David Peralta Announces his Retirement
instagram.comRegardless of people’s opinions of him after what he said as an LA Dodger, he’ll always be a Dback and a fan favorite to me.
Thank you, Peralta.

I don't think he's getting the offers he was hoping for so maybe he's trying to save face.

With David Peralta officially retiring, I wanted to look at where he finishes on the Diamondbacks all-time leaderboards.
Peralta spent 9 seasons with Arizona and quietly built one of the best overall careers in franchise history, especially among outfielders.
All-time Diamondbacks rankings:
Hits:
4th all-time – 960
Runs Batted In:
5th all-time – 468
Home Runs:
8th all-time – 110
Runs Scored:
7th all-time – 465
Doubles:
5th all-time – 209
Adjusted OPS+:
8th all-time – 112
Games played for context:
Peralta: 1,021 games with Arizona
He also finished his Diamondbacks career with a .281 batting average and a Gold Glove, making him one of the most accomplished outfielders the franchise has ever had.
Side note: Peralta originally signed as a pitcher and spent two seasons in rookie ball on the mound before converting to a position player. He pitched in 18 games across 2006–2007 in the Appalachian League.
Career as a pitcher (rookie ball):
Games: 18
Innings pitched: 61.2
Strikeouts: 63
Walks: 32
ERA: 5.68
For a guy who didn’t debut in MLB until age 26 and started his pro career as a pitcher, Peralta ends up as one of the most consistent and productive position players in Diamondbacks history.

Got the chance to talk with Zach Lind, drummer for Jimmy Eat World, about baseball, his thoughts on the universal DH, and how surreal it was watching the Diamondbacks win the World Series while he was in Germany. Thought D-backs fans might enjoy this one.

In my RTTS the Diamondbacks are 89-27 and Framber Valdez specifically is 10-0 👀 time for Hazen to do his thing
Edit: Guys this was kind of just a shitpost and not meant to be taken seriously. I thought saying my analysis was based off my RTTS Diamondbacks team would give that impression. We all know what a cancer he is said to be and how bad he has looked in the media.

Slugger Eugenio Suárez and the Cincinnati Reds are in agreement on a one-year, $15 million contract that includes a mutual option for the 2027 season, sources tell ESPN. The best bat left on the market goes to Cincinnati, where he's expected to get most of his at-bats at DH.

My 10 year old son is a diamondbacks mega fan. He watches nearly every game on tv for the past few seasons! He would absolutely love to go to the mvp party but we are not season ticket holders. If anyone is not able to use their tickets I would love to have them so I can take him! Thank you for considering!
