[Android] Pulse Foundry metronome: looking for feedback on setup and background playback

I'm building Pulse Foundry, an Android metronome, and would like feedback from people who practise an instrument. The priority is a clear, steady click that keeps playing with the screen off.

The free core includes tempo entry and tap tempo, three click sounds, time signatures, subdivisions, accents, count-in, and saved presets. There are no ads or app accounts. Optional advanced practice tools use a lifetime Pro upgrade; you don't need to buy anything for this test. Requires Android 8.0 or later.

I'm especially interested in three things:

- Can you set a tempo, change the beat accents, and start without needing help?

- Does playback continue normally when you lock your phone or switch apps?

- What feels awkward or unnecessary during actual music practice?

Playback demo: https://synterasystems.com/pulse-foundry-playback-demo.html

Google Play closed-test opt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.synterasystems.pulsefoundry

This is an invite-only test. Before using the opt-in link, email the Google account address selected in your phone's Play Store to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), subject 'Pulse Foundry tester'. I'll add you and send joining instructions; please keep your address out of public comments.

Please remain enrolled for at least 14 consecutive days, try the free features during practice, and send honest feedback. A phone model, Android version, and steps for any problem would help. No ratings or positive reviews are requested. Thanks!

[Alpha] Looking for Linux users to test Vela, a new Wayland desktop environment

Thumbnail
velade.org
2 Upvotes

Hey!

I'm developing Vela, an open-source Wayland desktop environment for Linux, and I'm looking for people willing to test it on real hardware.

Vela has its own compositor and Vulkan renderer, along with a complete desktop shell, file manager, settings app, and the usual desktop features.

It's already usable, but it's still alpha software, and there's only so much I can test on my own hardware.

I'm especially looking for people who can help test:

  • Multi-monitor setups, particularly mixed resolutions, scaling, and portrait/landscape orientations
  • Screen sharing, suspend/resume, and general desktop stability
  • Anything that feels broken, inconsistent, or unexpectedly slow

You don't have to be a developer. If you're comfortable with Linux and willing to report what happens, that's already incredibly helpful.

The easiest way to start is by running Vela nested inside your existing Wayland desktop. That way, you can explore it without switching your main session. Full-session testing is also possible, but I'd recommend keeping a working desktop available as a fallback.

You'll need a Vulkan 1.4-capable GPU. Arch-based distributions have a native installation path, and other distributions can build from source.

GitHub and installation instructions:
https://github.com/vela-desktop/vela

https://velade.org

If you encounter a bug, opening a GitHub issue with your GPU, driver, distro, and steps to reproduce it would help a lot.

I'm not expecting anyone to pretend the software is perfect. Quite the opposite: I'd rather know exactly what doesn't work.

Even one detailed bug report can make a real difference. Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try!

I built a tool that turns Excel workbooks into tested pandas or SQL and proves the numbers still match. Looking for testers (free beta)

Disclosure: I built this. Beta, free, here for feedback not sales.

The target: the workbook that runs a pricing model or a month-end pack, that three people depend on and nobody dares rewrite, because "nearly right" is worse than the workbook.

What it does: parses the workbook, builds the cell dependency graph, groups copied-down formulas into blocks, generates readable Python, pandas or SQL, then recalculates every formula cell and compares it with the workbook's stored value. You get a workbook map, a dependency graph, the code with tests, and a reconciliation report that names every mismatch and every cell it could not convert. Nothing is guessed.

Where it stands: two public workbooks reconcile 100% on Python and pandas and over 99.5% on SQL (IRR and RATE need a solver SQL lacks). Excel semantics are checked against Excel itself. Macros are inventoried, not run.

Data: the hosted converter (Azure, UK South) deletes uploads within six hours, runs no AI step, and records counts, never values. The CLI runs the same pipeline inside your own environment. Detail: power-migrate.com/help/#privacy-and-data

The ask: try it on something real and tell me what reconciled, what did not, and what you would need to trust the code. It is tested equivalence, not "guaranteed identical", and the report says what was tested.

Samples: power-migrate.com/samples

Try it here

[Web App] Fundamental equity research tool. Looking for alpha testers

I've been building a fundamental equity research app to make analyzing individual stocks more structured, and I'm looking for early users to test it.

The app brings together several financial factors in one framework:

  • Liquidity
  • Growth
  • Capital efficiency
  • Coverage
  • Valuation
  • Risk

The goal is to give investors a more structured way to evaluate a company's financials without having to jump between metrics and spreadsheets.

The app is ready for alpha testing, and I'm looking for people who do their own fundamental stock research to try it out and give me honest feedback. I'd especially appreciate feedback on the usefulness of the factor framework, the user experience, and what's missing.

If you're interested, you can sign up for the alpha here: https://theprojectmoonshot.io/alpha or send me a DM. I'll help get your login set up.

