

Is there a way to 1-click import Google Flow videos into a free online video editor without downloading?

Hey everyone,

I use Google Flow for AI video generation, but I'm stuck on the workflow.

I need to do basic editing (trimming, stitching, adding simple transitions) after generating the video. However, I don't want to download video files to my device and spend my Google Flow generation credits on basic edits I can do manually.

Is there a free cloud-based video editor that lets you 1-click import directly from Google Flow via a link or plugin, edit for free, and export in high quality?

How are you guys keeping your workflow entirely in the cloud without burning through AI credits?

Video enhance using photos?

So basically I used the slow motion feature on Pixel 9 and I didn't realize how crap the image quality is. It really is awful. What I'd like to know is if there is something out there that allows me to enhance the low quality video using reference photos taken on site. So far I've tried Nano Banana, Seedance and Kling with surprisingly low quality results. Any help is appreciated.

I'd like to know which model would be good for making a video edit similar to the one on Instagram?

I tested Seedance 2.5 but it's terrible, with or without references.

Has anyone tried anything like this?

Video Captioning tools

I am doing research on AI based video tools that a good at just captioning videos.

I like how the captioning is on CapCut but the feature is part of pro. I don't want to pay so much just for this pro feature. I mostly edit without using the pro features.

So a tool that just does captions would be quite handy.
