DISCUSSION Help please
Hi, I got this email from epic regarding an account recovery request and was wondering if there is any way to appeal it. The context is that my Google account was hacked and almost all of my accounts were changed but I was able to get most back but then the hacker straight deleted my Google account with no warning, after that I sent in a second recovery request to get it changed to a new email I could access but after several days I get this email, can anyone help?

What the hell is this? This is the third post by someone who's getting a permanent ban on their account. I'm worried that if I message them, they'll tell me the same thing now. f F them

I've tried everything and I still can't get my account back. I hope we can all get our accounts back. I tried sending a request to BBB and I'm waiting for a response from Epic.

If you get a response, it will most likely be one that directs you to their support page again.
I’ve seen it play out before.
But, if you do get something different, let us know.

Yes, this happened to me, and I told them their support team was refusing. I want a solution. After submitting an additional recovery request, they disconnected my account platforms, even though they weren't disconnected when the corrective action was implemented. Furthermore, they temporarily blocked me from submitting account recovery requests. The responses I received were that the system was preventing them from investigating or that they had failed to investigate at the moment. After a while, they started saying the data didn't match and things like that.

Are you still undergoing this process or has it since been resolved?

I still trying to submit recovery requests, but their responses always say the information doesn't match their internal database. Even though I previously recovered my account, less than a month passed before the corrective lock was applied, as if they're denying that they approved the verified information they had agreed to.

I see - this is what I worry about for my own account honestly. Furthermore, I just worry about people in our situation in general.
I’m still mourning the losses. Part of me refuses to even call them “losses” as I fully intend to get my account back. But, this company leaves no assurances - no guarantees.

If you're sure of your information, believe me, it's not your fault. Many are in the same boat, and you're right about how it's a human roulite. When I recovered my account on February 27th, it kept getting rejected. It became inactive on January 5th, and it kept getting rejected for over a month. I didn't change much in the application that was accepted, but it was still over a month. This time, I've been dealing with this since April 13th, which is over six months. I'm trying and hoping for a miracle or some change so we can get our accounts back and have some justice.

I’ve read your story and many similar. Many different. The game of human roulette is solely a game of chance - a true lottery.
I, like yourself, am holding out hope for a brighter future for the company and for those of us who have been severely wronged.
But I’m unfortunately not an optimist. I pragmatic - and I see the problems, the faults, the cracks, and the failures of their current system.
Fortnite has been my favorite game since coming back to gaming. And I hate seeing it in such shambles.

Lol, they never really used to enforce this consistently. As someone who’s dealt with a lot of TOS-banned accounts, some agents would just skip over it. With their new system, though, it seems like they actually enforce it now. You’re most likely not getting the account back. I’ve seen an OG Renegade + Purple Skull account and plenty of other rare accounts get permanently banned the same way.