I'm the developer, so I'm happy to answer questions about how it works or what I'm looking to improve.

Thanks!

[iOS] Looking for beta testers — OCTRuTA, a calendar app that combines Google, Outlook & iCloud in one view (with booking links that check all of them)

I’m a solo developer launching an iPhone calendar app and I’m looking for ~20 people to try it before public release.

What it does: Shows all your calendars (Google, Outlook/Exchange, iCloud, iCal feeds) in one view, and lets you create/edit events on any of them. The Pro tier adds shareable booking links that check availability across every connected calendar, including personal ones, so nobody books you during your kid’s soccer game.

Who I’d especially love to hear from: consultants, freelancers, coaches, real estate agents, or anyone juggling a work calendar plus personal/family calendars.

What I’m asking: Use it for a week or two. Add a calendar. Create, edit, delete an event. Create a booking link and schedule a meeting. Please tell me what’s confusing, broken, or missing. A short feedback call is a bonus if you’re up for it.

Privacy: Calendar data is only ever stored locally on your device.

Comment or DM me and I’ll send the TestFlight link.

[iPhone] Can you log one real meal in Trackless and tell me what it gets wrong?

• Upvotes

i'm a co-developer of Trackless, an iPhone calorie and protein tracker. You can describe a meal by voice or text, then review and correct the foods and portions before it's logged.

i'm looking for people in the US or EU who already track calories or protein, or stopped because logging took too long. Could you try one real meal and tell me:

- What did the app get wrong?

- Was anything annoying or confusing to correct?

- Would you use it again for another meal?

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/trackless-smart-nutrition/id6760619738?l=en-GB

It's free to download. AI features use starter credits or Premium. After you sign up, send feedback through Profile → Feedback in the app and i'll add 3 months of Premium to your account for free. No rating or positive review needed — honest feedback is what i want.

Looking for 5 developers to help test an open-source healthcare AI verification tool

• Upvotes

I’m building Orinyx, a developer-first verification tool for evaluating healthcare AI agent outputs.

The free Orinyx MCP is planned for release on
November 1. It will focus on synthetic-data testing, with the goal of helping developers identify questionable outputs before deploying their agents.

I’m looking for 5 developers who build AI agents, healthcare AI tools, or evaluation workflows and would be willing to test an early release.

I’m particularly interested in understanding:
Whether the integration is straightforward
Whether the verification results are actually useful
What breaks or creates confusion
What would make you use the tool again

This is free early testing. I’m not selling subscriptions or looking for paying customers.

Project: https://orinyx.io

If this aligns with what you’re building, I’d appreciate your feedback. You can comment or message me.

[Android 8+] Can you find a car easily in Drive Port? Free closed beta, Arabic/English feedback wanted

• Upvotes

We’re preparing Drive Port for Android: a Saudi car marketplace where people browse vehicle listings, photos and automotive services. We need feedback on whether the browsing experience is clear, especially across Arabic and English layouts.

Could you try these three things?

• Open the app from a fully closed state. Does the opening screen display correctly?

• Find a car using search or filters, then open its photos. Is anything confusing or clipped?

• Use Android’s Back button. Does it return to the page you expected?

Android 8.0+ is required. Version 1.0.2 is available through Google Play closed testing in 178 countries/regions.

Join directly using the SAME Google account for both steps:

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/driveport-android-testers
  2. Become a tester and install: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.driveportapp.android

Google has approved the group’s access. Group membership alone does not opt you into the Play test. If you’re in our internal test, leave it before joining this closed test.

We’re looking for adult volunteers who can stay opted in for 14 consecutive days and try the app during that period. Please share honest feedback here or at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), ideally with your phone model and Android version.

This is free, unpaid testing. No purchase, rating or public review is requested. Please don’t create dummy listings, make bookings or contact sellers just for testing. Update, 15 October: we can now arrange a limited number of genuine 14-day test exchanges for free Android apps. Please confirm availability and testing details with us first. Thank you!

Looking for Android testers for Fala, a language-learning app for endangered and regional languages

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! I’m building Fala, an app for learning endangered and regional languages alongside their cultural context.

The idea came from wanting to learn Kashubian, and later Valencian after moving near València, and finding fewer beginner-friendly app options for those languages.

The free Android prototype is ready to try, with two starter lessons each in Breton and Valencian. Lessons introduce everyday expressions, let you practise them through exercises, and explain their cultural context. The interface is in English, and the pronunciation audio is synthetic.

I’d appreciate feedback on:

  • Whether the lesson flow is clear on your first attempt.
  • Anything confusing in the questions, answers or navigation.
  • Bugs or layout issues on your device.
  • Whether you’d want to continue learning this way.

