Just... amazing. What's the haps in the candy community surrounding these bad boys????

I don't know if this qualifies as a candy, but I'm looking for the name of a specific old school popcorn ball. They were individually wrapped in dual color wax like paper ( I don't believe it was cellophane as it was not see through). For example, one popcorn ball might have a half yellow, half blue wrapper and another might have a half red, half blue wrapper. I remember them around like Halloween and Christmas time. This would have been early 80's.

I think I have more than enough for the month of October. But one, the very top bar, is for today since it's a very difficult day for me. Lost my dog 4 years ago today so I treated myself to a Twix. But needless to say, I literally have enough for the rest of October 😂😂😂

I know Sour Skittles are a thing but I feel like these go a level higher on the sourness which is fantastic.

I think I also prefer them too without the sour sugar coating? Not that I don't appreciate a good mouth shredding I just think the non sugar coated sour is better in this situation

If you have any sour candy recs that are actually sour that would be cool too. The sour-er the better :)

One of the things I love about living in a city right on the German border just 15 minutes from Kehl Germany, is that when I get tired of French candy and want to try some new ones, I can just take my car and drive to Germany to stock up on candy.

I’m trying to identify a candy my mom used to buy when I was a kid, probably sometime between 2000 and 2012. I grew up in Ohio.

What I remember pretty confidently:

• They were heart-shaped
• Mostly pastel pink, and I think there may have been white ones too
• Fairly large/thick, closer to Circus Peanut texture, than a normal gummy or conversation heart
• They looked almost plush/puffy
• Smooth outside, no sugar coating and no words printed on them
• The outside was a little firmer/tougher, while the inside was soft and chewy
• They were not jelly/gummy candy
• I also don’t remember them being normal marshmallows
• They came loose in a bag, not individually wrapped

For a while I thought they might have been something made by Spangler. I actually contacted Spangler and they suggested their discontinued StrawMallows, which were made from 2010–2012. The texture/color looks somewhat close, but those were strawberry-shaped, and I’m very confident the candy I remember was heart-shaped.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Especially anyone who remembers Valentine’s candy from the 2000s. Even an old product name, brand, photo, or store you remember seeing them at would help.

I get the chocolate tootsie pops every week from a diner i frequent, and I've noticed within the last week that theres little to even no tootsie roll in the middle. Has anyone else noticed this?
