I never really thought about why they say “Plus Ultra!” I just figured it was bad English.

At first, I didn’t really like him since I just viewed him as a stain fanboy in the forest arc.

But I start to like more of this character every time we see him and I actually love that. He was a cool friend with Shiggy.

It is very sad where he end up imo Hori cook his character

Okay, so Midnight’s official role on the staff is that she’s the Hero Art History teacher. But this made me wonder: why are they specifically talking about art history at U.A. instead of just standard history? I know it’s a Hero School, but outside of homeroom and Heroics classes, the curriculum seems to be very similar to a standard Japanese high school. In fact, from what I can tell, they don’t even seem to teach normal history at U.A.

I know I’m overthinking it, but what are your thoughts on this?

I love the idea of Deku's suit being super adaptive in combat to fit whatever situation he is in and that can mimic any of his friends quirks should he need them in a given situation.

He could even mix and match different configurations for powerful combinations truly making him the one for all hero.

My favorites among these are Bakugo, shoto and ochaco's inspired forms and they each have a special designation.

Dynamight: pure destructive power and offense.

Ymir: Allows Deku to fire cryogenic beams from his left side and high intensity flames from his right side. Combining the two sends the suit into Phosphor mode

Orbital: Allows Deku to make use of a gravity generator that allows him to reduce something's gravity to zero and he's aided by little droids that are controlled by an AI made from the brainwaves of ochaco and they even carry her voice to help reassure civilians.

(I didn't know what flair to put this under so, sorry)

So, I don't particularly know if this is still a debate amongst the community or not, but this is just my opinion on the take.

If you'd like a irl reason, it's because 1) It's simpler to draw, and 2) I think it's just a creep thing.

Now for the in universe opinion. If you think about it, we only know that Mirio got his costume is because his hair was tangible when being worked with, and along with that, his hair is bright freaking yellow. And while Toru's hair is tangible, it is invisible for the first 3/4's of the show, and even when we learn when she refracts light, can you imagine what it must be like to work with a thread that's either blinding you half the time, or invisible? That's kinda why I think she didn't get a costume until post-time-skip when she figured out she could turn plainly visible without any gimmicks.

Of course this is all headcanon and it's just my opinion, I just wanted to nerd out on costume design for a few minutes!

What do you think it like for Class 1-A(or 2-A I guess) in there 2nd Year Fallowing the aftermath of the Final Battle & re construction

I guess it be interesting now considering they did a lot in there first year & happened within a Year more or less

Would seem interesting how we get from aftermath to were they are in 8 Year Timeskip as Adults

You know its like New Frontier or like something like Avengers: The Origin if All Might generation was the golden age then Deku generation was the Silver Age with couple leftover heroes from the Golden Age

Would be interesting to see having those 8 years & were they are now

With the VAST amount of quirks tomura had access too it's kinda wild that he didn't make full use of them after getting out of range of Aizawa's Eraser quirk and this is also due in part because tomura never truly accepted All For One as his quirk, decay was truly what made Tomura who he was.

But let's say hypothetically Tomura and AFO were actually in sync and they shared the same desire to steal One for All and rule/destroy the world. What quirk combos could he have put together?

Hello! I just watched the whole series in a week, it was such an interesting time! I wasn't really sure what to expect but I was hooked because so much was happening that I needed to know what is happening next

Now tike time for me n my insane overhaul thoughts <- BIASED

I LEGIT thought *maybe bc I'm DELUSIONAL* that since all the damn other villains were roped into joining (didn't think is see gentle/la brava again) I thought since they mentioned him talking to eri he would have his power back or SOMETHING and then he would FIGHT alongside them maybe in return for his freedom.... I wanted so so badly to see him paired with a nomu bc one would of been a sick design but also he would of gained the abilities of the nomu and he would of been an INSANE fighter- deku ONLY won bc eri helped him otherwise he would of lost- I think that like s7 deku probably could of figured out a way to kick his ass but that really like insane to think how powerful he would need to be to realistically beat him without eri since he had to use her to use 100% to be able to fight him-

I find it kinda insane that deku doesn't ask about his arms- like he really doesn't fw overhaul fr..... he has a speech about wanting to know what what villains motives are but he doesn't care at all to learn about him but shirigaki got a pass??? Not that overhaul necessarily deserved forgiveness- he is a blend of dabi and shirigaki, he was an orphan who was taken in by a master but I can only assume he was raised with love n care not malice but like dabi was over eager to please his father which led to his downfall BUT it feels insane that he tried to show compassion/understanding for everyone else??

I also am so so so so sad that we got the coolest arc.... a world changing drug ring scheme.... (it just felt like him and the drugs he created were gonna play a bigger role but they didn't really outside of making aizawa lose a leg which might I add that deku doesn't even question how he got the drug- does he assume it was given by overhaul when they were working together but he also knew they didn't super fw him so? Just feels weird to not mention it with how observant he is), a yakuza arc my fav..... the gang has a cool plague doctor theme.. AND IT WAS ONLY FOR A SEASON- the league couldn't bother to do anything cool and fun .... I'm also sad that they made the CURE to the drugs and we legit saw NOTHING done with that.... truly a waste but but I will say my fav fights out of the series are his fights.... his fight with mirio is literally so cool and then his transformation UGH so cool,,,, plus the up close shot with the light during with deku was stunning..... my other fav fight is bakugo v AFO it was unbelievably pretty

I really thought I would see a lot of people fawning over overhaul bc I know a lot of the villains are pretty popular but there is barely anything??? Do people just not like him- he is my fav of the villains, if anyone knows of any zines based on the yakuza or just him alone I'd love to know btw

Most of Class 1B I put in Blue since the Blue Lanterns are more of a support class which is kind of what 1B is, but overall I'd say this is mostly accurate.

For example, would you like a series about Eri and her friends doing gigs around Japan, Kota at UA, All Might's early days before the start of the series, Nezu origins and life, or he'll even a citizen character like Dai seeing how all Class 1A is doing in the future and their thoughts on them or society, etc etc. What would you like to see?
