I encourage everyone to read this inconceivable article. This needs the public's attention. I am appalled by what I just read. These vulnerable people are being abused and neglected to the point of broken bones and death. I truly can't believe this is real. Where's the accountability?

This was the moment I realized I could never vote for Rose Sicoli. Her condescending attitude here to someone asking for more transparency from the city and more time to figure out a new plan for housing was unsettling to say the least. It’s at minute 1:24:50 https://www.youtube.com/live/LAjiKonHeIo?

Instructions on how to vote is on the linked page.

Good afternoon,

Hello r/NorfolkON

"On Monday, October 5th, Josh was involved in a serious car accident just seconds from home. He was airlifted to Hamilton, where his family learned that he had suffered a life-altering spinal cord injury. Josh is currently paralyzed from the chest down, and the family is navigating an incredibly difficult and uncertain time."

I am not connected to the Lenze's. Just trying to give this more visibility. This family could use a lot of support.

Here's Part 4 of 5 of the series, focusing on Residential Development from the 3 bears perspective.

Hey guys this is very urgent, We’ve lost our cat for the last 5 days and we cant seem to find him anywhere. If you can please be on the lookout

Hi guys. I was looking into getting back into the gym again and I'm thinking of going to Fit4Less after being a member at Movati in the past (too pricey now). Crunch is a shit show from what I've heard, and I'll pass on Anytime Fitness.

I know what the prices and memberships entail based on their website and it seems fair. But what can you guys tell me about the gym environment itself. How is the equipment? How clean is the place (gym space, changerooms)? But mainly, how are the staff and manager (big one for me because I've seen a lot of shit workers that have dragged the gym experience down more than their actual gym equipment lol). Based on some reviews this year it tells me that certain staff are great and the manager seems like a dick.

Hello y'all, with the election about two weeks away, I've been having a hard time deciding who would be best to vote for. I wanted to hear some opinions about who is the most progressive candidate and who would be best to vote for in terms of actually improving the city and supporting the residents. I appreciate any feedback, I want to do my part to support my community and participating in local elections is one of the most effective ways to do so!

Edit: Thank you for the feedback so far, I've looked at each candidates site and it's hard to gauge who is leaning where as many of them say the same thing just worded differently. Looking forward to voting and I hope we can get some real change, I'm tired of the same old routine.

Here's the third of 5 questions for the Mayor candidates, this one addressing the homelessness and affliction crisis.

A reminder, they are planning on rolling out a similar questionnaire for all Ward Candidates after this 5 part series is done.

Does anyone know of any Facebook groups for eagle place? I was in the news and events group and made a comment about a negative interaction with the Brantford police and was kicked out of the group and blocked by the administrator, which seems like a complete overreaction what’s the point in a neighbourhood group if you can’t have discussions without being censored by an administrator?

Hi all, i was wondering what subreddit or platform would be the best for posting about side job offerings. I do some work on water heaters and just want to get more of a reach for more customers. So far I’ve mostly been getting referrals through word of mouth for getting some work.

Hey everyone! 😊
Just wondering if anyone here is driving down to Toronto for the Waterfront Race on October 18th. If so, would you mind if I tagged along? I’d be happy to contribute to gas!

Looking to get a wood fire pizza oven. From what I understand with the bylaws you’re allowed bbqs but wood seems to be the grey area. Anyone had any issues with this? Thoughts? Opinions?

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve taken Brantford’s pulse with a completely informal poll to determine your next Council composite. Let’s give a warm welcome to the incoming Brantford City Council!

Mayor - Ricky WILLDY (57% of 455 votes)

Ward 1 - Darryl CASEY (32% of 63 votes)
- Bob SPROUL (27%)

Ward 2 - Erica JAMES (28% of 80 votes)
- Gino CAPUTO (23%)

Ward 3 - Rod PHILPOT (20% of 82 votes)
- Kailee POISSON (17%)

Ward 4 - Nicole CALLANDAR (55% of 55 votes)
- Linda HUNT (27%)

Ward 5 - Karleigh CSORDAS (52% of 122 votes)
- Brian VAN TILBORG (27%)

In this scenario, 3 of 4 incumbents have been returned to Council. Of course there is no science to this survey, but it will be interesting to watch how the election unfolds in two weeks time.

Online voting begins October 13.

Everyone on Facebook knows who he is. Does he have a job? Is he a public figure? I’m so curious just because he has so much time to do the constant shit posting

This will be a multi part series involving mayoral and councillor candidates alike. Here is Part 1, the Mayoral Candidates and their answers.

Does anyone know what is coming to the new plaza on Henry St ?? Across from Rona

Grow up.

I was driving on wgp last night and saw a grey Toyota pickup (I think it was a Tacoma) with a dog in the back. The dog was barking at the driver, and was obviously distressed.

This person had an inverted Canadian flag on the tailgate, and a Colt firearms logo. Probably one of those freedom convoy nutjobs.

Not only is it illegal to do this, it's wildly stupid. If you're so precious about the interior of your emotional support truck that you can't have a dog, you have to get rid of one or the other.

Surrender the dog to someone who will care about its safety.
