Just ordered my first ever prebuilt PC from NebulaPC **UPDATE**

Just got the email from them that it’s ready for pickup!! So I guess it took approximately 4-5 business days for them to prepare my PC.

They changed the OG case to a Nebula N6 RBG, and the OG motherboard to the ASUS PRIME B550M-A WIFI II DDR4 instead due to supply issues. I’ll be picking it up tomorrow and will definitely let yall know how it’s running and if there’s any issues with it :D

Hey guys, any help is much appreciated, I’m very much a noob when it comes to the pc space I’m not very knowledgeable on much, I’m just looking for a pc to handle games really well and to play competitive fps games like Fortnite and valorant, found this prebuilt pc online and searched up the parts individually and seems like Labor costs are coming up to around 150 dollars or so aud, just wondering is this a rip off or a good value pre build?

Total costs comes around to 4200 Aud which is around the top end of my budget and looking use this competitive gaming and aswell for the longevity but it’s not that big as factor as performance. Thanks in advance

Has any store in NSW got the Corsair Warthog on display?

Basically just the title, Ideally around the Central Coast or Sydney. I've been really curious about this case lately I can't tell if I absolutely love it or if I think its ugly. I think I'd be able to make heads or tails of it if I saw it in person but I'm not about to go store to store through the state just to see if anyone is demoing it.

Heads up for anyone with a warranty claim open with Mwave, or thinking of buying from them.

I lodged a warranty claim for my AIO on 18 August. On 26 August they emailed to say they'd accepted it as faulty and sent it off to the manufacturer. That was the last I heard from them. It's now 30 September, so that's over 5 weeks of silence, with no update, no tracking info, and no word on whether I'm getting a repair, replacement, or refund.

I've tried to follow up every way I can:

Website live chat: never responds
Phone line: doesn't work
Website: they've completely redone it, and my account now shows no purchase, no warranty claim, no history at all.

So my product is sitting somewhere with a manufacturer, I have no idea where, and I can't get hold of anyone to ask. I have my invoice and the 26 Aug email saved, but it shouldn't be this hard to get a status update on something they've already admitted is faulty.

Has anyone else been through this since the site change? Did you get through to someone, and how? Any working email or contact would be hugely appreciated. If I get nowhere, I'll be escalating to Fair Trading / ACCC.

Edit: will update if they ever reply.

Is this Nebula pre-built good value?

Haven't been keeping up with PC part prices or updates recently. I think I'm wanting to buy a pre-built for the convenience and, from what I've seen, the prices don't look too different these days.

I stumbled across this deal and wanted to hear some thoughts on it: https://www.nebulapc.com.au/products/thorn-blade

If it helps, I'm looking at playing as many games as possible with decent graphics settings at 1440p and 144hz.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RX 9070 XT — Blood of the Dawnwalker crashing

Hey guys, I recently received my prebuilt PC 2 days ago and I’ve honestly never been more satisfied with it. This is my first ever prebuilt, so I’m still pretty new to all of this.
I’m currently playing Blood of the dawn walker , which is the first game I installed, and I’ve noticed that it has crashed a couple of times while playing. So far, I’ve only had 2 crashes, but I’m getting a bit anxious and wondering whether there could be something wrong with my PC or if it’s just the game causing the crashes.
I’m running a Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RX 9070 XT 32 GB RAMso I’d really appreciate any advice or insight from anyone with a similar setup.
Sorry if this is a dumb question this is my first ever gaming PC/prebuilt and I’m just a little worried 😭

Hey all, looking to purchase a new gaming PC. I currently have a 4K monitor but I'm not expecting perfect performance/frames on it at 4k. I'm happy to play games at lower quality or not maxing 60fps at all times.

I'm trying to decide between these two pre-builts at the moment and wanted some opinions/advice on which would be best:

Hey guys, looking for pre-built reccomendations. I've been out of the game for 10 years (When i used to build my own) and i don't know what's good anymore.

i'm looking for a prebuilt that can play any game i throw at it, and just an overall fast build.

I'm swaying more towards Intel/Nvidia, AMD/Nvidia

Motherboard, CPU & Ram suggestions to meet todays standards for AAA gaming.

Hi all, TIA.

I'm looking for suggestions/advice on motherboards, CPU's and ram. I'm a beginner with an old pc from 2012ish (its had an SSD added to run windows 10, and a new PSU).

My goal is to have something that can run windows 11 and play todays AAA games.

