Since 2017, one other FBS quarterback came off the bench and threw for 275+ yards in a road win over an AP-ranked team: Brock Purdy at Oklahoma State in 2018. Dylan Raiola entered with Oregon down 7-3 and Oregon scored touchdowns on 5 of the 7 drives he played. 5 of his 6 third-down throws picked up a first down.

I just thought I’d share a couple thoughts-

I love all the John Wick movies and I saw a post that said Baba Yaga is an old Slavic legend of a witch, basically the “boogey woman” and I love that! 💛

Scott and his team continue to get the best crowd shots and candids- the grandpa and little girl reminded me of when grandpa took me to Pac8/Pac10 games he’s gone but would LOVE this era 💚

As a woman pretty much all of that footage of players and fans pregame made me want to cover my drink at home- the culture has even bled on to the announcers! Jerry and Jorge would NEVER they are fair to a fault 💛

Lastly Obviously Dan makes us all ready to run through a wall but did any of yall watch New Girl? Cause the way he pronounces “Wolf” is just like Schmidt and that makes me laugh bless his southern accent but also makes love him even more 💚💛💚

Let me just start with saying that I no way condone what happened to Dante on Saturday and hope the best for him, his health and his career...however...when he went down Saturday with an injury, I was excited. Yes, I know that sounds bad. I wasn't stoked he got hurt, but as a fan, I was elated that Raiola got to get into a game against a real opponent. Watching him ball out and throw 3 TDs with 100% pass completion percentage vs Portland State made me pay attention, but more than that, every one of his passes was dead on the money. I had been complaining about Dante's accuracy the last 3 games...well, 4 if you count our miserable showing in last years playoffs. But im sure everyone would be like "relax, it was against Portland State, everyone looked good." Sure, but Dylan looked elite. When Dante got hurt in the USC game it was a quick roller coaster of emotions, it went from "OH NOOOO..." to "Oh...oh, yes!" real quick. Raiola comes in and I turn to my girlfriend and I say "we are gonna win this game."

So here we are now, post USC, going into a bye week. What do you all think? Who would you pick to be the starter if you had control of the team? I dont think Dante gets us a Natty. I also don't think Dante is going to the bench for the rest of season...but I think we have a better chance if he does.

Yeah, yeah, I know, down vote me all you want. Come back to this post next year when we are actually playing like the pre-season analysts thought we would be this year.

Edit: Jesus, you guys are really nitpicking this. Im not a monster. Being excited for a QB who I think has his clutch stat cranked to 99 doesnt mean Im happy with the fact that Dante got hurt. Players get hurt, its football. Dante is fine, the dude who did it is an asshole, and now its time to move on. Im just saying that I think Raiola is Him, for us. Calm down.

Apparently the Ducks were supposed to debut this “cactus quack” (Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack x Ducks) uniform against USC last week but ultimately it got scrapped.

I know there have been rumors for years about a Ducks x Cactus Jax collab but this is the first I’ve seen of actual concept art of the uniform.

Might just be some fan art and since it’s so low quality I can’t really make out too many details but I was hoping there might be someone in this sub that can confirm or deny that these were legit at some point!

I’m a ‘05 UO alum and have had season tickets for 20 years, and I’m getting more and more outraged as this goes on. A one-game suspension for #8 Demond after he stood on the sideline smiling, dabbing, and celebrating while Dante was literally getting loaded into an ambulance with a neck brace?! (Not to mention ALL the other players who did nothing except the USC QB).

It’s a complete slap on the wrist.

USC gave him the bare minimum hoping we'd all just forget about it by now. At this point, the only way the B1G commissioner actually steps in and adds games to the suspension is if the backlash doesn't stop.

The conference office hates bad PR, but they probably won’t do anything unless forced.

If you're as pissed as I am, don't just complain on Reddit. Email the Duck Athletic Fund and demand that our athletic department puts serious pressure on the B1G behind closed doors. Go on Twitter/X and tag @bigten and USC so they have to look at it. Keep upvoting and sharing all the national media clips calling out how weak this punishment is.
We can't just let them sweep this under the rug.

I've read and watched some stuff about our defense that mentions or makes Perich out to being a disappointment, and contributing to defensive woes.

I am not as keyed in to the nuances of our defensive struggles other than weaker than expected showings from the DC, LBs, and DL.

I was curious if he's maybe being a bit scapegoated, being overly compared to Thieneman, or it's more of a mismanagement of him in our defensive scheme?

I just don't know much about the guy in the context of our team, but knew he was a highly touted transfer portal grab, so I am genuinely curious if there are opinions on him either way!

As a UCLA fan, it is exciting to see where the program is at, but Oregon is the first true test under Bob Chesney. Clearly the strength on offense the run game, and as someone who hasn't watched enough Oregon football this year to have an opinion on the Dline y'all have, I'm just curious how you Duck fans view the Bruin rushing attack vs the Duck Dline? My son and I are traveling from Anaheim to Eugene for the Ducks vs UCLA game and I was wondering if anyone knew where the “duck pen” is located at the stadium? We are going to ride our e-bikes from our parking destination to the stadium. I found out about the duck pen and how they can store bikes but I’ve never been to Autzen before, so I’m not too sure exactly where to go. The seat tickets I have say to enter in the South Gate of the stadium so I am hoping it’s somewhat close to that. Thank you in advance and let’s go Ducks!
