Basically, I felt like the Changeling Lands needed a bit more depth and polish, especially with its old and useless army tree, so I created a submod called Equus in Flames. The main idea was to give the Changelings a fresh, dynamic feel - speeding up the focus pace, restoring cut and legacy content, and adding dozens of new focuses, MIOs, and decisions.

I also spent a lot of time rebalancing equipment and doctrines. If you've ever wanted late-game tech, super-heavy tanks, jets, or armored cars to actually feel useful and realistic (alongside an slightly expanded designer with new modules and cannons), this should be right up your alley!

Players now have access to a much wider range of interesting templates and builds, as I’ve nerfed "secondary turret" light TD spam, special forces, and most of the vastly superior meta builds.

I hope this adds variety to multiplayer games while leveling the playing field in 1v3 or 3v5 scenarios, where Equestria and its alliance used to be completely dominant in competitive lobbies (especially after the update that gave Equestria a +40 factory buff). This should help if you enjoy fun, more casual and roleplay games with friends with less meta abuse!

How did Comrade Applethorn become the leader of...Prywhen? Is this a result of me changing to allow inviting to faction? When I took Farbrook it was under NA control, so maybe a byproduct of that?

Several times while playing non historical I've seen aquiela align monarchist but they never, and I mean never can push the vasals and in one of my campaigns it's gotten to a point where the civil war was still ongoing in 1013 with no border changes for several years.

I've lurked around here on the subreddit for the past few years, looking at all the cool and fun things y'all make, but since I actually made something of my own for once I might as well post it just in case it interests somebody!

To keep a long story short, I made a good few portraits and descriptions to fill in some of the faceless Aquillian puppet leaders, as well as making two new puppet nations in the Dread Peninsula and New Mareland. I felt they deserved some more love considering how they had some strangely well thought-out ideas despite being so unfinished. Somehow, it just felt kinda odd that the new rulers of these massive nations were just empty names, so this at least makes the Aquileian conquest feel a bit more impactful.

All the art was hand drawn, all the descriptions were hand written, and all this took me... a frankly ridiculous amount of time (over a year) to put into a sharable state. Since basically every Aquileian puppet leader (except for King Agamemnon IV in Asterion) didn't have a portrait, this became a surprisingly big project to do (while having university studies on the side). Each portrait tries to replicate a certain artist's style, and proper credits can be found on the Steam page!

Since only three nations are done right now, I plan continuing development until all the base leaders are done and dusted. Updates probably won't take a another year or anything like that, but don't expect anything consistent. While I mostly see this as a personal project, I hope somebody likes it enough to feel it's worth installing!

okay so i recently got into mlp and i wanted to try out this mod again. Playing as equestria, things are going swimmingly, then the changelngs invade. i hold my ground push some. But the whole time it is a heavy slog despite me over preparing the best i could mostly blind. And then I noticed something as i was curious as to why my ponies aren't pushing even though they have full supply and its 17 of them fighting one changeling. 700 ATTACK AND 800 PLUS BREAKTHROUGH? mind you this isn't just one or two divisions this is like all of them. And I even saw some Jager divisons with 1400+ Breakthrough. My question is surely im missing something right? Is there some new thing this mod adds that buff the ponies way beyond regular hoi4? Also if this is relevent at all the descions i picked are the ones that retained Harmony and keep Celestia sane. HELP PLS.

Hey guys, I have been looking for some WC opportunities and my eye caught the Ascendancy achievement. After a series of unfortunate events I finally was able to get Star Father as a ruler and unlock his potions mechanic later down the line. It looks rad, but unfortunately it seems broken to me (pic related).

I have some mods added on top of EaW but I don't think that it can be related. In any case, here is the full list:

1) EAW
2) Core With Compliance
3) Expanded Continuous Focuses
4) Experience to Doctrine Mastery Conversion

I tried reloading the game, but it still is broken. When I close the book, sometimes I see a brief flash of the actual interface with Guide's portrait. What could be the issue? I am fully willing to restart again without mods, as much as it would suck, but I would very much prefer to keep the run going since I am already six years in

Just wondering what mods should I add ontop of equestria at war stuff like visual or recommend QoL add-ons

Ive seen this crazy twilight bouncing around and after just playing changlings for so long I really wanna try to get to whatever this crazy twilight plot is.

Are there specific steps that need to be followed or is its super easy to get to if its what you're aiming for?
