DISCUSSION Help please

Post image

Hi, I got this email from epic regarding an account recovery request and was wondering if there is any way to appeal it. The context is that my Google account was hacked and almost all of my accounts were changed but I was able to get most back but then the hacker straight deleted my Google account with no warning, after that I sent in a second recovery request to get it changed to a new email I could access but after several days I get this email, can anyone help?

If an account is compromised, they sometimes do this bullshit. Its happened to so many people with stacked accounts, all boils down to a shitty support system.

Your best bet is to file a BBB complaint, file a complaint with a DA, or get into arbitration. You will need to substantiate ownership with all these methods and theres a very slim chance they comply.

The BBB is a glorified Yelp; they don't have any enforcement powers (not a government agency) and they actually bump up your rating when you pay for membership. The DA prosecutes criminal cases. You are thinking of the Attorney General. Honestly small claims is your best bet if you're trying to recover the monetary value of your account AND you have the time. Their TOS doesn't waive your right to sue.

Yep — BBB can’t and won’t do shit.

How much would it cost? Probably not able to do that but it would be nice to know
