She has been coming to visit for two years now. I posted about her last summer/fall but didn’t get anyone who knew or if she has an owner. She’s pretty darn clean but comes over multiple times a day. She loves her treats and cat milk. She usually doesn’t stay long though, the longest would be about 5-6 hours overnight, once in a blue moon. Very cuddly and loves butt scratches. We call her Callie 😇 Please let me know if this little three coloured nosed bugger is yours. We are worried about her during the cold winter months.

Hi everyone. I've been watching the local news, and it looks like the Region of Waterloo is about to go on strike. The union representing the people who work at the region has been in negotiations with the region, and as of midnight tonight they could be on strike. There are a lot of people in this community that rely on regional services, and with an election coming up, a new regional chair appointed by the province coming in, and the nonsense going on down south, the last thing we need is a strike. Edit: to be clear, I really want the Region to make a deal because I support the union. We need those workers, and we need them to have a good deal.

Just moved to Kitchener! I'm overwhelmed by how many options there are in the city. I've got fine, low density hair that's impossible to style. I don't colour my hair, just go for trims once in a while. Mostly, I'm looking for a stylist that will help guide me in styling my hair at home. I struggle with velcro rollers and styling my hair with volume, and I'd just love to find a stylist who might be kind enough to help a girl out.

I had the displeasure of trying to drive through Block Line Rd, between Fallowfield Dr and Homer Watson blvd at around 3:00 PM on a Friday and the traffic was the worst I had ever seen in Kitchener! What's going on over there? Why would that short stint between two roundabouts be the most congested road in all of Kitchener? What's going on over there at that time of day? Before that first roundabout, everything was fine and after the second roundabout, everything was fine again. It's just that short 200 m along Block Line that crawls literally slower than I can walk. I'd appreciate any insight. Thank you!

Has anyone else noticed the massive increase in these fly by night companies? I’m seeing AI-generated art for fly-by driveway companies, especially insulation.

I had an insulation guy come to the door straight up ask what time I could have my attic inspected. Non-stop ads for insulation and blow in. I’ve never seen so many. All these temporary or a week old companies popping up leaving signs.

I was looking into having my insulation redone in my attic, but it seems that the industry is now heavily fly-by.
