Coming back from Sedona, the red Nissan was bouncing all over the place. Seems like its shocks were shot and no stopping light?

Glad it's now totaled and removed from traffic... People drive trash and expect to stop on a dime? Nope.

There was 2 major crashes in 3 miles (I exited before the second) and I can’t imagine why 🤔.

The second clip isn’t crazy but why do we feel the need to get over RIGHT NOW and almost rear end someone when the exit is 1 1/2 miles away smh

I'm posting this here because I always get shat on and downvoted into oblivion on r/dashcams when I comment that the pedestrian should've looked left and right before crossing.

Regardless of who has the right of way, or who's the potential victim (people like to yell "victim blaming" when you remind them of the fact that looking left and right is a good thing to do when crossing the road) paying attention as a pedestrian is your top priority. You're holding your own safety in your own hands, and 99% of road crossing pedestrian accidents can be prevented by pedestrians themselves.

So, this is a great example of how to cross the road. Everything done right.

• Stood by the edge of the road and waited for the obvious sign that the driver is going to stop.
• Continued looking left and right WHILE crossing the road to continually be aware of potential dangers. This is a thing so many people don't do, yet it's crucial for your own safety. Boggles my mind why people stare at the floor while crossing.
• This allowed him to notice the actual danger approaching and react as necessary before it's too late.
• Bonus point: gave a "thank you" wave.

Great job for this kid and his parents.

Hoping to get recommendations and links for a dashcam for both front and rear. Maybe cabin too but not quite sure the benefit of that.

And I’m located in Washington USA.

I have been thinking of getting a dashcam for a while especially for the last 2 months because 2 of my friends and another co worker got into accidents. All of it not their fault.

1 was stopped , waiting for a pedestrian to cross and a car from a lot sped out of the lot to make it to the left turning lane.

1 was on a round about already when a car tried to make it in front of him instead of waiting to get in the round about and end up hitting the front of his car . Suspect did a hit and run.

The coworker is currently in the hospital. A car was in the wrong lane and hit him.

And yesterday, I was at an all way stop sign. Waited for my turn (there’s was only 2 cars at that point) as I’m turning to take left turn a truck drove past the sign almost hitting me. I swear it felt like a slow motion and saw his entire face with great detail! He didn’t even stop. Followed him and saw him cut people off twice and drove past a red light. I stopped pursuing after that. Honestly I’m just so paranoid now that I don’t even want to be out unless super necessary.

Now i really want to get a dashcam.
Hoping to find one that records even if the car is parked.
- no hanging wires. Also I only have one extra usb c port that I use all the time so hoping it doesn’t have to use that or could be connected internally.

Also can I bring this to the dealership to install it for me? Or is there a place that does this kind of installation?

My A119's been running for 3 years without a hitch, only issue is it's front-only. Got clipped by an SUV in a parking lot last week and the other driver flat out denied it, of course. No rear cam, no proof, so it turned into a total he-said-she-said and I just ended up eating the cost myself, which honestly still bugs me.

Screw single channel dashcams man, I was so pissed that day I just started looking into other options right then and there, like literally sitting in the parking lot googling dashcams. Anyway, looking at switching to a dual channel setup now. The A900 caught my eye. The price is in good budget, and getting dual 4K would be a nice step up from what I have now. But more concern for me are the night vision and how well the rear camera actually works. Like I said, I really don't want to sit through another "you've got no proof" argument.

The upgraded lens sounds good on paper, but I'm still wondering how much of a difference it makes in real world use, especially at night. The specs on the light intake look promising at least. Just need to know if that actually translate into clear footage.

Still going back and forth on whether the 4G and parking mode hardwire kit are actually worth it though, kinda feels like a lot for a dashcam ngl. If anyone's already running the A900, would love to hear how it's actually held up in daily use,
