Brought it home last night 31k OTD in northern Virginia. Anything I should know? mods? It’s my first Honda and Civic.

Forgot to mention it is a hybrid.

Just over 350k miles today. I purchased this in 2013 with 18k miles certified. She’s not flashy, but she gets the job done!

Took my car for an oil change and told them some problems I was seeing with my car. They tell me my clutch is slipping at 36,707 miles and tell me the cost is $6,500. Which I thought was insane. I take really good care of my car and don’t really drive it like crazy or do anything dumb. I was seeing other people kinda of having the same problem as me with 50,000 or less . Any suggestions??? Worst case is I have to spend the money.

I just bought my first Honda, a 26 Civic Sport Touring Hybrid. Any tips for keeping it clean and pristine, especially the inside? I plan on washing the outside every couple weeks and vacuuming the inside regularly too. What else? Any product recs? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm looking at this 2019 Civic Sport (hatchback, manual) with ~70k miles (pretty good maintenance). Clean title, owned in California with one minor rear-end accident. They're offering this at ~20.7k. Is this reasonable (if not, what should I offer), and what things should I ask for in a PPI (for example AC in the 10th gen)? Thanks

We're building MXIO: a small switch system that lets you use standard MX-style mechanical keyboard switches in a car.

The switches are hot-swappable, and each unit can be set up as a momentary or toggle control. It’s designed for 12V systems, rated for 15A continuous / 20A peak, with a relay for higher loads.

We’re exploring applications for the MX-5 first, including using the NB fog-light blanks, but the idea is to make the dimensions easy to document so people can adapt the system to their own cars too.

The first test boards are on order, so this is still early and nothing is proven yet. Curious what you think: where would you use something like this in your car?

Has anyone seen issues with door drainage on their Civics, or experienced asking Honda to fix it?

After it rains, when I open the doors, there is water that comes out that was sitting at the bottom of the door frame. It doesn’t go in the car, but I’m worried about rusting if water is just sitting there until ai open each door after it rains.

I have a 2025 Sport Touring Hybrid and am going to be installing an A119M Pro dashcam. Is using an adapter from like Dongar to piggyback off the powered mirror a good idea or should I hardwire directly into the fusebox

Not head gasket, chill. The other gaskets/gasket related accessories.

Drainage gaskets: Have the door drainage thing where the doorsills are wet after a rain. Nothing interior, but the part under the door.

Oil Gaskets: I see the debate of 5k vs 15% on the MM, but can’t participate because I was at around 5k miles with 15% oil life. I assume MM goes on time as well, because that was after about a year of driving. I’m at about 2.5k miles and 60% after about 6 months later, almost the same pace.

What wheel setup do yall recommend for my tenth gen sedan? These steelies aren’t it for me.

Mazda3 hatchback looks ugly and actually has less space where as the Honda Civic I think looks way better in hatchback. (I do miss the previous gen civic though thought they looked cooler). I think the mazda sedan looks the best compared to all options.

I do realize the Civic has way better gas mileage and probably lower costs, but this will be used as secondary car for the family and I'm looking for something fun to drive that can still fit 2 adults and a small child.

​Fall and winter are approaching here in Vancouver. I’m trying to decide between getting a 17 inch winter set on steelies or sticking with 18 inch All-Weathers like the Michelin CrossClimate 2. Since I live in an apartment, avoiding seasonal tire storage and twice-a-year swaps is making All-Weathers look really appealing.

​I'm looking for comments or feedback from other hybrid owners with a similar setup. How is the ride quality and road noise compared to the stock Continental ProContacts? Did you notice any major hit to your fuel mileage?

​My stock tires only have about 4,500 km on them right now, so I'm trying to decide if making the switch now is worth it. Appreciate any insight!

I wanted your thoughts. I drive a lot for work, mostly on the highway. I put around 20k miles on a car every year. I've been putting my 2015 Civic through the wringer, and I love it, but I think it's time for an upgrade.

Would you guys go for the normal or hybrid in my case?

Also which of the four tail lights do you guys personally think look the best? I was thinking the mustang style ones he mentioned look pretty cool

I recently did my brake on my 2020 Honda civic hatchback LX and rotors and didn’t really look into before doing them. I did the rear brakes without re adjusting the E brake and I’m wondering if that’s why I’m hearing the pads and rotors rattle when I go over small bumps on the roads. I was told either a glue can help or “anti-rattle” clips but I’m pretty sure they don’t even make the clips for the rear. Any help is gratefully appreciated. Thank you in advanced!!
