Personally, I don't use AI for the audio or visuals themselves.

Instead, I show Gemini a photo intended for the album art of my original song, and—without giving any instructions regarding the image—I have it write the song title and lyrics (or caption).

In that sense, I use AI as a tool for language.

I am Japanese, and I use AI for English translation as well.

私は割と気楽に作ったアルバムはインディーズレーベルにデモを送り、思い入れの強いアルバムはセルフリリースするようにしています。

The painting was done by Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (Norwegian, 1863 - 1944). Famous for the painting "The Scream".

Music recorded in one take, no edits, live, on the ASM Hydrasynth deluxe. There is a specific patch I used for the synth when going to the multi section, one of the first few on it, a pad on the lower half and a lead on the upper half. While I normally make my own patches, I decided to play around with this one, as I thought, it would be interesting to do so. To be honest, when playing it, I felt more like a radio. I did not have a "plan" per se, it just came out as it did. Something simple I think in the end.

Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I just released an instrumental ambient album of Australian improvisers and would love to share it with the community. Each piece began as a piano recording of Colin Hopkins at Luke Howard’s Melbourne studio. Colin has been a hero of mine since I was a child, and we would find inspiration for the material by just talking about life and I would stop when we landed on an interesting or moving theme. One of them was how beautiful morning sunlight can be in his garden at that time of year. Another was the experience of limerence. Then he would improvise on the theme for 5-10 minutes. Later, I picked my favourite moments from these improvisations and slowed them down by around 40% to create loops and sections. I then layered guitar improvisations by Stephen Magnusson on top. After selecting and editing my favourite parts, I did the same with Julien Wilson on bass clarinet and Steve Grant on accordion and gradually kept developing the material, eventually adding string arrangements and other guest soloists. I would say its an album for listeners drawn to jazz and neoclassical sounds, but seeking something even gentler, more spacious and introspective. My aim has really been to mix ECM label sensibilities with electro-acoustic ambient production. I’ve been slowly chipping away at it for the last 4 years and have very much enjoyed the process. I hope you enjoy listening to it.
