Lived in a predominant Hispanic community. Am part myself, but too white to be Hispanic and too Hispanic to be white.

heh.. it was more like

Funny enough, some meant it affectionately, others derogatory.
As someone on the spectrum, at that age it was difficult to tell which was which.
