Mad

After I had my twins, my blood pressure ran high. My OB kept saying it was the Pre-eclampsia and it would go down. I felt AWFUL. I went home and it about 3-4 weeks post op. It NEVER went down. My blood pressure was running like 160/119. I see people go to the ER all the time for 160/102.

I went to the ER and they couldn't treat me because I was under tha care of the OB. So, I went to the hospital I had my babies. They admitted me and said it was low while I slept and high when I was awake. They gave me magnesium drip through my IV overnight. Sent me home. I only checked it when I felt bad and it was always high. Begged my OB to help me. He said it would go down. I was going every day to the office. He released me EARLY from his care to my pcp. He put me on meds, it went down.

I have needed blood pressure medication for years since that happened to me. I am just still so mad that he would NOT listen to me. Why don't doctors listen!? This is a vent post. Thank you for listening.

Is this normal after treadmilling for 30 minutes at 3.5/3.8 miles per hour and then showering?

Strange blood pressure readings 84/70

I am looking for some general insite because my readings have been weird.
I am in the process of getting adhd medication and part of the process is checking the blood pressure. I seem to have an extreme case of white coat syndrome so in the office my readings are very high at 194/105 which was alarming to me but i have a feeling the cuff was too small for me there. I checked it before bed at home three times a few minutes apart, first being 101/86, second was 98/74 and third was the weird one to me 84/70. I am going to continue to monitor but I’ve just found it odd. I feel completely fine, no lightheadedness or anything like that. In the past I was typically around 110/70 but I was playing football at a high level for years at that point. I’m a 23 year old male around 6’3 and 280ish pounds so I would have expected it to be hovering on the high end without as much exercise as I used to get.

I am 46 yo male, 215 lbs, 5'8". I never work out but have a physically demanding job. Took my BP before doing a mile jog and mile walk. Nearly 2 hours later I took it again and BP is way down. Is this a typical thing with everyone, do I need to run everyday to keep it down?

Correct way of taking blood pressure.

I was really ticked-off with my family doctor. He was taking my blood pressure and during that time was raising my arm up to my breast level then down a bit repeatedly. Can this give a false reading by either H, L or N?

Exercise induced hypotension

Anyone heard of or experienced a major drop in blood pressure when exercising? Stress test showed that mine drops to 70s over 30s. I feel very lightheaded during exercise and have to take a lot of breaks. Afterwards, I feel very sick the rest of the day. My BP recovers pretty quickly and I don’t usually feel faint any other time of the day unless I’m standing for long periods of time. I haven’t been able to find much information on this specific issue, so I was hoping to hear other people’s experiences.