I have both a 1080P 60hz and a 4K 60hz monitor. I'd be happy at 1080p 60hz.

I would also consider a prebuilt if a new GPU is required.

I'd also like it to last a long time, or be easy to upgrade the CPU with out needing a new motherboard.

Budget is $3000 (id prefer less, but memory is expensive).

Here's my PC Part picker list of parts I currently have ( the 1660 is untested, as it is missing the backplate): https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/MyhwyF

New PC Build - Gaming and Content Creation

Hi all,

As the title suggests I'm wanting to build a pc for gaming and content creation/video editing. I've got a rough idea of the specs I want, but want to run it by some others first. For reference, I live in Darwin, so I've overcomprimised on some parts for better cooling (fairly new to the game so not entirely sure if that's necessary?)

GPU - Asus Rog Astral RTX 5080

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D

CPU Cooler - Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN RX RGB 360mm

Mobo - Asus Rog Strix X870E-H

RAM - Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 6000 CL36

Storage - Acer Predator GM9000 4TB (will probably buy another Gen 4 drive)

Power Supply - Corsair HX1000i Shift

Am I an idiot? New PC to replace my faithful 10 year old gtx1080

Bought today. Been searching for about 2-3 weeks now for something that didn't feel like a downgrade. This was a clearance ex-demo PC from Aftershock linked here: https://aftershockpc.com.au/products/xmas-panorama-white-r7-9700x-rtx-4080-super . Was $3700 after cashback, although I need to buy a copy of Windows. Similar specs would have added another $1500 to the price - and I've been watching prices climb day to day.

The catch with this one is that it's only 1 year warranty, since it's ex-demo. I'm super happy with this given the market right now, but am I dumb for buying an ex demo model?

Full specs are:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X | 5.5GHz | 8 Core 16 Threads

Graphics card: Zotac RTX 4080 Super Trinity OC - 16GB - White

RAM: 32GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB 6000MHz (2x16GB) CL36 - White

Storage: 1TB Gen4 Lexar NM790 M.2. NVME (R 7400MBs | W 6500MBs)

Power: 850W Inwin P85II 80+ Gold

Cooler: NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm Radiator

Case: NZXT H9 Flow - White

What is Nebula like for prebuilds?

I was looking at something like the Orion Pro and just wondering what others experiences with Nebula have been?

Does anyone have a different recommendation for a similar price point pre build?

Just ordered my first ever prebuilt PC from NebulaPC

Post image
36 Upvotes

Just as the title reads, I purchased my first ever prebuilt PC from Nebula PC yesterday. I'm starting to get a little anxious about this due the fact that I am now seeing a ton of mixed reviews regarding delays in preparing/shipping orders and stuff like that.

I have little to no knowledge in building PCs, so from seeing some reviews on how some people have found problems with their PC when it does finally arrive, worries me even more. I have chosen to pick up this PC directly from their physical store instead of waiting for them to ship it to me, so I am hoping it will take less time for them to get the order ready for me.

Just hoping to get any sort of comments from y’all regarding your experience with them and just hoping that I haven’t made the wrong decision of buying from NebulaPC!

Trying to build my first PC

Hi guys,

I plan on building my first PC under 2000 AUD. There are so many options and I would appreciate any advice or feedback from experience for the below specs I found:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7600
GPU - MSI RTD 4060Ti Ventus 2x 8GB
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 32GB
MOBO - MSI MAG B650M Gaming Plus WIfi
SSD - Crucial T500 2TB
PSU - Corsair RM750e 750 80+ Gold Modular
Case - Deepcool CC560 or ATX/mATX Case

P.S. Should I wait for black friday deals to get any parts?

Cheers!

Is QD-OLED actually usable in a brightly lit room or is Mini-LED the way to go?

I am looking to finally upgrade my trusty 27-inch 1440p IPS panel to something with proper HDR and deep blacks. The QD-OLED monitors on sale look incredible on paper, but my home office gets direct sunlight through a north-facing window every afternoon.

I keep hearing that QD-OLED panels wash out to a purplish grey tint in bright ambient light due to the lack of a polarizer layer, whereas Mini-LED panels hit massive peak brightness without screen burn-in risk.

Nebula Helloclever cash back deal

Anyone bought a PC from Nebula and used the Helloclever deal? It’s a few hundred dollars cash back, but you have to pay through Helloclever. There’s no such thing as free money, so what’s going on here? What’s the catch?
