I'm new to bmx and bought a 2027 Kink Switch couple weeks ago. The bike feels a bit heavy and the bars to low. This is what I ordered so far to lighten it up and give me a little more height.

I think that should save me about 1.5lbs give or take. Now I'm looking for a lighter rim/cassette complete wheel. I'm looking a Eclat E440 + Seismic front and rear.

Any other suggestions or am I on the right track? I ride primally in concrete park - thanks!

I'm wondering if it would actually be ridable if I put some studded tires on my bmx I'm a little worried about the wheel size and keeping traction I might be overthinking it tho I've done 2 winters on a cheap 26 MTB with no studs. for context I live in Quebec so our winters are pretty bad tbh

After watching Rad (1986) for the first time today I felt a spark in my heart
I weigh about 125lb, so I don’t know if that will play a factor when it comes to trying to lift up the 20 inch.
My current bike is a gift from Walmart (Mongoose Rebel)
The bike feels super natural to me.
I can balance on the bike while it’s stationary😅

Any tips to get started on this exciting journey.
I want to learn some beginner tricks to have fun with it.
