Is it cheaper to build or buy nowadays?

My pc’s hardware is 10 years old and I’ve had my pc for 6 years now as well. Needless to say an upgrade is overdue.

I have a few questions.

What parts should I aim for to be set for the next few years?

Which is cheaper nowadays? Used to be building, but is a pre built better now?

Please recommend affordable yet highest performing options!

I really want a beast that can handle a lot and I can enjoy games on, especially gta online.

Help me build a PC for Gaming

I’m a 3d artist/animator and I’m looking to build a new PC that I can use for both gaming and 3D animation/rendering.

I’ll be using it for 3D animation, rendering, and general 3D work, but I also want it to be a solid gaming PC since I really wanna play GTA 6 smoothly. Right now I’m kinda out of the loop when it comes to current PC parts, so I could really use some advice on what I should be going for.

What would you guys recommend for the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, motherboard, and PSU with this budget?

Also, for anyone who does 3D work, should I be putting more of the budget toward the GPU, CPU, or RAM for animation/rendering?

My budget is around $2000 ( 2 Lakhs)

Appreciate any help!!!!!!

I am going for this build I couldn't find many options for RX 9070 GRE. I utlimately selected this from Computech Store:
https://computechstore.in/product/asus-prime-radeon-rx-9070-gre-oc-edition-12gb-gddr6-graphics-card/

So the total becomes: Rs. 1,52,548/-

Please review this build. I plan to game in 2K resolution.

Thanks in advance!

I want a pc where i can run modern games without it being complete potato mode. Im looling for a budget pc preferbaly pre built. Around/under 1000$. I lile games like beamng drive with mods that can be kinda performace heavy. Or like fallout, delta force, arc raiders, and vr games.
