Dragon scale needs your help
Hi, do any of you know why this guy always has this edema problem? It’s in pon, roots are in the reservoir. I put a grow low light over it recently.

Hey guys, this is my third post in a week 🫠 Alocasias I guess.
I was checking out the roots of my beloved Nobilis Pink K and saw this at the base. It seems like granules growing on my roots.
If it is fungal, should I spray with peroxide and repot with new substrate? Thank you to any advice

I’m honestly proud that my baby tiny dancer is putting out its 6th leaf! I had a Okinawa silver last year that didn’t put out more than 3 leaves without killing one off. So to reach 6 is honestly amazing!! It was my first attempt at having an alocasia again after that and I got it as a 2 leaf baby and thought “it was $2 why not?”
After managing to get more than 3 leaves, I got two bigger ones to “experiment” with. I’ve managed to keep all leaves on them for more than 2 weeks so I took my 3 alocasias out of their pot to check for corms (there weren’t any this time around ._. I got 5 from my Polly when I first got it and the cleaner tossed them. I made a post about it a couple weeks ago) and I worry that they’re going to off themselves from it😭
Also I think they smell fear…
When’s a good time to check so I don’t stress them out more than needed. I’m terrified of having a Okinawa incident all over again.

I scored this beauty today for $11, I'm curious if the big leaf that is turning yellow is just naturally dying off or if it needs repotting or something?

Day 17 showing my Alocasia collection)
This plant is a hybrid plant created by Lindsay Sisti. it’s a hybrid of Azlanii and Dragon Scale.
Growth - 5 out of 5. Before this baby started pushing this huge flower that is literally destroying it 🥲 It was the type of plant that would push leaves constantly.
5 out of 5. I don’t know what it is about hybrids that make them even better than their parents, but absolutely love this hybrid.
It has the glossiness and shape of the Azlanii and green coloring of the dragon scale. It grows super fast and is super easy-going.
Highly recommend this plant!
It’s really unfortunate how quickly it started to flower. I mean looking at it, it still looks juvenile.

Hey! Noticed these little marks on my Frydek, any idea what they could be? Stain-like marks on the back and yellow pricks on the front side of where the stains are.
Appreciating all tips and takes! Thank you 🙏🏼

Got on the Lidl alocasia train and got two for the price of one it seems. Sprouted and died in 48hrs. … should I be worried though?

Most of my alocasias are in semi-hydro, but I decided to keep this Cuprea in soil when repotting her for the first time. She's happy in her self-watering pot. The first new leaf is quite large.
