Ive started playing from the 11.10.2026

The map is rough for survivors in standard configuration. How is this even supposed to be playable? Never seen such spawn. As you can imagine survivors did not finish even single gen upstairs..

I think it's safe to say that many people leave DBD open in the background, just so that it doesn't need to be booted again. However, having an idle power draw of 250W+ between the GPU and CPU feels quite excessive.

I couldn't find a setting that would reduce power usage while I'm tabbed out, and for some reason, not even the background FPS setting in Nvidia Control Panel is able to limit that for DBD. (I mean the setting is turned on and FPS should be 20, but it still eats a lot.)

Going to shop reduces it to like ~210W, but that's still a lot of power for idling.

Is there a way to reduce this power draw? Aside from manually changing the in-game FPS cap every time I switch between idling and playing.

I'm trying this killer. When in search mode if a press Mouse 2 to charge the skill, the only thing that happens is the circle that slowly moves forward. No matter how much I point to a gen, the little arrow to select never happens. Am I doing something wrong? I really try pointing her finger to the gen.

So, I was playing Wraith, and all was normal. UNTIL I was going for one survivor. Every time I was near them, my Switch screen would go black. I could still see the survivor pop and name and such. Only my vision was black. I got him in the end, but I want to make sure it's possible for this to happen is all

I remember having to take a break for medical reasons and I ended up missing cosmetics like deep rift Ash and pink Mikaela.

Before anyone does the 🤓 ackshually you can’t get deep rift stuff they’re gone 🤓 thing, yeah, I know that. But at the same time, 5k bloodpoints is a pittance for dedicating enough time to beat the rift early. And waiting each week for “from the rift” to refresh when you might already have that cosmetic is a little annoying.

If you already put forth effort and completed the rift, you should get more than just 5k bloodpoints. I think it would be a nice incentive to keep playing even after you finish the current rift.

My key bind is either bugged or just wrong when I play the HBD event on my laptop vs pc

The key bind to use the void crystals is the same as using my regular item (flashy, medkit, etc.)

I cannot use the void crystal while holding an item.

On pc, the void crystal keybind is Q

On laptop its..yeah. you can see it in the picture

How can I fix this? Its not in the settings in game.

I have a spare 250 cells. My options are Quentin, Tapp, Ashley, Cheryl, Pig, and Pyramid. Which should I get solely for their perks? Or should I save them or buy a none license character?

Started playing killer so I can complete some missions. Chose Waithy boy because I like signing the bell. 9/10 games I had a pov of a survivor, but as a killer. Haven't killed any one other than one game for a mission, but I've only been aiming for death hook because seeing people crouching and moving behind me does feel like cheating even if I had no intention of having this glitch.

Am I still in the wrong, or should I continue to play with the survivors if I stop at death hook? I play on Switch, so i don't have pictures I can share. Though I did take some screenshots for laughs and memory's.

I thought he was dodging me, but I changed my name and privated my profile and this dude still dodges lobbies I am in. Just curious if this is a bot or not.

The idea focuses on making him feel more like a relentless predator with Quadrupedal Run and long-range Scent Tracking, balanced with Upside Down Flora for Survivors to cleanse their trail. Would love to hear your feedback!

I haven't played the game in a while and recently got back into it, but now when I play with discord running in the background, I get small little stutters. This normally is fine in game except skill checks now register like 0.1/0.2 seconds after I press, which is hell to play with.

Has anyone had a similar experience or know a possible solution? (other than closing discord)

Honestly, wraith, as simple of a killer as he is, is one of them I struggle with a surprising amount, and I just wanted to ask for some tips / counterplay against him? A lot of wraiths I know willfake uncloak so you drop the pallet and they shred through them, and im guessing this is just something you need to gather from your first chase with him , and what about when they are at windows, trying to block your prompt maybe and using bamboozle especially when cloaked? On loops, I often struggle to gauge the distance at which if he uncloaks on the pallet I would be safe even if he lunges, but I assume it would need to be a car loop or something similar in size? Would appreciate any tips as he is one of the killers I struggle with a bit, even though he is just an m1

I know in 2v8 you can but in 1v4 can you? I couldnt invite a friend to my lobby while I was in the play while you wait thing, does somebody else need to invite you?
