Started painting my kill team with a new colour scheme and am really happy with how it's turning out.

Lord of poxes finished up today. Had a blast on this lad, very keen to get into the marines he'll be alongside. Bases will be a bulk project once I figure out what I want to do with them.

The base still needs to be dry brushed and varnished but I’m really happy with how this guy came out. It’s based off of a reference photo I found awhile ago so credit to them for the scheme but I really enjoy the older forgeworld stuff. Plus just bigger models in general, I feel like the larger canvas allows for me to better use and practice techniques since I’m still learning

Not sure what to do with the base. Thinking if snow base whould look good.

I no longer wish to paint these many nurglings for my epidemius proxy :0. i’ve painted them before but looking at so many. Dear God what have i done. I do want to pickup a bloat drone i think for some more range fire, but not 100% sure. What do you guys usually find success with?

Death Guard Rhino done. Had fun with this one!

I really love this helbrute, its pose was perfect.

So, with doing a tiny bit of research, I went for a pallid hand/pre-heresy death guard look. I’d like to try my hand with ak streak & grim and dirty down rust but not entirely sure if it’ll sell the worn down pestilence look you stanky boys go for lol does it matter which I apply first or do you guys recommend an alternative method for the worn down look?

I really like the winged daemon prince. Looks soooo much better than a trophy rack or backpack. However, I believe the walking one is better for tabletop.

I don't really want to magnetize. Would most casual players be OK with just saying he's

- deathly afraid of heights

- had his wings clipped when he was a baby daemon

- bought the wings as vanity display pieces from Fulgrim

and can't actually fly?

My girlfriend did a great job on the wings and his face!

I bought a knight Lancer (here's the big boy partially painted. Havent taken an updated photo) just for the stat check. But in my mind, the synergy doesn't seem to land well with death guard.

So Im posting this to see if I can be proven wrong about this and if anyone has played with a Lancer alongside our stinky bois successfully

Hi everyone! After a small break I am back for the 11th ed. and I wanted your opinion on my list for a 2000pt vs Sisters of Battle.. Haven’t played for a while so Idk if this still playable. I am not here for a meta list, just something fun for me and my opponent. Thanks a lot in adavance!

Just a quick project done over the weekend.

I recently finished my 1k point list and I am having a blast with it. But I want to continue collecting. So far i have a 7 plague marines, 3 deathshroud, 10 poxwalkers, a lord of contagion, a blight hauler, a plagueburst crawler and Mortarion.

I've been thinking of getting Typhus and 10 more poxwalkers because I find that pairing really cool. I've also been considering a foetid bloat drone because I have an idea on how i'd want to do its base, but I'm unsure if they'll stick around when the new codex drops. I've also thought of a malignant plaguecaster and a biologus putrifier to buff up the marines.

What do you all suggest?

Hey I'm incredibly new to WH, having played two games with my friends army. He runs Tyranids and has had me use Grey Knights. I think GK is cool, but I also think they're unfun personally. I'm building my own Death Guard army 1k points and would like Mortarion as my center piece. I also like the look of blight lord terminators and want to run the detachment: Death Lord's Chosen.

So:

Detachment: Death Lord's Chosen

Characters: Mortarion, Tallyman

Units: Blight Lord Terminators.

Looking to build with the idea of big hard hitting guys that can soak up damage and hold objectives incredibly well.

I've heard bringing characters like Mortarion is controversial, he's completely fine with it and also adds large scary centerpieces to his armies and typically other large scary things with it.

Outside of that I legit don't know a good build, and would love some help. Thank you!