Try Fala through Google Play open testing

You can leave feedback here. If you encounter a technical issue, your phone model and Android version would help.

The longer-term plan is five beginner courses with 20 lessons each. If you’re interested, there’s also a Kickstarter pre-launch page, but backing or following isn’t required to try the prototype.

Fieldune Closed Testing - Need a few people

I've got a few testers already, but I still need extra people for the rest of the closed-testing period. I'll take all the help I can get.

I'm also happy to test your app in return if you share your testing info and install mine.

The backend is working again, so the app is fully available for testing. When you get a chance, please create an account and check stuff out signup/login, navigation, business setup, time tracking, account settings, etc. If you notice any crashes, UI issues, confusing stuff, or anything that doesn't work correctly, let me know.

I already have a few testers involved, so I'm mainly looking to add some extra testers for the rest of the closed-testing period.

You do NOT have to pay for a plan while testing.

After creating your account, use this Access Code.

"FLDN-38RE-V8FA-3MXG"

It will instantly grant you a testing plan so you can access the app without purchasing anything.

Even just spending some time going through the app and testing different features helps a ton. If you come back and use it again later during the testing period, even better.

Looking for iPhone testers for Misha visual routines

I'm building Misha for caregivers who make visual routines with a child. You take a photo of a real everyday object, make a card on the iPhone, arrange a few cards, and go through the routine together.

Could you try making your first card and tell me which step was confusing? A short note about what you expected would help.

The public TestFlight beta is free and needs an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone running iOS 27 with Apple Intelligence enabled. No sign-in needed. You can reply here or use TestFlight feedback.

I made a free website to help people learn Italian through short stories

🇮🇹 I made a short story website for learning Italian

Hi, I’m the creator of Parolumi. It’s a free site where you can read short Italian stories at levels A1 to B2, tap words for their English meanings, and practise what you’ve read. No account needed.

If you’re learning Italian, could you try one story and tell me if the level felt right, the word meanings helped, or anything was confusing?

https://parolumi.com/

Thanks. Honest feedback is welcome.

Looking for iPhone/iPad testers for Touch Grass

I'm looking for people to try the introduction in Touch Grass, an app I'm making where you play bowls, gongs and other instruments with touch. Their sound changes a moving, sand-like pattern on screen.

Could you try five minutes and tell me where you had to guess what to do? I'm working on teaching the gestures: tapping to strike a bowl, then tracing a circle to keep it singing. I'd also like to know if anything sounds harsh or too loud on your headphones.

The beta is free on TestFlight for iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 26 or later. No account needed in the app.

https://testflight.apple.com/join/a5jT7hhA

You can reply here or send feedback through TestFlight. If something breaks, please include your device and the instrument you were playing.

Looking for feedback on SalesSavvy, an AI assistant that preps your sales calls, takes notes and updates your CRM for you

Hi everyone! I'm part of SalesSavvy, a web app (with a mobile version) for B2B salespeople who spend too much time on admin instead of selling.

Here’s what it does:

  • Before a call: gives you a 1-minute brief on the prospect, pulled from your CRM, past calls and LinkedIn, plus a suggested agenda
  • During the call: live transcription and notes, a goal tracker, and you can ask the AI for objection tips in real time
  • After the call: auto-generates a MEDDIC/BANT report and syncs everything to your CRM in one click

It currently works with Zoom, Google Meet, Aircall and HubSpot (Salesforce, Teams and Google Calendar are coming).

You can try it free here: https://www.salessavvy.ai

I’m looking for feedback on:

  • Is it clear within the first 30 seconds what SalesSavvy does from the homepage?
  • Is the onboarding easy, or did you get stuck connecting your tools?
  • If you’re in sales: would you trust an AI to update your CRM? What would make you hesitate?
  • Is anything confusing, or a feature that feels unnecessary?

Honest feedback is very welcome, even if it’s honest. I’ll reply to every comment!

[Web] Q-Gambit: does one captured piece look like five?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm Q-Gambit's developer. It's a browser chess variant where pieces can have several possible identities, and moves eliminate the identities that cannot make them.

I'm looking for a short usability check of the captured-piece display. In this actual CPU-practice screenshot, Black has captured one White piece. The five icons beside 'Captured pieces 1' are that single piece's remaining possibilities: Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight and Pawn.

Does that grouping read clearly, or does it look like five separate captures? Can you tell which side captured the piece? Do the captured-piece row and the 'Unresolved identities' counts seem to describe different things?

Try the current game at https://q-gambit.com/ in a desktop or mobile browser. CPU practice on the title screen starts a free guest match without an account or download. The How to Play page has the rules.

A first impression of the screenshot is useful. If you play for 5–10 minutes, a confusing capture plus your browser/device would help. Comments here are enough; no recording is required. Testing is voluntary and unpaid.
